I ordered Mutton Ghee Roast and Chicken Full joint. Both the meats were very dry as if they have been sitting there from morning. You need to do something and figure out something to serve your customers fresh food.
I was having dinner at Satti Babu Biriyani. We have placed an order for satti babu special biriyani and chicken fried pieces. Despite the anticipation generated by the influencers, the flavor was decent and didnt meet my expectations. The badam milk was also bland. The cost was reasonable. The location is hygienic, and the service was prompt. Because of its small size, it is difficult to find a place to eat. I would suggest a take away or order online. A good dining experience all around.
Visited this place recently and was really impressed by the taste of the food! The bagara rice is flavorful and served in a generous portion — perfect for sharing. However, I felt that the quantity of curries like chicken curry and prawns curry was a bit less compared to the rice, so it would be great if they could increase the portion sizes for those. The highlights for me were the badam milk and chicken kaju pakodi — both are absolutely delicious and worth trying! A couple of suggestions: • The dining area is quite small and doesn’t have air conditioning, so it can get a bit warm. Adding AC would definitely enhance the experience. • The raita and gravy were packed in sealed packets, which made them hard to open while eating. It would be much better if they were served directly by a waiter for convenience. Overall, the taste of the food makes up for these minor inconveniences. Looking forward to visiting again — hoping for some improvements next time!
I’ve been to SathiBabu Biryani and tried the Mutton bagara Biryani, Paneer bagara Biryani, and Badam Milk. All three were really good, no complaints about the taste. However, the major downside is the dining experience. The place is crowded every day, and the dining area is not well-maintained. Hygiene standards could be improved, and the overall restaurant setup needs work. If I had to rate just the food, I’d give it a solid 3.5/5. But for the dining experience, it’s a 2/5. Great for takeout, but not the best for dining in :)
Food is good. Tastes like made in home. Quality of biryani basmati rice is too good. We tried chicken fry biryani full and costs ₹250 for a single and ₹360 for Full. Reasonable prices. They also provoded chetnies, Biryani masala curry and Rahitha. I tried all and rathitha is delicious. But tried hard to tear the cover 😁😂. Package is too strong for me. Seating is okay. Because of conjusted area need to wait for dine in. My overall experience is good. Better to take away and eat in your home.
Chicken Joint Piece Biryani from Sattibabu Biryani at Uppal is super spicy and tasty! People may call it Pulav or Biryani ... it doesn't matter as long as the taste is good and you enjoy it. “What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.” #MysticalFoodie
Nice biryani center near uppal, the bagara rice taste is good and the gravy and the curd given is excellent, the ambience and the maintenance is good There is always a huge crowd here and to find a place to eat is a difficult task for anyone, that's why people tend to take parcels from here the quantity given in the parcel is worthy, the taste of the bagara rice both with the veg and non veg dishes is good in taste Street parking is available here and the management has to find a way for the parking apart from this issue all seems good here
I recently visited the Satti Babu Biryani branch in Uppal and ordered a few items: Chicken Fry Piece Biryani (Large) Satti Babu Dum Biryani Kaju Chicken Boneless Biryani Badam Milk Honestly, the taste was pretty average, and I’m not sure why there’s so much hype around it. The Satti Babu Dum Biryani was particularly disappointing—it tasted more like regular chili or mango pickle rice, and wasn’t anything special. The chicken fry piece was also bland with no flavor. The Kaju Chicken and Badam Milk were just okay. For reference, I’ve had Satti Babu biryani from the Moosapet branch before, and it was much better, so I was really let down by the taste and quality this time around.
It looks like mostly a take away place when see it and we had this delicious bagara rice with fried chicken at night last week.( Since it was closing time and sharing food I dint kinda get the taste then) So I decided to make my family taste this delicious bagara rice with chicken and ordered via Zomato. The chicken curry with bagara was out of the world and fry pieces were also yumm. What attracted me about this joint is that they displayed that they won't use Ajinomoto (tasting salt) and palm oil for cooking. Which makes this much healthier option when you compare with all colors biryani available outside. Also, we Telanganites love this combination as it's the main food during Bonalu, Dusshera and Sankranti. Definitely a must try place for Bagara rice lovers.
I visited Sattibabu Biryani Point today and ordered the Chicken Fry. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The chicken was undercooked, which made it unsafe and unappetizing. I honestly felt it wasn’t worth the money at all. I’ve attached a few pictures below as reference to show the condition of the food served. Hope the management looks into the food quality and hygiene seriously.
