Called Tok Bak to check if there was a lot still available for the next day and lucky enough there was! It was a beautiful site. We brought our dogs with us and luckily the available lot was the last plot along the river so we didn’t disturb the other campers with our dogs too much. The place also had a little path which led to a nice pool. The camping lots came with a water shower and pipe! There’s also two public toilets and a public shower! This is possibly the best campsite I’ve ever been to! However, just a little warning. There are lots of bush flies during the day, so please ensure that u bring sufficient repellants to keep them at bay - especially around food. Other than that, this place is still an absolute gem and Tok Bak has been an amazing host! Will definitely come back! Thank you for having us, Tok!

I am stingy in giving 5 ⭐ to my review. In rare occasion will I allow the epitome of satisfaction be accorded... at least in my view. Tok Bak camp site is not for hard core adventurers or someone looking to practice his survival skills. It is a relaxed atmosphere. They do have the normal activities like tube rafting, jungle trekking or simply soaking yourself in the chilly river or just enjoying a scrumptious barbecue at night. The roaring river will lull you to sleep. It is safe even it is about 1km from the nearest orang asli settlement and yes even the rough off road is only 6 to 10 minutes you have to come in 4x4, MPV or SUV will not do. The operator, En Aidi is a very nice and generous guy, he allowed us to use the safe house in case of emergency, heavy rains or storm. Will definitely come again, In sya Allah.

Tok Ba’s host was so amazing, he really did go all the way out to make us feel comfortable, through both his actions and kind words. We truly enjoyed ourselves here, highly recommended for family, we were 3 families with 7 kids, youngest being 3 years old.

Tok Bak Campsite is one of the great camp site area. It currently has 3 TokBak Campsite. We Got campsite no 2. Tok Bak camp site is located behind orang asli houses. We met Aroy, such a friendly guy. He lead us to the campsite and show our camp spot. Tok Bak camp site is very challenging to get especially with lowered car because it need to doing some off-road stuff with car around 10 minutes. Better come with 4x4. The campsite has all the necessity, such as safe house, surau spot, clean toilet, bamboo table for us, and shower 🚿. Not very challenging if you guys seek some. One of the best getaways from the hectic city life in Tg Malim and about 80km from KL. At this private vicinity, you can experience and feel the calmness of the secondary jungle surroundings with the gentle fresh breeze from the green canopy above. The coolness from the small stretch of the rocky stream branch of Sungai Dara that flows through the land is a spectacular view. The Tok Bak Campsite area is an acre of land with various fruit trees, bamboo trees and other type of shrubs that have been well preserved for decades. It is very suitable for weekend campings, get-togethers and whole of outward bound activities. There is a single unit of a kampong style home stay that is suitable for one family yet the open area of land is best for campgrounds and barbecuing. I have been a regular visitor to this campsite and the experience is very memorable. I entirely recommend it.

This Place is nice and clean. Only down side is the owner didn’t filter his guest lists or maybe he didn’t aware of what extend the guests can do to the camp site when the owner is not there. A bunch of 4x4 about 6-7 arrived in around 4am and high beam their spotlights to set up their tents while everyone was a sleep, also brought in a goat , yes a goat to slaughter in the river not far away from where all the kids were playing. We were all shocked because we thought that was their pet goat! They also brought along their atv and drive around when they arrived ! 😑😑mid night atv🤦‍♀️ As a camper, I always believed the campers will take care of the rubbish and always educate the kids not to litter, no even a pcs of tissue paper, to my surprise, their kids leave all the trash near the river, plastic wraps and bottles are all around! Sayangilah sungai kita, bang! susahkah nak kutip sampah sendiri ? In the night, they blasted their karaoke till almost 4am!! Great place to experience 4x4 light off road. En Aidi himself own a 4x4 which is available for rental. Tok Bak campsite definitely offer you a memorable experience where you can enjoy a large size pool area "lubuk buaya", walk through along the river and enjoy the tranquility of the camping area( campsite limited to number of pax). On future notes, please be extra carefull swimming at the large pool due to the extra depth and heavy current from the river flow. We went for water tubing but unware of the heavy current and large stone. Orang asli community are very nice and friendly. They even have mini shop inside the village providing food necessity. You can gave a visit incase you missed out some stuff. Keep it up the good work En Aidi!

My first camping experience and it turned out to be super awesome! The toilets were surprisingly clean! The camping areas also were clean. The river is nice, but campsite facilities could be better. The not so good: 1) It can be VERY crowded with more than 50 tents or so. 2) Only 5 toilets cum shower (3 near entrance, 2 in center) so the ratio is about 1 toilet : 40 pax (when it is VERY crowded) We had to queue to go to toilet and if there were people showering, the wait was longer. 3) Most sinks had no place to put plates, so washed plates need to be be placed on the ground. The output was exposed (instead of channelling it properly). That's why there were flies (apart from this place being a palm plantation area.) If you dont mind all these then just enjoy the nature.
