Sat down for a dessert and coffee before our flight. Ordered a mascarpone dessert which looked better than it was - it was light and average. Cheesecake was ok. Asked for a coffee but we were told she wasn’t allowed to serve coffee at that time (8.30pm) - restaurant policy, not Italian law. I suspect they don’t want people just ordering coffee on its own as they can make more money selling food and wine, but we ordered food so we couldn’t understand the policy!

Very bad experience! 👎 The waiters are nasty and rude. I was trying to sit to have a drink at this bar at the airport, but the waiter shouts to me in the Sardinian dialect, with an angry face. 😠 I absolutely would not recommend to anyone!

Unless you are Italian please don’t go here. Tried with my best Italian to order myself, my husband and toddler some food and drinks at the counter to be laughed at and shouted at by 3 men and 1 woman with angry pointed fingers to effectively eff off and go to another coffee shop, while they all laughed with each other. I was polite and really upset. Another employee came over and said in English that they don’t serve coffee at this time as it’s no longer breakfast (there is a big coffee machine behind them). I said I was ordering food too and she took us to a seat, and I ordered. I noticed on the menu that breakfast stops at 10.30, it was 10am. I said as it was still breakfast could we order coffee? She was lovely and said yes, but they don’t like making it. Other people were being served coffee but all non-Italians we saw were being told no. My husband was not happy to stay there after the staff behaviour but options for food and a seat were limited at the airport & my son was hungry. We ate without incident and I went to pay. The lady at the till was the rude lady from the counter. On the bill was an item that when translated was not food or drink so I didn’t recognise it. She ignored me twice but I kept asking and she shouted ‘it’s *expletive* juice’ - so loud all could hear and caused fits of giggles from some drunk teenagers the rude guys were flirting with. If you enjoy experiencing xenophobia, being treated like scum and paying extortionate prices for the pleasure - this is the place for it. Photos of some of the rude staff so you know who to avoid. I would give 0 if I could. Wanting to order a coffee and a muffin, and we did not have right to take a sit nowhere. We were sent from low tables, to the tall tables to finally got info that our order doesn't qualify for a right to sit in their space. Avoid.

'We can't sell you bottle of water or cornetto, because we only do table service'. And no tables available. Absurd

Horrible sandwich for a HUGE PRICE. Cant even chew the bread it’s so stiff. They don’t even care, they turn the back on you! Terrible employees and bad service!

Had breakfast and the croissant was disgusting, not sure how they can serve such food. Service was ok though

We got a Latte Macchiato and a Caffee Americano together 5,10 €. Good Price, very good Coffee and friendly Service. We will come back!
