The best Italian food I've had so far in and around Gloucester. The starters, main courses and deserts are all tasty and well presented, without excessive grease or sweetness. The staff is friendly, respectful and prompt. I do wish they had one or two more vegetarian pizza choices, but even so I've enjoyed both of my meals here and I'm very likely to come again in the near future.

Brilliant little place nice food. Music was a little old and outdated like listening to dad's car soundtrack. But staff pleasent and food good for money. Milk alternatives would be nice

First time visiting and as good as the recommendations. Says everything that it was packed at 6pm on a Friday. Great atmosphere and great food and the staff are a credit to the place. Brilliant place to eat

Very pleasant Italian restaurant in the town centre with loads of parking nearby. Menu is extensive, prices reasonable, food excellent and service prompt and friendly. Recommended.

Had a lovely meal here with friends who are celebrating 50 years of marriage this year. The food and service was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The restaurant is obviously very popular so would advise booking in advance for a table. I highly recommend eating here, it's a shame it's so far from my home but we will certainly arrange with our friends to eat here again when we next visit them.

Incredibly busy restaurant offering Italian style food. We booked, others were turned away. This place is clearly very popular. The waiting staff are superb. Three young ladies welcomed, recommended and tended to the whole restaurant in a manner so professional that they could have been French. I shared a generous plate of deep fried seafood, asparagus and artichoke... Crunchy batter round quality ingredients, piping hot and a good starter . The mains were not as good. Over cooked risotto with stodgy rice standing up on the plate. Saved by the excellent taste.. blue cheese and pear with slices of crunchy under ripe pair along with some beetroot to garnish... I rescued the fish with some reasonable olive oil, the waitress scooped on some parmesan and with a good twist of black pepper the rice tasted good. But an Italian would not of recognised the dish. Similarly the carbanara sauce came thick with cream and over cooked pasta... But at least the cream was advertised on the menu. Again, an Italian wouldn't recognise this dish, but mum enjoyed it. Although the food lacks authenticity, the staff are wonderful and it is reasonably priced... Bookings are clearly needed as it was full of local people... The chef knows what his customers like... Don't come here expecting al dente rice or pasta, but come for tasty food in a bustling trattoria.

This restaurant is so in the wrong place, the food was outstanding as was the service. A lovely family run place with a little personal touch. The decor could be freshened up a little but the food certainly made up for it. They were quite busy even on a Monday evening but this may be because there doesn't seem to be much in Stonehouse. Visit this place (restaurant only, not Stonehouse).

Fantastic evening meal here, food , ambience and service were great. Highly advise booking in advance, I've not seen many restaurants where people are prepared to queue... Thin that says a lot about it. Pictures attached, Starters , pork ribs & whitebait. Mains, mushrooms risotto & duck fettuccini. Dessert, Sicilian lemon tart & tiramisu. Highly recommend a visit.

We took my brother here today for lunch for his 80th birthday and would highly recommend it. The service was great, the food was delicious and the whole atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff were lovely and brought my brother some complimentary ice cream with a candle on and sang Happy Birthday to him. We will definitely go there again when visiting my brother in Stonehouse.

Beautiful Italian food - always amazing service! Picked up a takeaway from there at the weekend and the waiter helped carry the food to my car which was very sweet of him & it was freezing out! Food is always spot on and prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend

Lovely quality meal with the good lady. Had the calzone, man sized portion but full of flavour. Inner was moist, crust was crispy, could not ask for more. Service was awesome as always. Took very good care of us once again.

What a lovely little restaurant, a short distance walk from the Stonehouse Court Hotel where we were staying. It was very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent and the food was some of the best Italian food I have eaten. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely family lunchtime meal. The food was very fresh & good quality. We have no complaints whatsoever.
