The hotel called el Huerto restaurant to inquire whether we could still eat there, as it was already 2pm and we still needed to take a taxi to get there. They responded that we could, if we would arrive before 3 pm. So we decided to take a taxi and arrived just in time. At the restaurant the lady told us that they were already closed and even then we would have needed a reservation. We could have saved the taxi ride if they would have informed us correctly on the phone. Bad service!

Maybe a one time thing but lasagna here was awful... precooked pasta, microwaved with supermarket ready to eat sauce. 😐

This is number one recommendation talking about typical Bolivian food. Open since 11:30 a.m. Thursday to Sunday. Try to have a reservation it's a popular place. Overall the food was 9/10. The staff was not helpful enough (The POS wasn't working). The Ckoco de pollo is an amazing sample of food as a concept adapting through the time.

Food was good but not fantastic for the price. The best thing we had was actually the corn tacos appetizer. Those I would go back for.

Quite a nice place with lots of space and gardens. Food was reasonable. Rosti potatoes more like a fried mashed potatoe but was nice. Vegetarian ravioli was very salty. Good prices though so worth a visit or two. Can pay by card!

Considered the best place to try local cuisine. We went twice in the 4 days we stayed in Sucre. The food is good, I love it. They have an outside patio which is great.
