PROS: The only thing this management is proactive about is to remind us of paying our rent on the first day of each month. CONS: Experience with the staff: Last year we moved into this community on a one year lease, but wanted to upgrade to bigger unit due to personal reasons. About 3 months before the end of our lease, we reached out to.the leasing office and enquired about the process to transfer the lease. We were provided a transfer request form which we signed and hand delivered to the office. We even had the inspection done as well that got approved too. The whole process was completed well before the 60 day notice period. About 62 days before the end of lease, we met the staff to finalize the transfer. We specifically asked about the absolute final date to select the new apartment. The staff seemed unsure about the date and told us that we are good for the transfer and can select the apartment even 30 days before the end of lease for getting a better price, however, they completely flipped about 36 days before the end of lease and termed this as a misunderstanding on our part. Now they want us to bear the higher "monthly basis" rent for another couple of months and finalize the new apartment if interested. We are left with no other option but to lose our hard earned money as we have to upgrade to a bigger unit somewhere else and pay the 2 months here as well. We had no issues in finalizing the apartment at a higher price 62 days before end of lease had we been made aware of it on that day. Additionally, the maintenance is delayed forever. I personally had to wait for almost 5 months on my service request for getting the bathroom exhaust fan replaced and even had to buy the kitchen light bulbs out of pocket. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.

There should be provision for giving 0 star too because Cherry Tree Apartments deserves nothing but 0 star. If at all you are considering to move here, please do spend 2 minute reading this review and then take decision: Staying in this community is like a nightmare now a days, what a downfall for a place which once used to be a reputed community in this area. We were staying here for last 3 years(Stayed in 2018 too) and when our lease was approaching end, we went to the community office to get apartment type upgraded to 2B2B. Surprisingly they told me about new policy that we have to pay 2 month rent as penalty even if our lease were ending OR one has not to be in any active lease and he/she should not be staying in Cherry Tree in to book any new apartment. When I went to India, I was not part of lease and I applied for new apartment when I was there. They kept hold on my application for more than 2 week, during that period I tried calling them, mailed them and left VM but Management never responded. One fine day they rejected my application citing futile reason of credit score. Then again I called their office and finally Lydia received my call. She went furious, started shouting and talking to me rudely for applying this way. My take was simple and politely I told her, your office only told me that, One has to be out of lease and out of community. Lydia said, she will only talk to my wife as she is on lease(But why, it was about a new lease). Finally my wife called her that we will pay the penalty. Lydia told her that she will initiate the inspection and then she will approve transfer. Lydia sent a mail saying our apartment has damages and hence they denied our transfer request. When my wife asked the details of damage, her response was, there are Crayons marks and Kitchen counter has wallpaper on it. seriously ?? When I came back to US, I gave her visit, and told her politely about crayons mark, it was done by 2 year old toddler and we have successfully explained him and hence it is not everywhere. If needed I can paint those spots. Lydia again rudely said, I will not teach you about parenting, my transfer request will remain denied. That fine moment I decided to move out of this community. Management and Maintenance are horrible, They take months now a days to fix simple issues. They talk like frustrated aliens, there are discrimination as you can see, they never reply to any Indian feedback or review. My two cent advice would be to stay away from negativity and find any community where you will be treated fairly, Management will understand issues and would be there to help you if you are in need. --- Dear Nicole, Really appreciate your willingness to help and solve the issues when a resident feels disappointed. Thank you for extending help and ensuring that our transfer gets completed and we remain the residents of Cherry Tree. I do appreciate the way Cherry Tree office has handled our transfer and timely move-in. Hope we continue with the same enthusiasm and diligence. Thanks again for everything!

