I was amazed by the good reviews and the fact it was vegetarian. I was let down by the host who wasn’t kind enough to accommodate us on available space and made us wait outside with our kid and our guests. And dint have the Courtesy to invite us back in. That was where we started feeling disappointed. And the drinks came with even more disappointment when falooda shake came in a bottle with no resemblance to any falooda I have ever had. That was rose milk not falooda. My third disappointment was street food. Chana was bland in dahi papdi. And has like 4 papdis, very little chutney and no potato, lacks the basic skeleton of dahi papdi. ( even though it’s deconstructed) definitely a huge let down. Third was paneer sizzler ( which I ordered because the menu said it would be served in a sizzling plate ) but wasn’t and was also chewy and bland and felt like it was oven baked. Then our order of kofta, naans, and veg Jaipuri made its way to our table. But there again there was attitude when we got an extra order of naan that we did not place. Eyes were rolled and smirks were all over the place. And here the kofta was the sweetest and naans were the chewiest. Tandoori rotis we’re decent and I did like veggie frankie. It had flavors of Mumbai streets. But over all my special day wasn’t special anymore. And the bill I paid dint feel appropriate for the food or looks I got through out the evening. As much as I wanted to enjoy my experience, the place failed me.

The food was overly priced and the portion sizes were small. The best meal for us was the starter (somosa Chatt). I'd recommend going for the starters but not the main courses if you want the authentic taste and spice. Beautiful place to sit but I was disappointed about the food!

5 stars for the Mango lassi. It's a must try. We went in for lunch and ended up trying their popular Chaat items. We tried their samosa Chaat and Raj kachori. As the photos depict, they are presented beautifully in high quality quirky ceramic plates. Taste wise, the raj kachori is quite good. Although the filling can be a bit on the dry side. The samosa Chaat has Chhole Masala and a bit of the imli (sweet) and sour chutneys. We felt it was a bit spicy so we asked for extra dahi, which they provided readily at no extra charge. The service is quite good and the staff is polite. Best thing about them? Their ambience and decor which highlights Bollywood films and actors. It feels like a slice of India in foreign land. They've put so much effort into the decor and it definitely adds to the experience. 4 stars solely for the decor!

Top tier experience at Nirmanz! My family and I were greeted at the door and immediately seated. We were warmly welcomed and offered immediate help with ordering, loved that! Everything we ordered was delicious, full of flavor and plated perfectly! I can’t wait to come back to this restaurant! It was an amazing, flavorful experience!

Amazing food, great service and overall great vibes. Love all the decor. My husbands never had true Indian chaat/ street food, he truly enjoyed the food and called it an experience. The raj kachori and the Ragda Pattie’s were our favs. Madras coffee was perfect in this cold weather. We will be visiting often

First time at this place, I didn’t enjoy it much. Many waiters and waitresses were walking and standing around us. Food was ready fast and the design was nice. I ordered my food mild, but still it was too spicy for me and ended uo not eating it. The atmosphere didn’t feel warm and welcoming. This place has only vegetarian options.

It was a true Bollywood experience. The staff was really friendly and out going. The food was super fresh and flavorful. We did appetizers, main dish and dessert. Dont forget the garlic naan. The atmosphere was on point and all of the decor was so fitting with the meal.

Tonight was our first time trying Indian food in general and I’m so glad that it was here that we came. Not having any experience with the food, our server helped us along the way and even gave us really good recommendations. Definitely the service was a 12/10 ! (I forgot to ask for her name but if you ever read this thank you so much for your patience and kindness! <3 ) The food was good, definitely not food that me and my family are accustomed to but we’d come back again.

Honestly impressed with this place. It’s the first time I’ve tried their food, but it’s great. I’ve ordered take out and it comes with complementary rice, which I think is cool but they’re rice is not that soft and sometimes hard. If it’s also going to be your first time here, I recommend getting the chicken masala.

