Marie at the Deli just opened back up even though I was late getting to the store to make a sub for my 8 months pregnant wife. All she wanted was this sub and I got there too late and I was so sad and not only did Marie hook me up but everyone else in the store was super nice too. I tried to call the customer service line to tell them how thankful I was and apparently that line's not open on Sunday nights... I care enough about this experience that I'm calling customer service tomorrow when they are open again to tell them it was great. These people are all lovely. Extra shout out to Marie for rescuing my evening from a pregnant lady who was not going to accept any substitute for the sub she wanted from Harris teeter.

Was in yesterday to pick up a few things and walked into what appeared to me as a total Mental episode via one of the Deli associates. For a good few minuets the Gal was hollering and throwing a noticeably large fit. I don’t know the details behind it, but what I do know is this was very uncomfortable to witness for both myself and other customers and should have never happened. I am assuming the store currently doesn’t have a manager on site, as this seems to be unlikely behavior of any employee if they did. I opted to go elsewhere for my deli items as I wasn’t daring enough to get any closer, very inconvenient. Hopefully corrective actions are taken with this lady. This type of employee behavior doesn’t typically give a business the best look nor does it produce financial graces for said business.

I live in Ashburn, however I drive to Sterling for this Harris Teeter. This locations seems to have the best supply of most goods that seems to be missing from shelves at other locations. I’m here to specifically highlight the seafood department, which competes very well with other local large grocery establishments.

This used to be our go-to grocery store but unfortunately has gone downhill in recent months. They were the best place to order grocery pick-up but after their app was not usable for a few weeks, we had an incident with our order that took longer to solve than it would have to shop for the groceries ourselves. We then got home to realize they gave us expired ground beef (which isn't cheap right now). They were also out of a lot of normal items. I don't know if this has to do with being bought by Kroger but it stinks.

I have used the bakery here twice now and they have yet to disappoint. Most recently Sian (Hope I spelled that right) did a custom freehand Grumpy Cat cake for my daughter’s bakery and it was AMAZING! Most definitely pleased! Will use them again for our next birthday cake.

Please turn down the heat in the winter. I had to leave the store early because it was so hot inside. If it's 45 degrees outside, it does not have to be 80 degrees inside. Don't you have a heating bill? My husband was in shorts and he was sweating. In the winter. I cannot shop here at all this winter if it remains so unnecessarily hot. If you're cold put on a sweater, there's only so much clothing the rest of us can take off.

A very nicely organized and clean store for your groceries and other household items. The store usually has good sales on weekends. Other good thing is to that it is not as crowded as some of the other supermarkets.

It’s a very good harris teeter. They got the best sandwiches. The Italian sub is one of the best subs I’ve ever had in my life.

Store is clean and easy to navigate. Has Starbucks and pizza station inside. Employee Hector (in sub station) is absolutely delightful and so friendly! Always willing to help in anyway he can…this man deserves a raise!

Very nice and clean store. Some things you can get here are fairly priced. But most stuff here is overpriced.

I have visited many Harris Teeter stores in the past, but this was the first one that charged for grocery bags. Store was well stocked and very clean, but being charged for grocery bags turned me off rather quickly. Just seemed strange to me.

I love this Harris Teeter. The friendliest and cleanest store ever been to that was not brand new. I'm fact thought it was.... I drive past a couple HTs on my way to this one, including one across my home, just so I can have a friendly, no drama and positive time shopping. Thank you to this store's management and all the employees...I wish I had everyone's name for a shout out. Everyone there is so nice! ❤️

I wish I could give zero stars to this fraudulent store. I used my ebt card in the self-checkout aisle and they told me that it didn't take ebt payments. That's strange, I've always used ebt at Harris Teeter. I was in a hurry and did not have time to stand around and argue my point. They charged me for groceries and did not credit back my ebt account, even though I did not take my groceries home. Never again will I shop at this company.

Modern and clean store with ample parking. Starbucks inside! Fruit and vegetable quality wanes now and then. Some store signage is off (frozen waffles under the frozen fruit sign?). Friendly staff. Best selection in every food category over other markets. Open 24 hours, because I like shopping early in the morning when it feels like I have the store to myself. Nice wine selection, too.

This is my new go to place for flowers! Holiday, Saturday, etc, there's usually a florist on hand to assist you. But generally they are so well stocked that you don't need help even on a saturday.

I love my Local Harris Teeter on Epicure Drive in Sterling everyone from the Starbucks at the front to the deli, seafood and bakery towards the back is so sweet. I love, love, love Bryan the pharmacist and his whole staff they are so friendly even when slammed or very busy. The cashier's are young and could use some direction. They tend to try to hide at times instead of help or bunch up at the registers to talk. This shift is primarily the 5- 10 group. All in All this location is my favorite!!

Love Harris Teeter and that is the only reason I am giving 5 stars… However, the one employee today at the cash register, when I stopped by to grab things with family was very unprofessional and rude! I let her know ahead of time, it will be a separate order, and when she continued to ring items up, I asked her if she could take those items off as I had asked for it to be separate.. another employee intervened (very nice employee) and showed her how, but the other employee continued to be rude and gave me an attitude and threw the change to my family member. She also told me that I should have been more clear about it. I understand grocery stores are stressful, but as someone who has worked in customer service for many years- that is NOT the way you treat customers. She kind of just threw the items to us and did not even say thank you, have a nice day. Maybe needs some training on how to talk to customers and how to be professional… 2 other ladies who are employees there intervened at times and were very respectful and helpful!

I went by the beginning of the month and asked the customer service employee to check my lottery ticket. After he checked it, he told me that is not a winner. I told him to give me back the ticket, and to my surprise he told me he can't give it back after he checked it. It's a policy! Later I talked to the manager and he told me he should have given it to me. He said he will talk to him. What if my ticket was a winner?I still have the stub where I put the numbers.

I want everyone to appreciate and recognize miss Sandra for how kind and caring she is. I went to this location for the first time for instacart and she was so welcoming and friendly. On top of that she went out of her way to make my job easier for me and very neatly and gently packed the bags being mindful to distribute weight and separate unsterile items. She even went as far as to label the bags AND had the separate orders places in the cart a different direction. She’s such a bright light to have pop into my life for a quick grocery trip. THANK YOU SANDRA YOURE AMAZING AND I SAW YOUR EFFORT!!!!

The store is fine as far as their inventory and special product lines are concerned. It’s the particular employee culture that has bothered me for a while now - there are attitudes and incompetence among some of the employees especially with the assistant manager who seems to have a permanent axe to grind and I have started to avoid this store at all costs. I get a feeling that he may have been in law enforcement or military before this job and I think he continues to behave in a harsh, obtuse way - he really has no common sense or a customer service approach at all.
