The food here is authentic and super delicious! We are so glad you guys are in Strongsville, we had to drive downtown for the longest time >.< I'd recommend, from my personal favorites: * Fried Dumplings #011 - not spicy, awesome filling, tastes great * Chicken and Shrimp Corn Soup #257 - comes in a large size, can feed 4, super good if you are in the mood for soup * Szechuan Dried Pepper Chicken w. Peanut #059 - spicy, and very addicting * Stewed Chicken w. Three Cups Sauce #064 - this dish has Chinese herbs in it, slightly spicy, the stewed meat is really soft, authentic and smells great * Steamed Fish Filet w. Vegetable in Seasoned Soy Sauce #161 - comes in a large portion, fish is soft, the sauce is flavorful drizzled on rice, there is baby bok choy in it too, get your vegetables in! * Mapo Tofu #186 - spicy, and goes really well with rice, recommend not to drink the sauce, just snack on the soft tofu bits * Sautéed Green Bok Choy w. Minced Garlic #202 - Great vegetable selection, typically we go for one vegetable dish per meal, non-spicy, Gailan, and Yu Choy may be in stock instead, both are great options too instead of Baby Bok Choy * Dried Sautéed String Bean #212 - Another great vegetable option, non-spicy * Leek w. Shredded Bean Curd #223 - Third vegetable option, slightly spicy, with Chinese leek leaves, try the bean curd, yummy and hearty texture, authentic dish * dry hot pot with lamb * Egg drop soup * wonton soup * pepper chicken with basil These are some of the dishes we've tried so far, and our consistent go-to. Give them a try, and hope everyone enjoys them as much as we do! P.S. To the Szechuan Gourmet Team, from the downtown menu, we would love to have the Chinese Water Spinach as a menu option in Strongsville!

We’re so glad to find out about this authentic Chinese place! We’ve been to China before and miss authentic Chinese food so badly. Can’t believe I can order chicken with chili sauce (口水鸡) in Strongsville! Definitely will come back! Would love to try their 回锅肉 next time!

Second time traveling through Cleveland, first time going to a Chinese restaurant in Ohio. Found an absolute gem. Authentic delicious Chinese cuisine. Recommend getting the stir fry string beans, the dry pot with beef, and fish filet in chili oil (I forget the English name). Modern decor and chill atmosphere. Very clean. Lots of parking nearby. EDIT DO NOT ORDER THE ROAST DUCK FOR TAKEOUT. RECEIVED 85% BONE BASICALLY NO MEAT. ALSO ORDERED SESAME CHICKEN FOR TAKEOUT AND IT WAS INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING

Came here for a family dinner of 8, and was very satisfied! The food was good, and the service was friendly and attentive. We had called in our reservation and they had a long table set up for us. The dishes we ordered were tasty, affordable, and well presented. Our favorites were the crispy salted chicken (“popcorn chicken”), cashew chicken, spicy eggplant tofu, and chicken with snowpeas. (Each entree comes with a bowl of fried rice, which I appreciate). The 2 kids also loved the lo-mein noodles with chicken. Next time, without the fish-averse fam, I would like to try some of their seafood dishes.

This is a really nice Chinese restaurant that is where Zoup used to be. The presentation of the food and service was phenomenal and most of the food was delicious (General Tso's chicken, crab rangoon, and lamb skewers really stood out). Some of the food we ordered was just ok, like the pork egg Foo yung, but overall this was definitely a 5 star experience and worth checking out!

I've always called this one of my FAVORITE restaurant in the Cleveland area. I've chosen to make this my dinner spot for many occasions but it really upset me today. They raised the prices, fine. We got the bill and they added $1 to every single item regardless and they never gave us a heads. up. Also, the dish I always order has pine nuts and they failed to include them and did not tell me. I asked and they acted like they couldn't find pine nuts at the Asian market. They offered me peanuts of course significantly cheaper. I said no thanks expecting them to try to make it right but instead they surprise us with a surprise of a price increase. Charging more for food but removing a main ingredient trying to save every cent. Pine nuts are sold at many places including online. Change your menu prices and food descriptions and even the photos. Inform customers when you are intentionally out of something. Extremely disappointed.

I’ve been here a couple times now, and have sampled the menu and have yet to find an item that I do not like. The facility is very clean on the inside, including the bathrooms, staff is friendly and super quick at getting your order together. Overall, the food is amazingly great to look at, and even better to taste. The price point is more than fair and you can feed quite a few people with all the a few bucks. I highly recommend this location and think everyone will enjoy it as much as I did.

Decided to try out the restaurant with a friend on a whim. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were very filling. The prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food we got. The food that was labeled spicy or hot absolutely was, even more so than expected. The heat didn't overpower the taste of the food though, so if you like hotter food, you're in luck!