I STRONGLY suggest not move into cherry tree apartments. I have been mentally disturbed and it’s impacting my health. I am losing money and time. Its effecting my work. We have reported the issue in very firstly within 15 days of our move in issue with AC. All the Appliances are getting tripped off from electric board. Post that after a month Bill has spiked up like anything and we have raised a ticket for appliances not working as desired. Cheery tree has asked to raise it with electric department. We have chased the electric departed and they were surprised with the bill, and they have come and checked the meter, and they say its working a 99.6 accurately without any issue and they has given written letter to us. Post that we have notified cherry tree they are very careless about the issue, and they still blame on electric meter. We have stopped the AC unit from SEP 14 and ask the electric department for meter reading they say its been only minimum usage of 97 KWH. Were as when the AC unit is on its consumption is 1700+ KWH. Here itself we can conclude the issue is with AC unit. I am being investigating our selfs. They still want to investigate the issue now after a bill has spike to 1200$+ Still, I am not using the AC unit in the summer and room temperature itself is on 83F. we are living in a heated situation as we cannot afford the lease break. I STRONGLY not recommend.

Lived here for 2 years. Here are my positives and negatives. -Excellent communication and service from our leasing manager -large apartment in a nice area of Strongsville -friendly neighbors -mail area is inside your building Negatives: -raised rent, paying 1600 2Bed 1Bath just to have service requests that are currently open past four months. I have talked to the assistant manager and she is aware no one has come to enter the unit yet- no one has come. -had to call emergency maintenance when my husband and I came back home from a trip for an over flowing toilet. Maintenance guy was extremely rude huffing and puffing the whole time he was in our unit and told us that we needed to call earlier because we were interrupting his dinner. Um? You work 24/7. that’s your job description. Sorry our flight wasn’t convenient for you. -They are renovating multiple units in my building yet no one can come and change a lightbulb I put in a request for *Update* They finally responded to my request. However, while I was home all day, someone in maintenance called me to say we didn’t answer the door and they need us to let them in. Not even 5 minutes after getting this voicemail, I call them back twice and no answer. I then receive an email a few mins later stated my request was closed because I didn’t answer the door. They have done this 3 times to us now where they show up to the wrong building/apartment and try to claim you didn’t answer the door. Also why not answer the phone 5 minutes after you leave a voicemail? You’re then stuck in a loop with the leasing office trying to get maintenance back in so you’re not waiting months for them to respond again. Ridiculous. -narrow roadways and small parking lots. Always people walking in the road even at night time. I am happy I rented a garage because there have been days where I came home from work and there were literally NO parking spaces at all in the area that my building was located. -instead of being upset for people setting boxes and garbage bags on the outside of the compactor (which breaks quite frequently) I think it is worth investing in multiple compactor or dumpster units, considering there is no playground or outdoor area in the grass besides the pond and gazebo

"I recently had an unfortunate experience while attempting to rent an apartment at this location. The office workers were consistently rude and unhelpful throughout my interaction. We believe that everyone deserves fair and respectful treatment, regardless of their background. I hope this review serves as a cautionary note for others considering renting here.

The worst apartment I ever lived in. 1- the walls are so thin you hear the neighbors voice all the time, you can also hear everything in the bedroom 2- Whenever your neighbor walk the ceiling makes a noise on every step. 3- Trash should be place in the compactor which breaks frequently and you have to hold trash in your apartment until they fix it. 4- the apartment building smells bad all the time. 5- they don’t give you back the deposit and they charge for damages that was not done by you 6- Maintenance always leave the area where they wok dirty and they leave trash 7-they charge you even if you gibe the a notice for leaving at the end of your lease if you don’t tell them in person at least a month ahead of your lease dead line I don’t recommend this place.

There should be negative ratings for Maintenance and Lydia. I have raised a maintenance request for Washer which is not working since sep end. I have raised a service request on sep 30,2023 and no-one came to diagnose from Cherry Tree. After so many follow ups Lydia called me today and rudely she is telling they will come to diagnose on Thursday but nothing guaranteed when it will be fixed. When I have asked what is the SLA for this to be fixed she is rudely telling Cherry Tree is under staff and they will just try to diagnose and can’t commit when it will be fixed. I have asked is there any SLA like 3 months to re order it or what is the timeline. She is rudely telling we have only 2 maintenance staff and can’t guarantee whether it will be fixed or not. I had to tell her don’t be rude and listen your conversation how you talk to tenant. She is telling she is property manager. If I am paying rent on time can’t I expect a service and polite behavior from Lydia. Except Lydia all other members are polite.
