(Translated by Google) Exceptional Reichl Palace. One of the most beautiful and certainly the most pronounced in this part of Europe. The most beautiful monument of construction made in the Art Nouveau style in Subotica, unique in the style of construction and in the beautiful colors that adorn this masterpiece of architecture. Without exaggeration, this is a building that you must visit if you are in Subotica (Original) Izuzetna palata Rajhl.

This Art Nouveau Palace is known to be one of the most beautiful and renowned Art Nouveau buildings in Serbia. It was constructed in 1904 as a family home for the Serbian-Hungarian architect Ferenc Raichle. Four years after Raichle moved in, he went bankrupt and the palace with all its furniture and art was sold at an auction. Since 1970 the building houses the Modern Art Gallery.

(Translated by Google) This magnificent Art Nouveau building, the Raichle Palace, was completed in 1904. Ferenc Raichle designed and constructed this building of unparalleled beauty for his own residential house.

(Translated by Google) The palace was designed and built very quickly in 1904 for Ferenc Raichle's family home and architectural office. The building is the architect's most significant work and is also a masterpiece of Art Nouveau. The architect could not live in the building for a long time because the cost of construction and several unsuccessful businesses went bankrupt so he left everything in 1906 to his creditors and moved to Szeged. Nowadays, the Modern Art Gallery and the Fine Arts Meeting are located in the building.

A beautiful Art Nouveau building, finished in 1904, designed by a renowned architect Ferenc Raichle as his own home. It was a museum from1948 to 1969, when it became a home for the gallery of contemporary art, then called "Likovni susret" (literally: "art meeting"). Since few years back, the gallery changed its name to "Savremena galerija" (Gallery of contemporary art). It hosts exhibitions and happenings worth seeing.

(Translated by Google) The exterior of the palace is superb, and represents one of the most magnificent buildings in Subotica, which is no small thing considering the competition. Inside the palace, in the period when I visited it, an exhibition of contemporary art was given, which was completely correct. The upper part of the palace was not open to visitors at that time.

(Translated by Google) In 1899, with the intertwining of knowledge and experience, in the same time as the European architectural trends in Subotica, their own structure and style construction began. The first Art Nouveau buildings in Szabadka were constructed by Ferenc Raichle J., Titus Mačković, Komor Marcell and Dezsővolek Jakab. Raichle is a new style trend that conquers Europe - the journey to the Art Nouveau world begins with the construction of two ground floor tenements. The façade and interior design of these houses suggests that Raichle was well acquainted with the new style blossoming in European cities. Before that, Raichle expressed his interest in Viennese Art Nouveau for the Gymnasium and the Austro-Hungarian Bank, although these buildings are mainly a baroque concept. In the coming years, a few new-style buildings were built, first in Raichle Palace. The conditions for building the palace are still unclear. From that time onwards, it seems almost unbelievable that Subotica could build up such a palace, thanks to Ferenc Raichle's creator and owner. Raichle had no patrons or sponsors to live with today's words. At that time, most of the most significant architectural works across Europe were dependent on the gift of patrons - not least women who were more receptive to new ideas. Raichle was in charge of the whole building industry. Perhaps this was the only way to design a building that suited its own inner art aspirations. The Raichle Palace is an exceptional creation of the Hungarian Art Nouveau building, with a unique structure of approx. ten years after the first new-style building in Brussels. The building is designed to meet the needs and needs of a well-seated, dynamic citizen who wants to live a social life. The spacious rooms, located on two levels (mezzanine and floor), are lavishly furnished with imaginative details, functionally arranged and serve specific purposes. Based on some of the preserved photographs, we know what kind of styling and artwork we have mentioned that demonstrated the sophisticated taste of the host. Though the building is in a house, but not stand alone, its scope and its façade dominate the whole street. The author consciously uses the opportunities provided by the site, and attaches great importance to the play of sunshine and shadow when designing the building. This specially sculptural plastic takes into account the place that can be admired in the full splendor of the building during a certain period of the day. The building faces the railway station in the depths of a rich pine tree line, so its façade closes the green "tunnel". The viewer faces the façade as a lively color and the lace-like whole of the player's forms. As we approach it gradually, the whole will come to us and one after the other, we will see the immeasurably measured color and form intensity details. The decorations of the façade are organically linked to the whole, logically emphasizing the shapes and surfaces that have a precisely defined purpose. The entrance is functional, man-made, commonly used for frequent use. Still, the stairs, the masterful forged iron gate, make the majestic. The bright colors of Zsolnay's pirogranite painted with fire, the smooth, sparkling mosaics and the wrought-iron sculptural facade look like a dream image. A bejárat funkcionális, emberléptékű, mindennapi, gyakori használatra alkalmazott. Mégis, a lépcsők, a mesterien kovácsolt vaskapu fenségessé teszik. A Zsolnay pirogranit tűzzel nemesített fénylő színei, a tarka, lendületes ívű mozaikok és a kovácsoltvas a szobrászian kialakított homlokzat felületén úgy hatnak, mint valami álomkép.
