Every time I visit the region I make sure to come to this place. It has amazing works of local artist and craftsman. The expositions are separated in different rooms and because the place is huge you can easily spend few hours looking at great masterworks. For me it's just impossible to leave from there empty-handed​.

Unique place! was lucky to visit during one local fair few years back...found some beautiful treasures: copper earrings, leader bag and many more!!! This summer I brought some friends with me and we were again lucky as the first hall had ceramics from local artists, we fell in love with different pieces and left with lots of them for home and for presents. TIP: talk to the staff/ladies working there, they know a lot and you may learn some interesting facts.

Interesting place but not very well maintained unfortunately. The crafts exhibited are beautiful but there is not much variety. It could be made more lively with events and workshops. In any case it is worth a visit.

The National Exhibition of Art Crafts and Arts - Oreshak is the only one in the country, in whose exhibition halls are displayed unique objects of folk artistic craftsmanship, made by prominent masters from all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria. The entire exhibition complex is located in a wonderful park of 50 acres. The exhibition has nine exhibition halls with a total exhibition area of ​​4200 sq. M. Here more than 40 years of tradition and modern art go hand in hand. Today, the National Exhibition is a modern and functional facility that can present national and European art and realize its goal of becoming a European center of craftsmanship.

This a unique place full of extraordinary Bulgarian art pieces. It is worth the time to visit this museum. You can also buy most of the crafts which is very amazing.

It is a bit disappointing to say it is the national centre. The displays are a little bland, and no explanation is offered- neither in Bulgarian nor English. Also, despite it being a Saturday afternoon, there were no demonstrations as stated on the website, in fact the place was almost completely empty of either visitors or staff. You can see the same objects at other museums, where they also had better descriptions and displays. Overall I wouldn't bother going again

Extremely beautiful place you can see different works. The tour guide was on a level, he explained in quite a lot of detail.

An interesting place to spend time; On-site, there is an opportunity to make clay pottery by oneself, as well as work in a woodworking workshop (more of an attraction for younger visitors). There is also a souvenir shop available and an exhibition of ceramics from various countries.
