First time bought set cakes here. I would like to say overall its delicious and will comment on sweetness. The cake and brownies is too sweet like i cant have more than 2 bites. Please reduce the usage of sugar. Thanks.

This was sadly a dissapointment. I was really looking forward to the cakes after seeing them advertised by KL Foodie's Instagram. I was lured by the beautifully crafted designs. Talk about Instagramable. But as the old saying goes "don't judge a book by its cover", after this experience the same should be said for cakes. Despite it's beautifully deceiving appearance, my second impression was "SWEET". Far too much frosting was used and it was so thick! Once you manage to fight through the thick sickly sweet frosting you're met with the cake itself, which honestly, is mediocre at best. The 50 cents muffins were ok.

Very reasonably priced bakes and taste good too. Have always been a fan of their brownies and chocolate cupcakes. For walk in / pick up, do take note that their store has relocated to the first floor of their previous ground floor store.

We bought 4 different cakes a box of creme.puffs and a few cup cakes and a box of mini pavlovas. We asked if the cakes are fresh and the staff said yes we bake fresh daily. It was so disappointing when we tried all the cakes and cupcakes to find out the cakes were dry and definitely not fresh. The pavlovas were all burnt and the brownies were also very dry and nit fresh. So 1st and last time we will be buying there. We are so sad they lied and their web page is totally false marketing

All desserts that they offer are really good especially their Brownies, Chocolate Muffins, Pavlova and also their speciality which is BabyCake. Those cute BabyCake with more than 9 flavors can be served to 2-3 people and it’s soo good plus you won’t waste any of it 👍🏻 They can also produce delicious custom cakes which I think really nice and freshly made from their own production kitchen with a top notch touch by their Deco team. Overall, Modernecks deserves a permanent space in my heart! ♥️

Nice cozy shop... Friendly staff... Affordable tasty cakes... Definitely recommended for anybody searching for small cakes for small celebration... Or even for self reward...
