This new Yemeni coffee spot Qahwah House is an absolute gem! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its stunning interior. It's a delightful blend of traditional Yemeni aesthetics and modern comfort. The coffee is rich, aromatic, and steeped in Yemeni tradition. Each cup is a journey into Yemen's coffee culture, and also reminds me of cafes in Istanbul. The attention to detail, from the interior decor to the carefully crafted coffee, is commendable. It's evident that the owners have poured their hearts into creating this wonderful space. I can't recommend this place enough. Don't miss out on this fantastic addition to our city ☕

Didn’t try any of the food because it honestly looked stale & old (went towards the evening time)- but the coffee is really good and strong! They don’t give the coffee in ceramic mugs- only to-go cups even if you drink inside- that would be a constructive criticism id give since you’re spending money in the store to enjoy the coffee- it just makes the feel of a coffee shop different. Nonetheless, I’d give the coffee a shot.

Hands down the best coffee shop in sugar land, I loved everything about this place. The coffee was excellent and decently priced, I got the tomatoes and cheese croissant, which was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back here often.

I was with my friends at Qahwah House located in the heart of Sugar Land, TX, Qahwah House exudes warmth and charm from the moment you step inside. The rustic decor, adorned with vintage coffee memorabilia, creates an inviting ambiance perfect for a leisurely afternoon or a quick caffeine fix on a busy morning. The coffee and tea selection at Qahwah House is a true delight. From rich, aromatic espressos to velvety cappuccinos, each cup is expertly crafted to perfection. Their signature drink, the "Honey Lavender Latte," is a unique blend of flavors that tantalizes the taste buds with its floral notes and subtle sweetness. Complementing the stellar coffee offerings are delectable pastries and light bites. The blueberry scones, freshly baked and bursting with flavor, pair exceptionally well with their specialty drinks. The staff at Qahwah House exude warmth and enthusiasm, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. Their passion for coffee is evident in the way they engage with patrons, making every visit a personalized experience. While the seating area is cozy and inviting, Brew Haven can get a bit crowded during peak hours, making finding a table a tad challenging. Overall, Qahwah House is a haven indeed for coffee and tea aficionados. Its exceptional brews, inviting ambiance, and friendly service make it a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a memorable coffee and tea experience in Sugar Land.

I’m not sure how I missed this place for so long, since it is located very near my office in Sugar Land. One rainy morning on my way into a meeting, I stopped here briefly to grab a drink. I was not feeling like coffee and I decided if I was going to order a Yemeni specialty I would wait until I could sit down in there and enjoy it. I ordered a Matcha Latte. While I waited, I admired the beautifully decorated space which is huge. This is one of the larger coffee houses I’ve been to period and would be a great place to bring a group of friends. The service was excellent and the barista was polite and friendly. I asked the barista about the business. She said it’s been open for four months and is the only location in the Houston area. With the many Yemeni coffee houses opening, it is a great time to try this one out. The matcha latte was good. It was a bit light on the matcha, as I like mine to have a stronger matcha flavor. Otherwise, I loved everything about this place. I will be sure to come back to try more drinks and update the review.

Coffee pot was great! Next time I’ll order the bigger size 😍 Almond croissant was delicious but a bit stale. I think it was from yesterday, I wish they baked them fresh in-house…I would have eaten two more. Atmosphere was beautiful and felt like you’re walking in old Yemen. ❤️

It's really special when we find a small business that is local to our neighborhood that you know you will come back to over and over again. Qahwah house is the perfect place for anyone to come to over and over again and discover new treats every time! We just had an event at this location and they treated us extremely well. We tried both coffee and chai along with some sweet pastries and it was a big hit for everyone. All the servers were very helpful and accommodating, especially Abdul, who made sure we had everything we needed and more.

Initial impressions: relaxing and delicious. The space, staff, and atmosphere was inviting and calm. The staff was welcoming and even explained the craftsmanship behind brewing their coffee. The drink preparation was well thought (reference pic) and tasted delicious. A little on the higher price for a cup of coffee, but the taste and ingredients speak for it. There’s a outdoor seating area to enjoy depending on the weather. Overall nice spot, plenty seating, good coffee!

Amazing place for Yemen style coffee and pastries. We had the small Mofawar coffee and tomato olive pastry. Both were delicious. Around $10 per person. We shared the coffee.

I love coming here! My favorite is the iced mocha latte, but their pastries and teas are delicious as well. Service is always good and never had to wait long. The atmosphere is different in the mornings than the afternoons, mornings is great for study sessions and afternoon is great for hanging out. They also have a nice outdoor area. Strongly recommend if you are looking for delicious Yemeni coffee!
