Gym only review! I go to gym usually 5 times a week and have been to probably 100 gyms throughout country. Needed to use this gym a couple times and was extremely disappointed with this gym. Weight lifting equipment terribly dated and in poor condition with visible rust! Feel like gym membership should include tetanus shot. Sad to say, the worst gym I've been to in a long time. Cardio equipment seems ok but by no means cutting edge. I'm not a crank and try to look for positives but Streamwood needs to do better.

The Staff is wonderful the problem is this is a Municipality that waits until the pool and hot tub get past their usefulness,one would think they would see the facility is 26 years old and update the aquatics.

Live in Streamwood and started taking my grandson to summer classes, he's 4. Great programs, excellent teachers and staff. The place is super clean has ton of things to do. There's gym, aerobics class, cardio, lap pool, track and I'm sure much more I'm not listing. Excellent neighborhood center

If I could rate lower I would. I’ve been going to this facility all my life. Love the equipment as well as how close it is to where used to live. I’m currently 18 and remember all the birthday parties my parents have had there as well as the ones I’ve attended. Going to the pool every weekend with my dad and brother was the best. Around the age of 16 I got my own gym membership and I began to hate it. Not because of the equipment but because of the staff. I would always get stared at as if I was sneaking in even though I had a membership. One time I forgot to scan in and they tried kicking me out even though I had a membership. They treat older people and young people so differently. I would even see them gossiping and staring. I recently moved o Naperville so that was all over. My friends told me about an open gym for basketball they were hosting so I decided to make the 40 minute drive and have a good time. The open gym was scheduled from 4-5:30. We played for about 45 minutes until they kicked us out because of the soccer team. This was my breaking point. How are they going to kick us out and not give me a Danm refund. They basically said there’s nothing I can do until I get call back. Me and my friends walked back in asking if we could just use the weight room in place of getting a refund. They said no and joked about it. They think that all the teens are dumb and just mess around the whole time- words from a literal part time staff member… The picture of the open gym schedule sits on the front desk, literally the first thing you see when you go in. THEY HAVE MY PICTURE SITTING ON THE FROMT DESK AS IF TRY AND SNEAK IN EVERY TIME I GET A CHANCE FOR MONTHS. How is that professional at all??? My little brother would always get told he can’t work out in crocs and not let him in and all his white friends had never even been told they couldn’t… never been so angry about a place of business I feel the need to write a review.

Park Place has a good variety of fitness equipment and is usually well maintained. Some of the patrons could be more considerate and clean up after themselves.

If you are thinking about booking the pool party for a special birthday DO IT! you won't regret it the staff specially the party host (Kerri)we had at my sons birthday party was amazing she was attentive, caring, helpful, and so much fun thank you Park Place for a unforgettable party!

My granddaughter played a travel volleyball game. Park Place looked clean and well maintained with plenty to do for everyone.

I give this 5 stars because it's nothing fancy, it is an affordable, family-friendly fitness center, which suits my needs perfectly. Staff members are always attentive about keeping machines clean, too.

Love the aquatics class! I'm not a morning person, but this class is a good reason to get moving in the morning. Staff is very friendly. Facility is always spotless.

Streamwood park Dist had this great Ice truck and a lot of kids ready to select a flavor. The gentleman working the truck was such a nice guy and I really hope streamwood allows for another time to have this at the park for the afternoon. Wasn't able to taste, but looking forward for the next time.

My wife goes there for her Zumba class. I think her instructor is named lilybeth. She totally loves her class. She totally loves her instructor it's a great place, a small group and they all seem to get along. My wife likes it. They even go once a month sometime and have lunch together. Some of them great place for Zumba

The Streamwood Park District provides so many opportunities for kids to grow through sports. I would definitely recommend the Hot Shots basketball clinic. The coach did an excellent job walking the kids through different drills that will help the kids develop skills at their own pace. It was a low-key clinic with a great ratio of coach to kids. We will definitely be back in the future for more athletic opportunities.

Fun place to bring the family for indoor swimming during the winter.

Very clean and well run. We use the fitness center, locker rooms and pool, and find it a great value. The place is kept very clean, including the towels, showers, the equipment and especially the pool/spa/sauna area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and there are many classes for all ages and fitness levels, and lots of activities and events for the kids.

Great place! They always make you feel welcomed here. They also offer many programs for all ages!
