Good environment. Very clean. Stuff are good. I like this place.

The location of this gym is convenient. Masks are no longer mandatory. I can usually get on the machines I need to even during peak hours. The staff members are friendly and helpful. This location does not offer Zumba or workout classes (locations down south offer this perk like NC and SC).

I love this Planet Fitness. Everyone wears their masks, staff & guests! The staff is always super friendly, bathrooms are always clean. There's always an employee walking around wiping the equipment down, dumping the trash cans and keeping this location super duper stupid clean!! Although it's in the heart of South East DC, I've NEVER had a bad experience. But I do wish they'd finally get all their massage beds serviced/ fixed!!

The location is convenient, as it is within walking distance of my home. Because it is a smaller facility, the equipment is pretty tightly packed without a lot of mat space. The staff is always friendly, especially Kevon. But music leaves A LOT to be desired. In SE D.C. blasting band like Metallica so loud that it is louder the music playing in my headphones is problematic.

The machines are separated by 2 so you could work out without actually being any close to anybody is quiet and no crowd and so which is a good thing and they have lots of rules about safe distance ends and is clean

I'm thankful for planet fitness. people in this neighborhood are blessed to have this massive planet fitness, you have to come out and do your best to take care of yourself. Not only you can use planet fitness to stay fit, but you can also use planet fitness as a surviving tools. take care of yourself. Let's go out and live life..

I have probably been to a dozen Planet Fitness locations within the DMV. This one is in my top three. Good staff. Crowd is Chill. Never overpacked. Private parking. Stays clean. Machines are never out of order for more than a day or two.

The gym is very clean. The tanning beds are excellent. There is ALWAYS someone at the from desk happy to assist you as soon as you walk in the door. I joined this location because of Nina. She took so much time explaining every aspect of membership to me. She was very pleasant, polite and helpful. She is an excellent representation of the Planet Fitness Brand.

Love it here. Everyone is always so friendly..New and old employees. They make you feel excited to workout here. It’s always clean all the equipment is always in place, you don’t have to search for dumbbells!!!

Why does equipment stay broken for months? Planet fitness is a billion dollar company. It should only take about a week to fix broken equipment, not 2-4 months. I’m not even talking about a big piece of Equipment or Machine.

Great environment to work out in, lots of very motivated people. Everyone is there to work out. There is a lot of equipment, there are duplicates of most of the machines. The staff is always courteous and the facilities are always clean.

Just denied entry into THIS planet fitness(NEVER had a problem ever)cause this gentleman felt like my athletic boots weren't appropriate!!... Never mind that imma 60 yr.old man walking with a cane coming to just get some light exercise or shown respect!! My shoes are nothing more than athletic boots resembling boot style tennis shies Nikes make...non steel with athletic grip bottoms just like Nirmal tennis shoes!! I ended going to ANOTHER planet fitness who as ALL THE OTHERS had no problems with my shoes!!...As a matter if fact, I actually asked the store I went in was my athletic boots a problem...they said " no" and couldn't understand WHY at THIS location they wouldn't let me in!!... INTERESTING!!🤔🤔

I want to start by saying the staff here are PHENOMENAL. Friendly, welcoming and engaging with customers. Gym is always extremely sanitary and constantly being cleaned and organized. But I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and the equipment is completely worn down and breaking all the time. Pads are worn and cracking, plastic on the machines is chipped or cracked and “out of service” signs stay on the same equipment for months at a time. Cable operated Machines need oiling or something to make them run smoothly. Weight plates are far and few between, we’re all fighting for them even when the gym is almost empty. Not a single piece of an equipment has been replaced in the time I’ve come here. Definitely losing interest in coming here.

This gym is exactly what it says it is: a clean, bright, friendly, no-frills place to work out. Plenty of cardio equipment to go around. The equipment is in good condition. Worn or broken machines get fixed (not instantly, but within reasonable timeframes). There's sometimes a wait for particular weight machines during busy times, but it's never long. Locker rooms are clean and in good repair. Overall, highly recommended.

The friendliness of the staff, the convenience of this location and the willingness of everyone (staff) to offer help -- to include the trainer. They make you feel valued, especially since I haven't been in a gym for a while. Kevon (I hope that I spelled his name correctly) is a jewel with a million dollar smile and personality.

The best location I have visited thus far around the DMV. Convenient location and parking. Great staff and clean facilities. Well maintained and newer equipment. Never an issue with overcrowding or unavailable machines/equipment. There is an abundance of space and areas if you need to socially distance or simply free style your own routine. Even the clients are respectful of time and the occupancy of areas. As a black card member and frequent traveler I have utilized PF locations across the U.S. and this is one of my personal favorites. Much appreciation to the staff and community!

I need to get my but back in there. Bills are no joke. Jeremy (manager) is very nice and professional.

A great place to take a long good shower the property managers of just probably he was a good guy and let me spend at least 24 hours on his property and I appreciate it and I thank him for it thank you again I need that show

I tried signing up for Landover MD but was forced into DC for some reason. I never wanted DC I wanted MD. I was not able to change or transfer so I had to cancel DC to get MD membership. Other than losing my $50 deposit, Planet Fitness is great.

