The hubby and I went in a couple of days ago and they really make you feel like your such a burden by coming in. A few ppl that work there have attitudes and they just leave you to wait in a room for hours and hours top it off it wasn't even a busy afternoon. Evaluating my hubby seemed rushed and not thorough at all. We will never come back here again even if were dying. I hate ppl working in health care just for a pay check and no patient care what so ever! Work outside of Healthcare with that negative attitude. We did have 1 nurse who came in the evening and she was so sweet and helpful I am so thankful for her. But she was the only one!! Please ppl Treat your patients like human beings and not like a inconvenience.

Soo, my husband was seen in the ER for stomach pain but it was then discovered his blood oxygen levels were reading 55-60. He was excessively falling asleep and almost like passing out. His nurse Tony was kind and concerned. He assured him he would be taken care of. However the ER doctor tried to send him home because ā€œhe did not have insurance and there was nothing she could doā€. I am a healthcare professional and it is UNETHICAL to refuse an emergency situation due to lack of insurance. Also while I was down the hall I heard the doctor tell the nurse to have my husband sign an AMA which says that he refused treatment so if something happened the hospital would not be liable. We refused that paperwork and I told them that if they didnā€™t see him Iā€™d sue for malpractice. So they eventually looked into it and discovered the carbon monoxide in his blood was reading in the 100s (normal range is 35-45). He was in an emergency situation and they were going to discharge him! Once I acted ugly he was then rushed to ICU where they tried to jump immediately into putting him on a ventilator. I REFUSED. My husband was coherent and not unconscious and able to answer questions completely correct. So I argued with the nurse practitioner who was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. After forcing doctors to run test on my husbands heart and lungs BEFORE placing him under anesthesia, they finally did and saw he had fluid on his lungs!!!! Which means he might not have been strong enough to make it out of a procedure that doctors were not THOROUGH about. I plan on seeking legal advice from an attorney because they almost killed my husband. If I , along with many of my friends and family had not been well versed in medicine(neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, biologist, etc) he might have been harmed or worse. I cannot express enough if you are in need of medical care pass this place up there is a Memorial Herman close by. You might find yourself in a bad situation here.

Worse hospital ever. Came in because my face was swollen. Had fever. Vision blurry. Due to tooth abscess. Carol the Charge nurse treated me like I was stupid. Made me feel bad for even coming. Dr. Patel wouldn't even prescribe pain meds. Said for me to take over the counter meds which haven't been working. Asked me if I even had a dentist I could have seen. Lidia the ER nurse had a bad attitude. I'm ashamed to say I even work here. These people gotta do better. I could have stayed home hurting for this kind of treatment. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! HOW do people come into this field and have no compassion??

We LOVE St Lukeā€™s Sugar Land and their Family Birthing Center. We have delivered 3 out of our 4 babies here and we have always been treated so kindly by the staff. Two weeks ago, we had our 4th baby and I will note that while every delivery has been great, the nursing staff seemed to be thriving even more so than usual. We had the best post-partum care and the nurses went above and beyond to ensure baby and I were taken care of. Major improvements were noticed despite not ever thinking there needed to be any! Thank you to all the staff! Kind nurses make a birthing experience even more magical.

I underwent surgery and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the entire experience. From the moment I arrived at the hospital to the moment I left, the staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to patient care. I would particularly like to highlight the remarkable nurse who escorted my wife and I from the waiting room to the pre-operative room. Her warm and friendly demeanor created a comforting atmosphere, trusting I was in capable hands. She was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also possessed a rare quality of empathy and compassion.