7 of us came here while visiting from chicago. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We ordered 15 different items (because we really couldn’t narrow down our options) and all of them were delicious. The portions were plentiful. The food came out quickly. The presentation of each dish was great. I highly recommend the bullet naan. The staff was very attentive and polite. We will definitely be coming back again.

Great food. On the milder side of what we've had elsewhere. However, I preferred it. Clean restaurant, nice attentive service. Quirky/Funky ambiance retro-hippie east meets west vibes. Dont wait for a server to take your order. Orders are taken at counter. You do get a complimentary individual sized bottle water upon seating which I appreciated. The rice is included with theirain dish price which I also loved because I think that's how it should be. Other places charge when I think that should just be part of the meal. Owners daughter was super friendly and courteous. Despite with dealing with a party of 5 who only ordered two main dishes and cleaned them up completely bare only to complain how bad it was when there was clearly nothing left. Obviously people taking advantage and being cheap. Anyways they'll be opening a second location in Richmond which I will try as it will be closer to me. Thanks!!

Very cute place and great food. I ordered the lamb vindaloo and the lamb was very tender. I forgot which chicken dish we ordered but it was super tasty as well. My favorite things were the samosas and masala chai. Service was super quick and kind of a hybrid between counter service and sit down. You order at the counter but a very nice lady came and checked on us several times. Thank you!

It was full themed restaurant about bollywood movie(I guess) and the place was well maintained. The service was good. Indian snacks was so good and it had the same taste as in India.

Dahi puri was great, everything else was average. The restaurant has spent more on creating a Bollywood theme inside than the food taste. We tried Dahi puri, Dal Makhni, Chicken tikka masala, Veg biryani, Amritsari kulcha and garlic naan. I would mention veg biryani has more gobi (cauliflower) than rice. All were average, not so hot and not so great in taste either. Will I visit again: No

📽Bollywood Vibes with the BEST Indian Chaat in Houston! 🍛 @nirmanzofficial has some of the Best chaat we have had! The ambience is definitely catchy and takes you down memory lane, especially if you are a Bollywood lover like ourselves! Each dish has its own unique flavor that takes you to the city where it originated ! 😍This grilled cheese vada pav takes us back with its fusion concept and amazing flavors! They have some yummy Indo-chinese options as well! Great place for vegetarians due to all the paneer options! Also, everything is Halal! GRILLED CHEESE VADA PAV: Spicy Potato Patty and cheese flavors compliment each other! Great option for fusion food lovers! RAJ KACHORI: A crispy shell filled with potato filling, sweet and spicy! Definitely a SHOW STOPPER! CHEESE DOSA: It’s like eating an Indian cheese pizza! CHICKEN HAKKA NOODLES Indo-chinese fusion flavors! These noodles were seasoned really well CHICKEN LOLLYPOP: One of our childhood faves Thank you so much for having us! We will definitely be back!! 📍16338 Kensington Dr, Sugar Land, TX

Food taste and quality is on average side. We ordered chole bhature, paav bhaji, paneer tikka masala. Paneer tikka masala has more flavor of sweetness then other ingredients like cinnamon, coriander etc. Chole was more home cooked style, you can like it if you are not looking for too much spicy chole. Bhajji doesn't taste good at all, I won't recommend it. I would suggest to order tandoori roti then naan, naan seems to be coming from oven then tandoor.

I come here all the time with my family! They serve some of the best Indian food in Sugar Land. They have a great variety of dishes and the flavors are next level. I recommend first timers to try the Buttered Chicken with a side of Garlic Naan bread. It’s one of my faves!

    1. Pav Bhaji 2/5 tastes like tomato sauce 2. Pani Puri 3/5 Not spicy at all 3. Chole Bhature 4/5 4. Vada Pav 5/5 Comparable to Honest 5. Dal Tarka 0.5/5 Not good at all but they are kind enough to replace the dishes for us so I added another star for them
