(Translated by Google) St. Teresa's Cathedral (Serbian and Croatian: Katedrala Svete Terezije Avilske) is the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Subotica in Vojvodina. The patron saint of St. Teresa of Ávila. It was built between 1773 and 1779 in Baroque style. The building was designed by Pest architect Franz Kaufmann. Its organ was built in 1897 and renovated in 1997. In 1972-1973, the entire interior was restored to commemorate the 200th anniversary. 29 April 1974 VI. Pope Paul raised him to the rank of basilica minor. Length 61 m, width 26 m; the ship is 18 meters high and the towers 64 meters high. Between the two towers on the roof is the statue of the Virgin Mary. There has been a crack between the two towers since the Basilica of Subotica was built. Built between 1776 and 1779 in late Baroque style, the 61-meter-long and 26-meter-wide building was built on loose soil, and so far no attempt has been made to eliminate the crack. Over the past 100 years, the two towers have moved about 15 centimeters apart. With the support of the Hungarian Government, the building was restored in 2017. It was thought that if 8-8 iron pipes were dropped eight meters deep into the base of a tower, it would hold the weight of 32,000 tons as the towers press each. When the 13th iron pipe was placed in the ground, there was a dramatic change: the crack widened much faster than before. At this point, work stopped and in March this year, a new method of injecting synthetic resin was used to prevent further sinking of the building. This was announced at a press conference at the Bishopric of Subotica. Petar Santrač, construction supervisor, Subotica: “With this technology, we will inject about 180 points, 90 points at one point and 90 points around the other tower with such resin. At each of these injection points, there are 9 injection tubes and approximately 18-20 liters of injection material is injected at 200 bar. ” Not only did the towers move away from each other, they also moved backwards toward the temple ship. The next step is to tie the two towers together with a built-in concrete ring. Injecting the resin into the soil and making the concrete ring costs € 400,000. Slovak and Hungarian professionals carry out highly skilled work. Mirko Štefković, bishopric secretary, Subotica: “These works, which we have begun in March, late March, March 20, are planned to be completed on June 26. Thank goodness and we are very grateful that the whole work, the whole process, is funded by the Hungarian government, so we have received this great support through the Hungarian National Council. ” The interior renovation of the Subotica Basilica was completed at the end of last year. The Hungarian Government has donated approximately EUR 1 million for the renovation of the cathedral. No such reconstruction of the temple has been carried out in the South. (Original) Szent Teréz-székesegyház (szerbül és horvátul: Katedrala Svete Terezije Avilske) a Szabadkai egyházmegye püspöki széktemploma a vajdasági Szabadkán. Védőszentje Ávilai Szent Teréz. 1773-tól 1779-ig épült barokk stílusban. Az épületet Franz Kaufmann pesti építész tervezte. Orgonája 1897-ben épült, 1997-ben felújították. 1972–1973-ban a kétszáz éves évforduló emlékére teljes belső terét restaurálták. 1974. április 29-én VI. Pál pápa basilica minor rangra emelte. Hossza 61 m, szélessége 26 m; a hajó magassága 18, a tornyoké 64 m. A műgyanta befecskendezése a talajba, illetve a betongyűrű elkészítése 400 ezer euróba kerül. Szlovákiai és hazai szakemberek végzik a nagy szaktudást igénylő munkát. Mirko Štefković, püspökségi titkár, Szabadka: „Ezek a munkálatok, amiket most márciusban, március végén, március 20-tól elkezdtünk, úgy tervezzük, hogy június 26-án befejezzük. A Magyar Kormány a székesegyház felújítására összesen hozzávetőlegesen 1 millió eurót adományozott.
