Awesome place to be in summers in UK - perhaps the only place where you can get in the water and swim across. Life is beautiful in this part of the world and you can enjoy the full day if not more at this place. Happening place for beach lovers. Lots of things to do in this place.

Very nice place with lots to do for the whole family. Always something to do whatever the weather is. It is located in a great location with lots to do,see, and eat nearby, but it's not for a full day more for like a a bit of spare time to fill.

First time ever in Bournemouth yesterday and what a fantastic town it is. When you go to the sea from your faces with the magnificent pier. I had to get myself entry. The cost was £1.50. Great idea it will all help with up keep of the pier. As you can see in the pictures below you get some great views. Nice walk up and down.

Nice place to run. Seagulls dragging plastic bags and other stuff from the bins around. You can meet dozen of people with metal detector in the morning on the beach. Nice place for exercises till the actual gym opens around 6:30am. It's gets super busy during the day time. I would recommend to avoid visiting this, there are nicer places in half an hour walk distance

Very beautiful clean and long pier, with stunning views across the bay with ample seating. Few shops are available on the pier itself. The beach is also very clean and beautiful, it’s worth a visit for sure. Walk down the pier to listen to the waves and watch the sunset for a mesmerising time.

Really nice environment! Great walk along the beach! Full of dogs and families it's a great place to go for an afternoon stroll. It kinda resembles a wannabe Santa Monica pier 😂 it gives American vibes! My dog enjoyed the pup ice cream and the sunshine and sand!

Nice fireworks display every Friday 10pm throughout August, lively and bustling atmosphere throughout the day / evening. Beaches either side of Pier can get very busy during peak holiday season. Less busy between Bournemouth and Sandbanks if you want more space ⛱️

Been to Bournemouth several times but first time on the pier. We were doing the Xmas trail 👣. Lots of fun questions all the way around the pier and lit Xmas trees. Also saw a stunning sunset and lots of surfers. The pier has a restaurant which we didn't go into but looked great so definitely one for our next visit 👌.

Difficult to write a review of a pier, when its function is to protrude into the sea. It has to be said that it does this very well and in the main, is intact….Wood makes it easy for walking and not falling into the sea. That said - after 9am a “toll” applies and becomes expensive for the pleasure.

Only ever been once before our latest trip and will 100% be back again. My favourite place to visit and well worth the 7-8 hours round trip! Clean, great atmosphere and beautiful scenery 💕

Bournemouth Pier we didn't enter because you had to pay but the beach 🏖️ was full of people, beautiful weather, lovely fish& chips we had ,lots of places to sit down and eat or just have a drink by the beach. Beach 🏖️ was full of family so family friendly, has outside showers if you need it and public toilets near by. All in all I would recommend it to visit 💯⭐

I spent one week holiday and it was really good. The beach is open for everyone. The beach was clean and, there was a promenada for morning walking and running , good restaurants on the beach.

One of the best beach in UK the sand is so nice and clean. There is an aquarium on the beach as well. We really enjoyed in Beaumont garden where they have very nice flowers and green belt to enjoy. We park our car by Bath Road car park which is very close to the beach. We enjoy Royal Air Force flight simulator by the beach. There are plenty of options for ice cream which are available everywhere across the beach. Bournemouth peer have good games arcadian and little toy stalls.

The winter gardens were still a delight to see even this late in the year. Lots of places to sit and rest too. The centre has a variety of shops and it's no problem spending money there !😊

It's a busy area all year round, but the end of summer feeling at this time of year is always a bit sad. The long flat sea front and the pier are always good for a walk and an ice cream, so it's always worth a visit.

Actually went there to fish off the pier which we were told was fine in the evening. If you get there after 5.30 you do mot have to pay to walk along the pier. Only issue was the Jet skiers who have an entire ocean to play around in but chose to do there antics in front of the pier.. Be aware of this if you plan on going fishing.

