Security staff was totally incompetent and made up house rules. We got lied to about the location of friends of ours and after going back and forth for half an hour we decided to give up, luckily the friends came back around that time. Would not recommend as the security seems to enjoy their powers quite off limits

HORRIBLE experience with security at this hostel. One night the manager kicked my friend and I out of a common area next to my room so some politician could sit there, even though the politician said he didn’t mind. Then, security refused to let my friend come to my private room with me to get some things she left there and was literally chasing us around the hostel. The building itself is very nice and location is good. Breakfast was very good. However, bathrooms were mouldy and I only had hot water half the time. Wifi was terrible and super spotty, could not get reception from my room and it would only connect to a network 10% of the time. In the private room with shared bathroom, you had to walk across two outdoor courtyards and up a set of stairs to get to the bathroom which was annoying in the middle of the night. The hostel had a large bar/nightclub which was fun with lots of Bolivian people. However, note the dorm is immediately next to it and will be very loud with music going until the morning most nights. The private rooms in the courtyard are calmer, but you can still hear the music.

A nice hostel with good buffet style breakfast. It can get a bit loud at night so be aware! I usually go to bed at midnight and I’m not a light sleeper so this wasn’t really an issue for me:)

Best hostel on my trip till now - been traveling for 4 months. Excellent food, clean big dorms, and very helpful people! This place is more than value for money - pricing is unbelievably reasonable! Absolutely loved this place. Would highly recommend. Definitely made my stay in Sucre enjoyable!!

I stayed three nights in this hostel. Location was excellent. Breakfast was plenty. The bbq and food in the restaurant were good. Hostel was spacious with a restaurant, patio, chill garden, rooftop,... My room had a very nice retro style. Staff was friendly and the receptionist who organized the walking tour did an excellent job. The parties were also great. Less nice was that (at least the nights I was there) the place was in fact a nightclub in a hostel. As in loud music was blasting in my room untill the early hours, making it impossible to sleep and kind of obligating me to join the party. On booking or hostelworld it wasn't clear that it was a party hostel. I also think that breakfast untill 10am is a bit early for a party hostel, 11 seems better? But overall a great place! Just not somewhere I can stay for many days...

Definitely the worst and dirtiest place I've stayed in. We got a private room and the bathroom was full of mold. The power outlet did not work and when asked to fix it, they said sorry its weekend and cannot fix. These guys charge so much for a private room and don't even change a curtain full of mold. Really sad to see how some hostel owners are so cheap and careless. Also this place isn't really a hostel but more like a club. Weekends they have a full club open till 4am so no sleep. You will see drunk people all over the place smoking throwing up and getting kicked out by the security. Their breakfast is just bread and butter. Overall go here if you want to get sick and not have a comfortable stay

Very loud all the time. But it is a part hostel so you did it to yourself. The live bands that they had and the club area on the weekends were great! We really enjoyed our stay here and got lucky to have a 10 bunk shared dorm room to ourselves. The bathrooms were very small but doable. The showers did not have the warmest water though. This was a good location in regard to the center and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the balcony in the room had a beautiful street view. No bed curtains. Only thing to be aware of is if you actually are staying here to sleep...its gonna be hard.

Some say it’s a party hostel. I would rather say it’s a club that happens to have dormitories. If you want some sleep absolutely avoid. Loud music straight outside room till 3am and then loud street traffic from 7am. In terms of noise it’s the worst hostel I ever stayed at

Do not stay there if you want to sleep, a thing you are suppose to be able to do in a hostel. This place is more a night-club, concert hall and restaurant then anything else. Well situated, good place to spend time with friends to have a drink and perhaps enjoy a show, but not a hostel. They have loud music all day long until late at night.

Could not get wifi to work and staff didn't know why, but central location. Nice garden, awesome buffet breakfast (but get there early they don't seem to top it up). Our dorm door was broken and always open, so zero security, ask for closing one if you care about that. Upstairs bathrooms always messy, but downstairs ones good! Good for party but not meeting people if you're alone as there is no real common area.

If you want to experience sleeping in a club and partying with locals I’d recommend. If you want to rest I would not recommend. Every room is different, some are large with two bathrooms and some are small with no bathrooms. You need to be lucky. The staff is nice and can give advices on what to visit in Sucre. Breakfast is very good buffet style but the eggs and some extras are not included. The Hostal is very well located.

