The atmosphere is nice. I mean, you're on the river, so it is lovely. Be aware that some of the tables and chairs are quite low with zero back support. Keep in mind that when reserving, you might want to request if you need a real table and chairs. The food is quite good. However, it was quite expensive for what amounted to appetizers to share, soup and salad, or a sandwich. All Ala cart. That's it, by the way, no significant meal choices at the time of this review. Again, the food is very good, though I question their options marked gluten-free. The drink menu is extensive and all were very good. Service was absolutely excellent, period. Overall, nice stop, but bring your big wallet and your smaller appetite.

Beautiful views of the water! Unique dishes! Stunning decor! We felt like family when we arrived and were quickly seated in the joyous festivities of the "soft" grand opening of this restaurant. The lower level adjacent to the river walk is opened with a nice coctail, appetizer, and small plate fare menu to offer something for everyone to satisfy their hunger. The lively vibe, upbeat music and friendly staff make this a sure place to enjoy your evening. Stop by and check out Stuart's new Waterfront dining spot! I'm so happy I did. I will be back! Back again and enjoying the food, beverages, atmosphere and especially the view!

There is nothing negative to say about this new restaurant! From the upscale atmosphere, to the unmatched food quality, this place is going to be the new go-to spot in Downtown Stuart. Our amazing server Patty recommended the calamari for us as an appetizer, and it was probably the best I've ever had. The manager was also very nice and accommodating. We wanted to move to a section where we could see the TV's but wanted to still keep Patty as our server. The manager let us move and still had Patty serve us without hesitation. When we received the bill, we were shocked as it was not as high as we thought it was going to be, compared to when we dine at some of the other restaurants in downtown. If you're looking for an affordable spot to dine and drink with unbeatable views of the river, Waterfront is the place to go. We will definitely be back!

Great food and service on second day after opening. Was great to see the owners out and about interacting with the patrons on such a crucial day. Will definitely be back!

Just what Downtown Stuart needed! Definitely will be recommending to friends and family. The ambiance was not what anyone could expect and is a must see restaurant. With a really cool open water view! Elizabeth was my bartender and filled me in with the upcoming renovations and menu options. The Burger with the Bacon Jam that she said was going to be great didn't disappoint and the food came out in a timely manner and served hot. Definitely will be back with friends to experience it some more! - Not Pet Friendly as of yet. - Restrooms available Downstairs. - Boat Dock Access. - Gluten Free Options on Menu. - Waterfront View. - Casual or Date night Attire. - Renovations for upstairs soon to open! - Personal parking lot no valet yet.

The place is absolutely beautiful, no denying that. Bartender was good but they all seemed a little distracted so not very attentive or warm. Mussels we got were good but the amount of salt on the crust and then in the marinara was intense. Had to drink water. But it was still good. Drinks were nice. I've been here before and food was delicious. Burger is amazing. Overall I really like Waterfront but it seems downtown is filling up exclusively with pricey restaurants. I hope this place doesn't choose to follow Boathouse and add the gratuity tax because I will not ever come back if they do.

Good, not great. The place definitely looks cool and has an attractive vibe, our server was nice too. The food needs some work though. We had burgers, crabcake sandwiches and tacos and all of us concluded those could be a bit less dry, even if generally everything was tasty. I can speak more for the tacos - I'd add the sauce either at the bottom too (now it's only at the top) or layer it halfway through the meat. The fries were absolutely amazing, and so were the drinks. I'm happy to come back after a while or when the upstairs opens. The place is not perfect but has potential. As for gluten free situation... since I'm able to survive a bit of cross-contamination I didn't ask and simply ordered corn tacos, feeling fine. I do believe that there's nothing gluten free dedicated though. Advise for owners: it's 2023, it should be a standard to mark the gluten free options in the menu, and if you cannot make it celiac-friendly simply add that information clearly at the bottom or sth. Celiacs won't be mad at you once they visit (assuming you also publish that information on your website) and gluten free sensitive people will be glad they will know what they can order upfront. Plus, as I said, it's freaking 2023, it's really BASIC INFORMATION in the menu now.

Beautiful outdoor restaurant (The inside was closed). Be prepared to wait a long time for your food and drinks. Took 15 min for a server to greet the table, 20 min for drinks, and 50 min for food. I'm not sure what is happening with the kitchen, but we were not the only table that was waiting a long time for service and food. Some of the food items are wonderful, but others fall short. The calamari and egg rolls are fantastic, but the shrimp tacos (no taste and filling) and short rib grilled cheeses (very little cheese) were underwhelming. Take note that the oysters are priced individually (3.50 each), and the servers need to ring them up separately, nothing stated on the menu. The drinks sound amazing, but sometimes miss the ingredients listed on the menu. For example, the bourbon bumblebee should have processco, but the bar was making them with a dry brut. I think some education for the bar on making the listed drinks is needed. Since the restaurant is still fairly new, I'll give them another try in about 6 months. I just hope these reviews are being considered.

They were quite busy when we went, but our waiter was AMAZING. Very apologetic for the wait on our food. The drinks we all got were amazing. And the steamed FL claims were 100% worth the wait, they were spectacular, I HIGHLY reccomend them. The manager was also very nice, checked on us a few times, asked us if we needed anything. Overall a wonder experience.