So here is the most hyped "Sattibabu Biryani" of hyderabad. Recent ga uppal lo kotha branch open chesaru, atu nunchi vellinapudu taste chesam. Instagram, youtube lo Chaala reviews chusa about mosapet branch, so here is my Pov. 1. The taste was okay, but it didn't stand out because we all have different preferences in styling, living, and thinking. Similarly, each person's taste buds are unique. 2. They've tried to capture that authentic flavor in their recipe, similar to 'Pandalapaka Apparao Vivek Biryani' from Rajamundry. In Andhra Pradesh, what they call biryani is essentially a normal bhagara and chicken fry, where a lot of oil and ghee are used to create a gravy-like masala to mix with the rice. 3. In Hyderabad, we often prefer Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. This combination of bhagara and chicken allows people to try and explore new flavors. While some may enjoy it, others might not because they are accustomed to Hyderabadi biryani. 4. Overall, from my perspective, I would rate it 3 out of 5. As they mentioned, it was spicy ("కమ్మగా కారంగా"). Thanku.🙌🏻
I ordered a joint biriyani cost of 280, just like normal Bagara rice and fried chicken , also the taste of the chicken is not good , not good as shown in YouTube.
Tried their chicken fry piece pulav. All glitters and no gold. The food was average at its core. Extremely oily and overly spiced pulav. Quantity of rice and pieces were okay. Would I try again? NO
While passing towards this Shop at 10:30 pm I thought let's have some food. The moment i entered the shop I did not found any parking and it is road side parking with owner risk what I feel. And the second most we went for dining but it is not much accomodate with that kind of atmosphere. It simply placed a metal tables and plastic chairs in a congested place. 3rd most there is no much cleanly ness though the staff is available. 4most availablity of food, the menu speak large variety of food is available but when it comes too reality they force to recommend only one particular item which fry pieces bagara which is 260rs. Frankly speaking it's not worthy. Some random qty adding into the bowle. As they gave 5pices with some medium bowl rice complete disagree with that platter because when your spending 260rs should have atleast get some amount of qty. it's completely not justified what they are giving with that platter. 4most there is no proper response when you ask at the counter, the guy is very rood and said that we offer the same to everyone if you interested or not interested it is upto you. Which in did not seen ever in any resturants like the way they response. It's simple cheating customer by saying Indian authentic spicy biryani by adding unlimited blind price it is not actually worthy. Nowadays if we take a time and Cook for a same meal it may take not more then 50rs but here we are spending 260rs it should have some satisfaction but not all justified with this price. I would highly not recommended with this sattibabu biryani at all
Let me give you people clarity. Satti babu biryani is famous for their Pulaos. Brought to telangana from Andhra. Their fry piece biryani or prawns biryani is nothing but the telangana bagara rice and indian fried chicken or Indian style prawns fry, I love the taste of the biryanis, I can't guarantee that everyone would love this, every one has different taste buds. Seen lot of people hating this because it's doesn't look like biryani and doesn't taste like biryani. They also sell hyderabad dum biryani but not so special. You can get the same taste at other local restaurants. But if looking for Pulao the best makers they are. And also suggestion for them to expand their seating and improve atmosphere for what they are charging. They are charging equal to 3 star hotel price but seating and atmosphere lacks. Hope this review would help you people. Drop down a like
The food was delicious. We had Fried Piece Chicken Biryani (Fried rice+Chick) and Chicken Roast , both kind of tasted the same and were spicy. My favourite has to be Chicken Kaju Pakodi. Quantity was more than enough, I & my husband couldn't finish Single Biryani. A bit on the expensive side but worth the taste. Recommend take away as the dining is more like a mess setup, very hot, suffocating and humid.
Yesterday I visited this place food was worst I have ordered panner biryani they gave rice and curry separately rice have no flavour and curry was spoiled and panner was too hard finally it’s waste of money
I can't describe in words about my experience... Ordered joint biryani which was recommended by receptionist and rice doesn't had any flavour and joint chicken doesn't have any flavor and price and it's not worth for 270 rupees price...... I think Roadside food is far better than this in taste wise and prixe wise.....
I tried Satthibabu Biryani today, but it was not as tasty as I expected. The chicken pieces were not cooked properly, which was disappointing. Many people say Satthibabu Biryani is good, but honestly, even Footpath biryani tastes much better. The Satthibabu fry biryani costs ₹260, but among the different biryanis I’ve tried, this turned out to be one of the most tasteless.
Rice and the dal gravy is good but the special chicken curry is off and smells soo bad and stale.its unfortunate to serve rotten chicken curry from a brand like this.very disappointed with the 3days before chicken curry I can bring it back and challenge them even to taste it .if u can’t provide fresh food please don’t promote yourself
Chicken biryani masala taste like mango pickle .. sarvice is too bad 😞
Today I had a visit with my wife...had a very worst experience. Firstly they should change the staff because not suitable for the hotel. They don't have a proper Seating arrangement and Ambience for having the food . Don't go with the family.
Today we tried this biryani to much spicy Like added species in biryani, please don't buy this biryani
No positive response not worth for amount paid for food I spend 700 bucks for Chitti royyalu biryani what we got is in below pics. Staff is too annoying that do whatever you want to do… I think this matters for everyone…