Worst Hostel in Sucre they partyed in Front of Our room till 7 am, the water went Out in the night, the Lock to the bathroom (which we shared with 14 people!) did Not exist and the Lock to Our doorm (which was also the entrance to the second Form!) Was so only fixed after we asked again and again. Without a doubt the worst Hostel We ever stayed at

Terrible hostel with bad service providers. We just wanted to make a Kiddush (a religious Jewish ceremony for entering Shabbat) so we bought wine in advance in the supermarket. I asked them to make me a favor and to open the bottle but they just suddenly confiscated my wine! The guy at the reception said it's written in the rules. No one told us about these rules. I asked him to show me where it was written. And amazingly it is not written anywhere! That didn't stop him from taking the wine from me. I have never seen anything like this in my life.

Good vibe, nice food, big value for the bucks - but definitely a party hostel, no way we would sleep here 😊

The breakfast was from 8-10 but the staff started to clean and to pur the Food away at 9.40 and they wouldnt put for example new fruits or even new bread on the table. And it’s a party hostel so they should offer the breakfast until 11. But in general the breakfast has a nice offer and a lots of different fruits. They have a lot of cleaning stuff, who cleans several times a day but the cleaning stuff wasn’t quiet in the morning, like there were still people sleeping in the room and she would put on loud music to clean. The owner wasn’t really friendly as well. The hostel also used way too much plastic, the knives, forks and spoons were always packed up in plastic and also the drinks for the lunch menu were packed up in to plastic bags, which dosnt make sense anyways because you want drink your juice out of a Glas and not out of a plastic back. The hostel could invest more in sustainability, which would be also more efficient for work time, which also leads to better financial results. In general we enjoyed our stay, for example the big nice house and the cheap lunch offer.

Avoid! This is an all night (music ends at 6am) nightclub with some dirty rooms attached. Overpriced, and a scam. There are so many other good options in Sucre. Do not torture yourself with this place. The whole area smells of urine and vomit because of the primary business is their nightclub.

Definitely the party hostel of Sucre. If you want to sleep you will not like it here. The rooms are decent but the bathrooms are not great, mould on the shower curtains and no ventilation. Very centrally located and easy walking distance to anywhere

Good place to tourists people. Big place and there is club inside! You can bought food and drinks any time and meet a lot of people. But something that I didn’t liked it’s that I need to play 10 Bs. More for egg to breakfast. In the end it’s very good place and cheap.

Hostel staff were excellent! Natalia was an absolute saint! Sorted us out constantly!! Rooms were decent and facilities were good. The staff in the bar however were not very attentive throughout the stay and left a sour taste

[attached] video @2AM on a REGULAR WEEKDAY, while we're all trying to sleep and locals are having a blast playing beer pong beneath my room and the dj is ramping up endlessly. Recommend only if you'd like party every night of your stay.

Helpful staff Noisy at night (it's a hostel and a bar), ask for the least noisy rooms, which are still somewhat noisy at night, if you're botheted by this Good location Clean bathrooms, many bathrooms, with warm shower (!!) AND toilet paper (!!!) Good price (61bob when I got it) One thing I didn't like of the cleaning is that the cleaning lady does it every day, so she can just open & get into your room, which makes it pointless to have a key. Not that she's not trustworthy, but I think it's common sense to only allow the people who rented the room to have the key for it, and to only clean after the guest leaves, no? Or when asked for... I just thought it a bit over-the-top. Others may enjoy this fact... Recommended

Amazing hostel for young people who like partying. Although, it’s very loud there, especially on weekends because they do parties inside the hostel, And there are few crew members that are not very nice..

Can't comment on the hostel as I only went to the nightclub, but I must say I did not enjoy it. The drinks are expensive and personally the music is awful. People can smoke inside the club, so anything you wear stinks of cigarettes afterwards. Lots of rather pushy men offering you drinks numerous times even after you've said you're not interested and trying to get too close to you and dance with you even when you've said no thanks. They weren't dangerous but it was uncomfortable

Superb place, and I'll tell you why... For the price paid (£38 for 1 week) with breakfast, you receive access to a venue, and seemingly one of the most popular venues in Sucre where entrance is around 25bs on the weekend. There is always something happening every night, from music to beer pong etc. The breakfast contains large assortments of fruit platters, breads, juices, yoghurts and jams and cheese, as-well-as coffee and teas. So for around €6 per night, you receive a central location in a historic building with free venue access, a good breakfast and an array of chill spaces (the garden area is very nice too). I was also charged the exact exchange rate (infact 2bs less) which I always appreciate, as often some businesses overcharge on currency conversions. Everything was excellent, and the cleanliness is exceptional. Very well managed indeed, and should you not stay here during your time in Sucre, you should at least visit as you'd be missing out on a top spot otherwise. 110% value.