As a local of over 20 years who lives and works in Downtown Stuart, I was overjoyed when it was announced that Waterfront would be taking over the old Mulligans. Without a doubt, the renovations to the space are top notch, with beautiful views overlooking the river, but that is all you're really paying for at the end of the day. Although I had previously visited Waterfront for drinks and appetizers at the bar, this was my first time being seated at a table for lunch, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement, especially given that it was clearly a slower day for them based on all the empty tables. Call me crazy for expecting that after being seated and ordering drinks, it would not take nearly 20 minutes to receive them; additionally, we had placed our food order at the same time as our drinks, which took so long to be brought out that I had to ask to have my order boxed to-go because the wait to actually eat my lunch ate up the entirety of my one hour lunch break! Sorry, but nothing on their already limited menu could possibly take an hour to prepare (MAYBE if they were swamped with reservations, but as I mentioned, it was a ghost town during my visit). When we expressed our dissatisfaction with how long everything was taking, our server responded with the explanation that "everything is prepared fresh", which is why it took so long. Sorry again, but how is "preparing food fresh" any different from what any other downtown Stuart restaurant is doing (aside from the fact that neighboring restaurants may be able to do it in a much more reasonable amount of time)? Overall, Waterfront is a good place to go if you want a nice atmosphere to enjoy a drink. Waterfront is also worth a visit if you don't mind waiting over an hour for three tiny tacos that come with a side of chips for $18 (heads up guacamole is an extra $3).

Amazing waterfront restaurant. Cool Vibe. Modern. Cozy. Love it. Riley was our server today. Great person, friendly, attentive! We just had snacks so cannot review food at this time. Waterfront table view is outstanding. Cozy couches and chairs great for happy hour or a Saturday afternoon. Go check it out.

Have been here several times, it's like a resort atmosphere for Stuart...the new owners have done an astounding job of turning the place around...seating and atmosphere is literally the best in the area and most places in Jensen even...their drinks are ridiculously good and their food is incredible! Even the staff is incredible...we had Monica and Jessica who were literally on top of everything for the hours we spent there! And even had management stop to see us both times to make sure...Chris and Kim, very well done and we will certainly see you soon!!

My friends and I had lunch there today. We were seated outside, and the renovation is remarkable. If you recall its previous decor you are in for a treat, it has been totally re-done. The outdoor seating offers two options, low seating for drinks and high tops for dining. The menu is limited, there is only one option for vegetarians, however since it is new I anticipate they will expand the menu. I had a salad, which was excellent but too small for a main course. My friends ordered the salmon BLT which came with fries and tacos served with a side of chips, but no salsa, they reported the food was excellent. We will return when the front is open, the staff report it is expected to open in mid-September. Until then outdoor dining is available.

This was our first visit back since the remodel and we were blown away at how the place has changed, completely breathtaking in every way. Great experience from how we were greeted at the host stand to the very comfortable chairs with a spectacular view. Our waitress Jessica was extremely attentive and warm, sharing her menu favorites along with her recommendations on where to stop next in our tour of the area. She made us feel welcomed and missed until we return. This will be a place we will always come back to and invite others to join..

Patty was terrific and took the time to make several great recommendations. It was so great to recognize her from when she used to work at Mulligans many moons ago. She is so fun!! Food was amazing! The only downside is not having salsa for the chips.

My friends & I had an amazing time here. First off the atmosphere is great. Right on the water with a beautiful view. Our server TOMMY was THE BEST! He was extremely outgoing & super attentive. He recommended the best food. We got cornbread skillet, Moroccan cigars, & charcuterie board. Also lobster bisque & french onion soups. Such delicious food! Tommy made the experience even better! Bob the manager was awesome. He went table to table checking on all the guests & making sure we were okay. He was extremely friendly as well. I am looking forward to bringing my husband here. We will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere - on the water and such a pretty view with a nice breeze! Jessica was our waitress and she was amazing! She suggested the Bali breeze (tastes like an unfrozen pina colada) and the armed forces draft beer! We had the shrimp tacos, guac, burger and Moroccan cigars, crème brûlée (has a mocha taste to it but still delicious)! All the food was delicious!

First and foremost the service here is absolutely incredible. I cannot for the life of me remember our severs name but he has been there I believe he said since February. He was attentive and made great cocktail suggestions as well. Now lets get to the food: the food was INCREDIBLE. I've never had so much lobster in a lobster bisque, massive chunks of claw and tail meat, enough for a big bite of meat with nearly every spoonful. The clams served with the bread baked over top is not only beautiful but delicious (maybe a little more garlic) and the seafood beignet were more like a fritter but absolutely delicious. Wish we had room to try more because everything else on the menu looks phenomenal as well. This will absolutely be a regular stop when we are in the area.

Best new gem in Stuart!!! This place is amazing and located downtown right on the Riverwalk. Only the bar/lounge area is open now but we’ll take it! There is plenty of space and tables for dinner, appetizers and cocktails. The bar area has been completely renovated and it is a beautiful, hip space.. The food is outstanding and we cannot wait for the restaurant to open. The Lobster Bisque was yummy with nice chunks of lobster. I HIGHLY recommend the Dynamite Scallops but all of the food we have had is great. (I’m looking at you short rib tacos!) The staff is also fantastic and Jessica is the BEST!!! Jessica not only does a wonderful job but she is great for suggestions and also making your meal an enjoyable experience. She is always there when you need her but she does not hover. We love you Jessica!!!! Go for the view and be amazed by the food and service! Enjoy!

Let me first start out with the food was great! Atmosphere and interior design awesome. But got seated and it took an hour and half just to get drinks and an appetizer. Had to pretty much serve ourselves by getting up and ordering any drinks from the bar and bothering wait staff just to even get waters brought over who were serving other tables not even in our section. I can tell other guest in our area were dealing with same thing. We get you're new but if it’s that bad I’d rather be told there’s a wait or we just can’t take anyone else at this time. Always try supporting local spots but this is why I usually go to Jupiter instead of this area

We arrived earlier than reservation and were accommodated without any issue. Drinks were on point, appetizers were delicious! Our server , Patty, was wonderful! Entrees had mixed reviews by group- but did not impact overall experience. Great addition to local restaurants!