ER DEPARTMENT: Do not go here for pain. They will not help you. It seems like their policy. After my experience, I discovered a lot of stories my family had to share, too. I went to the ER at 4am for SEVERE pain, I thought I might die, from gastritis, or sepsis. They gave me a GI cocktail but it did not help, and I threw it up immediately. They told me ā€œThe ER is not a substitute for a gastro, we canā€™t do anything to help you here. We canā€™t give you anything for pain.ā€ They gave me a shot for nausea, but I continued throwing up after. The doctor did not ask if I had continued throwing up. They did not have any heating pads for my back or ribs, and didnā€™t offer me even a shot/suppository of Tylenol (since I couldnā€™t keep anything down). They also did not look at my vomit to check for blood, and I did see blood clots. Eventually I was writhing, sobbing, vomiting, in my room, and pleading with the nurse to give me anything for pain. The doctor came back and said he canā€™t give me anything. It was a traumatic experience, and while I understand maybe they canā€™t treat gastritis, I donā€™t like how I was treated, seemingly without empathy. They do not understand the severity of the pain. I left the ER asap so I could get home and self-treat with Tylenol, heating pads, hot shower etc. I was still throwing up as I was leaving. The pain stayed at a 8-10 for 12 hours, after vomiting the GI cocktail. Itā€™s now been 40 hours and I am still in pain. I have slept maybe 2 hours and I havenā€™t eaten anything. I am seeing a gastro tomorrow but this whole thing is just insane to me. I sincerely believe I should have been hospitalized. I will go to Memorial Hermann next time. UPDATE: I went to Methodist today and they helped me, gave me pain killers, did a CT scan and an ultrasound, and said I need surgery TODAY to have my gallbladder removed. It was so inflamed, they could not see gallstones because it was so thick. It was SEVERELY INFECTED. My ER experience at St. Lukeā€™s was such a nightmare, this is still all so insane to me.

The Nursing staff was great, the food was good. The only complaint I have it took sometimes took an hour before anyone acknowledged my call light. I was on no weight bearing and I had to have staff help me to the bathroom and one day I was stuck on the toilet for over an hour. That is just inexcusable. Also meal trays were left in the room sometimes until the next meal. I don't know if they are understaffed or what's going on. The ER staff, Dr. and nurses were efficient and concerned with what was going on and did everything they could to keep me comfortable. I will continue to use St. Luke as my hospital.

No words for the level of care and compassion received! Thank you Jade in Nuclear Med imaging! The clarity and detail of my images were impressive. I couldnā€™t have seen a in depth look at the cancer metastasis without your time shared with all efforts to persist in staying phenomenally strong! Thank you for supportive and encouraging comfort during my procedures!

Nice staff. Thankful for their professionalism, patience and compassion. Met a wonderful lady named Cassandra who works in the cafeteria near the ER. She saw my distress and showed me kindness. She even prayed for my daughter without even knowing why we were there. What an angel. She is truly wonderful.

My mom had surgery at this facility and the staff was wonderful. But my 5 stars go to Aisha from Medical Records. I needed a previous result that came from another state and Aisha went above and beyond in her efforts to help me, showing empathy and kindness. She really deserves recognition for her friendliness, work ethics and people skills.

Food situation is horrific. The made a mistake on my lunch menu. When I called I was told that was my problem and I would have to wait for evening meal and they would not correct the error they made despite proper nutrition is part of th healing process.....pathetic. What the did send was like modeling clay. I am sure I was charged 3 prices for it and still had to order door dash. Don't know how many spread chickens that was molded from but it have never been independently alive.

My mom was in a lot of pain regarding her chest but it seemed like nobody had an answer. She went to so many places and doctors to find a solution before finally ending on this one. This is the only place that helped her properly and made her comfortable. My mom has a lot praise for Dr. Karen Richardson. I almost couldnā€™t believe she was describing an ER. Amazing hospitality and thanks for helping my mother feel better.

Today 12/29/2023 My mother scheduled for Surgical Procedure. We arrived first. Prior to any other patients. My mom was assisted and directed to undress. Though 2 other pts arrived simultaneously. My mother's process was never initiated. The assumed charge nurse Bryan stated Felix will start once he arrives. No questions were asked no vital signs were obtained . My mom's surgery was scheduled for 0730. Bryan started his pt. Another nurse started a pt. The Asian nurse was directed to start another pt. While my mom sat in bed dressed in her gown with my assistance. Per Bryan stated the other patients procedures was scheduled for 0700. No excuse for the staff not to relay this information. Thus staff needs to be trained properly. I am not pleased. Currently, it's 0715 and the nurse is still not present. I will need to discuss with Nurse supervisor. Not acceptable. Hoping and Praying the other staff are ppl of faith and love their job.
