I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Long Trail House (South Building Room 372). The location could not be more convenient if you plan on skiing at Stratton as you are a quick 5-10 minute walk from slopes as well as many stores and restaurants. The housekeeping staff is very thorough and do an excellent job. The rooms are also quite roomy and spacious. The underground parking garage is also very convenient as well, especially on icy/snowy days. The reason I deducted one star is due to the following minor issues that I believe for the high cost need to be addressed. The room had a dated TV that wasn't high definition and did not have any smart streaming functionality. The kitchen could use more glasses and dishes. For instance, there were only 4 coffee cups, two of which were very small in size. The building's common room/lobby room had the furniture removed and never had the fireplace going. Lastly, the hot tubs were either closed or not hot enough for our liking when we tried to use them. While I would certainly stay here again I think these need to be addressed.

I got a nice studio across the street from the mountain. Very nice, quiet, and I love having a ski locker and heated underground parking especially when it’s freezing outside. I’d rent a property here again in the future if the price was right

The room has all we need. They have pans, pots, utensils, stove, fireplace. The atmosphere of the room feels cozy. The parking lot is also good. Can be a little expensive but acceptable for ski resort.

Comfortable, free laundry washer and dryer (30 min each, on every floor), jacuzzi, sauna, pool. Roku equipped Sharp tv, many in room board games available, very close to village. Balcony in every room. Fireplace for the winter. Lockers for skis. Kitchen and dining area in room. Fridge with freezer, and other home comforts available. Table 341 in hotel next door has free breakfast from 8-10 am (eggs, sausage, prepared variety of Kelloggs cereal, coffee, tea, variety of juices, pre sliced breads, pastries, fruits, variety of yogurts, Quaker prepackaged oatmeal, etc), which no one checks ID for, so enjoy.

The best location on Stratton Mtn! In the village with an easy walk to the lifts. Hot tub, sauna, pool, ice skating, big open pit fires for s'mores, sledding...it's got it all and 3.5 hrs from NYC's west side!

The location is terrific. Walking distance to the lift, shopping and restaurants. However, for the expensive price we paid, my one bedroom unit was very dated. The tile in the bathroom was cracked. The rug was worn and stained and the kitchen was outdated as well. Only one of the two outdoor jacuzzis had jets that worked. Also the fireplace in the main lobby was never lit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the accommodations provided do not justify the rate charged.

Not ski in/ski out per se but right at the base of the mountain and a short 2 min walk to the village and lifts. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The village is very picturesque. We stayed during a holiday weekend and they had so many family oriented activities. It was a wonderful experience that I very much enjoyed. The only issue was the condos are owner- oriented. They all vary slightly and our unit was missing a few items we'd really like. Otherwise, very fun and relaxing.

These are great multibed/bathroom units. Obviously set up for skiing, but great for a family leaf peeping trip. Clean and cozy with room to spread out or just hang out together. Very comfortable and relaxed location.
