No service of breakfast although was previously communicated that it will be serviced... Non credit worthy. Definitely a disaster on your plan of travel and will destroy your day. Come here to service yourself and enjoy your work stay

Very cozy, clean hotel. Great location, atmosphere and outstanding breakfast and staff. If I would ever come back to Iceland I would definitely come back to this hotel. And I have no hesitation to recommend to anyone.

Really lovely peaceful energy in this laid back guest house. The beds were really comfortable and the room very warm which was so nice to return to after a day out in the cold. The host was also very sweet and we enjoyed talking about her, she had some great recommendations too. Also really appreciated the breakfast to start off our day!

We stayed in June 2019. We were greeted by the owner who was lovely. There is parking outside the guest house. I would say when pulling up it doesn't look as great as the inside: scandavian style with spider plants accenting tables. The inside is lovely and beautiful decorated. Comfy beds. Very clean. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and kept ever so neat and tidy this can be seen throughout the hotel. Your provided with towels and toiletries. The breakfast was cold meats, cheeses, jams, spreads, selection of breads, salad bits and smoked salmon. No TV in the room not that this bothered us. Would have loved a kettle in the room or access to tea making facilities but this is personal preference hardly a need. The wifi is not great, I reckon a booster will help. Great stay very clean and comfy. A lovely enclosed balcony that you can sit on as well in the sunny evenings. You can pay cash or card.

Small family b&b in a wonderful position, with clean and comfortable room. Good and various breakfast, maybe with more typical products would be almost perfect.

Nice, simple family-run hotel near the harbor and great restaurants. Lára was a great host and made a very nice breakfast spread, which is included in the reasonable price to stay here. Would definitely recommend, especially if you go to Narfeyrarstofa restaurant for dinner! Delicious!

We stayed here August 2017. The hotel was very conveniently located close to the harbour in Stykkishólmur and perfect for exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The staff really were exceptional and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I damaged my walking boots and Lara gave me a pair of boots to save me buying a new pair in Iceland which was prohibitively expensive. The rooms were spotlessly clean and breakfast basic but very nice. What made the stay 5 star was Lara and her daughter who treated us almost like family friends.

Very nice and accommodating owner. Very clean facilities. Excellent breakfast (the home made flapjacks were very good!). We had a lovely stay. I would highly recommend this place as a couple, family or even on your own.

This guesthouse has potential, however, missed the mark on several points. Room was freshly painted and smelled like chemicals. Bathroom was tiny with a shower that could barely be called a shower. —More of a faucet on an open wall, lacking any barrier to keep the water in. There were boxes and construction materials in the hallway. Looks like the owner is in the process of a renovation but wasn’t quite ready for guests.