Stayed here for about six days for 55 bolivianos/night. I was in a six-bed dorm at the street side with two other guests in the room. Our bathroom was quite spacious, though not very clean. Shower had medium warm water for most of the time, until the last two days when it suddenly became as hot as you wanted. Street noise was only bothersome in the weekend nights. There were also small balconies to enjoy some sunshine in the morning. Everyday the cleaning personal would suggest to make your bed. The receptionists were always very kind and helpful. Location is great being close to the main square. Breakfast is quite great here with a variety of vegetables and fruits, cheese, butter and weak coffee. You do have to get here a bit early, as a 10 am most will be gone. The hostel restaurant offers okay food though a bit expensive for its quality. They do have really strong coffees for 12 bolivianos. The hostel kitchen is maybe the worst part of the hostel as its dirty, small and very limited in appliances. You do have a ton of places to chill during the day which is nice. Weekend nightlife was okay, nothing special to be honest. There is some expensive booze to buy, mediocre music and a lot of noise. Its okay but don't expect too much of it.

This hostal is great, individual rooms are nice ( without heating but warm water). Above all it is integrated with local population who come to eat, drink on evening and the saturday party is repurated among the student crowed. Only advise: avoid room over the patio too noisy with the saturday night party.

What a fun place! We didn’t stay there, but the restaurant is really lovely and lively! We enjoyed the traditional Bolivian dance show—one of the most fun things we did in our three weeks in Bolivia! What a cool and unique experience. Also, the food is top notch—really tasty. The service is also very fast!

Little more expensive than some other hostels in Sucre. But the place is gorgeous! Amazing garden, clean rooms, good hot water shower. And the breakfast is a never ending buffet. Plus they offer a good set lunch menu.

I went here a few months ago. Just got back to Australia from my big trip. This place will always have some great memories to me. Met some amazing people and had some seriously good times. Staff was friendly and helped me out with everything I needed to know. Could speak higher ❤️

A hostel with different activities every evening. Can enquire at the reception or the on site restaurant for the evening activities. The room is very spacious with bathroom and toilet in each room. We had female dorm but one of the cleaner who is a guy didn't even bother to knock on the door before coming in to clean or make up the room. I was taken by surprised twice even jumping out of my bed when he came in to clean while my friend and I were having our nap. But the beds are comfortable and warm with individual power outlet and light for each bed. The breakfast is really good and they offer cheap set lunch too. If you want a quiet place, this is not a hostel for you as the evening activities can continue up to midnight.

I had a great stay here. The rooms were clean, showers hot, breakfast varied and tasty. I also found the staff so so helpful. Natalie had endless time for my questions and was so willing to talk through tips and advice about the local area. Carlos also was amazing at soothing my nerves when I was running late to get to the bus station. He dropped everything and came with me to get a reliable taxi driver there, he also gave me a contact number I could call if anything went wrong at the station. Thank you again Natalie and Carlos! I’d definitely come back again

The hostel is good, it has everything to be amazing (hot shower, blankets, outdoor area and ok breakfast). HOWEVER >> there is ZERO respect towards guests and that’s a terrible aspect. Music is extremely loud (I live in downtown São Paulo, I’m used to noise - but def not this loud that makes the bed dorm shakes at 2 AM). There are parties and concerts from Tuesday to Sunday. It’s impossible to sleep without sleeping pills or whatever might help you fall asleep. The plates of dishes were dirty AF. food and drink are overpriced (and truly not worth it). It’s a shame cause it’s got potential, but it didn’t deliver and it lacks in customer service.

Amazing place to stay in Sucre, very central, beautiful building and good breakfast If you are looking for party and have a good time David will make his best to make it happen! Thanks again for everything 🙏

It was nice enough. Our room was right next to the street so it was super noisy and the door to the balcony didn’t close properly. The toilets were quite far from the room and the toilet seats have those horrible foam seats which squish as you sit down. The hostel is a very good location. The breakfast buffet is a big range but they don’t have any plant milk which is a shame! The staff were absolutely lovely and had our laundry done really quickly at our request! They are a credit to the hostel.

Would have been great if they didn’t charge you for private rooms in the garden where people party and its impossible to rest or sleep. Loud music, flashing lights... the worst experience possible

Personally, we haven't take lodging in here but during the nightclub time it was pretty interesting. Very mindful bartenders and great partying in the place. Though we've really had a tough time with the heat in there it was pretty great.

This place is amazing, the staff are incredible! I got sick in Sucre and they went above and beyond to help me and make sure I was okay, they’re the most amazing people and your experience will be that much better for staying with them.

It's always surprise me when hostels go further and beyond what I would say is usually the thing people stay in hostels and this one is no exceptions, really nice stuff with good English (which is really helpful for someone like me who is learning Spanish, make it much easier), wonderful buffet breakfast, roomy dormitory, good location, fun evenings with DJ, overall good restaurant during the day which is part of the hostel. Yeah I would stay here again and you should too.
