AUKTIONHAUS EPPLI: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. They accepted a EU 2,000 bid from me the day before an auction (6th October 2017) and confirmed the bid by speaking to me on the telephone, and then didnt apply it to the sale. The item was sold for EU670 to someone else. The auction house DID NOT apologise, but suggeseted that I may have "better luck" next time. More likely that I will need a MIRACLE to succeed in buying from EPPLI , if they take a bid in writing, confirm on the telephone and then sell the Lot to someone else for 1/4 of the price.

Great items, but if you are a bidder from the US do not bother with them. They charge an exorbitant amount to ship anything. Buy something for 60 Euros and it will cost you 40 Euros to ship. A bit absurd.

A good action hause with good reputation

I have had great experiences with the Eppli house. I have a collection of antique jewelry and finding jewelry that i want to purchase is a joy for me. I recently purchased 10 Limoges Boxes. Shipping has been easy and they have done everything in their power to make sure I have a tracking number. I lived in Stuttgart as a kid, and this brings back memories.

It is hard to find an honest auction house in EU. This one is recommended by me . I bought several watches from them and the items were exactly as described and delivered promptly. Eppli is an exception in European Auction industry filled with crooks, liars and caveat emptors.

We got a gorgeous marble chess set through here that was crafted beautifully in Mexico that we now have on display with our crystal and fine china. An absolutely perfect addition!
