Not bad. Pretty easy trail. Just the rock part alittle challenging when getting down. Just a short note. Don't simply throw your rubbish here and there. Bring back your rubbish. It's sad to see that there are even used baby napkin hanging on one of the tree on the peak. Guess it's true that they say you can bring people out of the kampung but you can never bring their mindset out of the kampung.

90 minutes from KL. 1.5-2.5 hours hike up to first stop Gunung Dato for breathtaking views in the air. head to puncak 701 if you in for extra exercise and you will clock 14km with 8 hour hike. NO water source along the way so bring your 2.5L of water. leeches noticeable after gagak onwards so bring your insect repellents to spray those buggers

The place is well maintain by the forestry and you are required to pay RM5 at the counter. Parking is limited at the main area however there are open fields which you can park at a short distance away. This mountain is tough on the knee, I underestimated it a little especially the beginning part. It is pretty steep. Expect the same coming down as well with the rocky path. The view at the top is priceless. No regrets

Steep hiking, will take around 1.30 to 2 hours to reach top.. Moreover, if it's rained then it gets too slipper, so must wear proper hiking shoes

There is a beginner's mountain grandpa. There are those who have a hard grandfather's mountain. Okay for those who don't understand, beginner doesn't mean first time second time hiking. But it means that you are used to hiking at an easy level several times (at least 10 times). Because sometimes people say this is a beginner level, so even people who have never hiked want to go up. When he goes up he feels difficult because he is not always hiking. For sy gunung datuk for beginners. The track is challenging but easy. I went up for 1 hour 50 minutes. Clean toilets.

This is another beautiful hiking sport for the hikers. The difficulties I would say it's intermediate. If you enjoy sunrise, come early in the morning, if you enjoy sunset, come late in the evening. The view is surreal, makes all the effort to hike worth it.

There are several trails available and suitable for beginners. It took about 2 hours to reach the summit and the view is breathtaking. Do come during sunrise or sunset for a magical experience. There is a small fee imposed but the place is well maintained which makes it worth it. Highly recommended

Awesome view after 2km hike for elevation gain around 650m from the peak of Gunung Datuk. You can catch the sunrise and sunset here if you reached the peak at the correct moment. The view is superb in a clear day and you might lucky to see some sea clouds if night before is pouring. It's also windy on top here

Great peak. Really rewarding after non-stop hellish steep hike. The peak have camping site which can accommodate around 10 tents (maybe more)

Great place to relax. You can go for a hiking, have a picnic, camping, swim in the cool and crystal clear water. Going up the hill is quite a challenging task. Take along a hiking stick, will be very helpful. Also need to take enough water, spare shorts and pants and mosquito repellent/spray.