It is a beautiful place to enjoy with your family and friends. There are many benches to sit and enjoy the sea ⛵.Some ice-cream corners and gift shops are also available nearby.Best time to go on summer 🌞.

Amazing Landscape with so much serenity and peace. I would rate it higher than Brighton Pier too . Shame I visited during winters but too many fun activities during summer and cleanliness make it a go-to place .

One of the most beautiful piers I have seen in UK. Like every pier, you will find shops for ice cream and snacks along with a play area and gaming zone. The view is mesmerizing on a good day. It lies exactly at the center with beach on both the sides. It has an entry ticket of £1.5. Do visit.

  • 4/5 Ammar N. 8 months ago on Google
Lovely pier with decent place to have coffee/cake. There is a entry point ticket. Pier is well maintained. However overall beach in over crowded and I would avoid specially in peak summer.

First time I'd been to Bournemouth Pier and beach, and I really enjoyed it. Luckily the weather was beautiful, so I had a nice walk up and down the beach. Plenty of activities kept me busy so I was really happy. Definitely go back at some point.

Great day, sun. Welcome us all with warm rays of light with care and love. The sea welcomed us with cool peace. The goats 🐐 welcome us with their friendly warm gentle loving ❤️ smiles. Blessed are those who leave the beach ⛱️ clean and tidy for us all. Let's heal the world 🌎 together with the supreme gods' light.

Nice a chilled. Little bit packed as the weather was beautiful. But spacious, juice pier, good games and rides for the kids. Lots snacks, suagr doughnuts, fish and chips and other foods. Nice little town to go if you get board if the beach. Pubs close by for those drinkers. But I doubt it.. life guards giving notifications..

It must surly be one of Britain's finest Tourist spots. You could spend a week just exploring the Pier area. There's something for everyone hear.

Great views looking back at the shoreline or out to see and nice walk at night when the beach is lit up by street lamps and the peirs lit up with lights from the amusements, there's a zip wire on the pier to the beach, a restaurant, rock walls and arcade located on the pier so plenty to do and see. Free during winter but a fee in to walk down in the summer months.

  • 5/5 Adewale A. 1 year ago on Google
The pier complements the experience and gives one an extra reason or fun thing to do at the beach. There is an amusement arcade with various games options and a ferris wheels. We've been up the ferris wheels a couple of times and we love it. The view of the beach and the surrounding area is quite stunning.

Walked from Shell Bay to Bournemouth pier. So it's nice to find the eatery on the pier is pretty good and provides timely service and good food options. There is a ride at the end of the pier, but as this was out of season, this was closed. Ice cream was expensive as this is the main attraction on the Bournemouth beach.

  • 3/5 Robbie A. 1 year ago on Google
The beach surrounding this beach is beautiful but pretty much everything was closed. We paid to go on the pier and wasn't advised that the rides on the other side was closed. I'm sure it would be a fun place for the family If things were open.

I would have loved this place if I hadn't visited it on festival day. It's a nice Sandy beach with a coast watch. Lots of eating options near the pier. Car park can be a challenge on busy days.

Visited for a evening stroll and play on the beach. Nice clean and tidy beach. Especially after what i imagined would of been a very busy weekend. Shops to buy beach supplies (needed as was a last minute trip). Also a small arcade, toilets and a chip shop all along the front! 😄

As piers go it's a bit short. It's £1.30 for adults which is fine as it helps the upkeep of the pier It's free later in evening. A few kiddies rides at the end but the high light has to be the zip line to the shore I think it's the only one in the world. pier to shore. Well worth a visit the view is fantastic.

  • 3/5 Marcus S. 1 year ago on Google
If you need hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. It is almost impossible to escape. The pier costs admission. So if you want to enjoy the view from the water, you have to pay. Currently 1.40 pounds for adults. All attractions on the pier cost extra, of course. The view is great, though. You can see the whole beach. The beach itself is fine sand.