I love the way the equipment is set up at this location. The staff is nice and helpful and I love the fact that I see them cleaning equipment from time to time. This location has truly brought back my love for going to the gym.

The staff is awesome. They always greet you with a warm welcome and tell you to “have a good workout!” It’s super motivating. The gym is clean and they are actually constantly cleaning while you are working out. This helps to ease my anxiety about germs 🦠 They also enforce the mask mandates lowering the risk of CoVid exposure. Also it’s 5 mins from my home. 10 out of 10!

I really enjoy the atmosphere the equipment and the perks of the black card members I really liked that it's a 24/7 operation and that you can go there any time this gym is amazing.

I Love the Penn Branch DC PF. The staff is Amazing. They keep the facility clean, stocked and sanitize the equipment also. They are friendly and care about the customers. They are knowledgeable about fitness and procedures also encouraging too. I've visited other Branches but this my favorite thus far.

Awesome place to workout! The entire staff is great and the place stays impeccably clean and safe in general and in regard to Covid-19 precautions. I definitely recommend it for a go to workout location!

The people are nice and polite, it's very clean not over crowded and it's close to my home.

Facility is always clean. They offer good classes. The employees are friendly. Trainer Kay is good to work with and will have you losing weight fast

Penn branch planet fitness is very friendly! All staff members and I mean ALL STAFF members are respectful and go out their way to satisfy anyone. I rate this planet fitness a 10. One of the only planet fitness I’ve been to and have no problem with nothing. Never no line when entering. Staff always walking around wiping equipment down, putting equipment back and giving advice to people when they see people exercising wrong! BIG SHOUTOUT TO YOU ALL, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! -Vee

The building is always clean and smells fresh. The staff are personable and professional. The variety and quality of the equipment is excellent. Even the parking lot is well-lit at night. I feel safe leaving the gym in the evening, now that it gets dark at 5:00pm. Overall, I'm impressed with this location. I look forward to going to the gym every day. Who would have knew?!🤷🏾‍♀️

We felt at ease and at home thanks to the entire staff's friendliness, helpfulness, and level of knowledge. They also offered assistance when necessary and were kind and welcoming. All of the employees are cheerful and upbeat. We are anticipating returning frequently with excitement.

When I tell you that this is the CLEANEST gym that I've EVER been to, believe me. I own a cleaning business and am always looking for new contracts... no need here. Not only do you get a good workout but a healthy environment. No dust, no tissue in cup holders, and staff is continuously cleaning and racking misplaced weights. Baseboards, bathrooms, sinks, sanitary disposal holders, EVERYTHING IS CLEAN! The staff is very friendly. This should honestly be a training center for other PF locations.

I transferred my PF membership to the Penn Branch location in October & I absolutely love it! It’s huge, there’s a lot of new equipment and it’s never overly crowded. They have a free parking lot with tons of spaces & the gym is always super clean — inside & out. The staff & members are also really respectful & friendly! They’re mindful of covid procedures (wearing masks, socially distancing, etc.), there are sanitizing stations all over the facility & the members are fully vaccinated. I always have a great workout whenever I go & I’ve recommended this location to my friends! One of the best PF’s I’ve been to.

OMG this gym is so great! the customer service is by far the best in the area. And they clean from sun up to sun down. The GM Tasha is so sweet!

This is a convenient location for me so that’s one of the reasons why I canceled my membership with another gym. Since I’ve been a black card membership, I have received VIP customer service from the staff, clean and safe atmosphere, working and available equipment, and a relaxing massage chair after my workout. I want to personally thank Nina, Tim, Leandre, and Trestan for always greeting me at the door and making me feel like a valued customer. Keep up the good work! Overall, this Planet Fitness is the place to BE.

A great planet fitness, there's parking, the place is never crowded which makes things very simple. The workers are nice. All this makes it easy for me to finish my workout and go home.

I have had an overall well experience with the staff and guests at this planet fitness. However I was heavily harassed by my general manager and targeted multiple times in an attempt to have me lose my job which was eventually proven truthful as several current employees have sent text messages stating that Ms. Tasha has been telling everyone that would listen that she was “tired of being nice” to me etc. Overall my feelings are truly hurt because I really enjoyed my time with planet fitness and would have given anything for my time to have ended on better terms

Need to fix the connection to the TV sound quality horrible to much static but exercise equipment pretty good one of the staff that works here is horrible running around yelling at people she's a control freak she has a dry old wig funny shaped body can't tell her age because of mask but looks old a black woman.

I love this location. Its always clean. Lots of machines to choose from. The staff is very friendly and always there to assist you. Parking lot is well lit at night. Also I always see a MPD car sitting in the parking lot so I feel safe coming in and out alone at dark hours. I love the hydro beds! Nothing like getting a good workout in then a massage. Kennedy has to be my favorite employee there he is so patient, informative and professional. Also the people that come to workout out here have a chill, friendly vibe that I have encountered. I’m happy I found my new gym!

Perfect location! Although the facility is a tiny bit smaller than others in the area, it does have all that is needed to obtain a very productive workout👍. Various cardio and strength training equipment. Each and every staff member that I've encountered have been friendly, informative, and helpful; always encouraging you to enjoy your workout😀. Not to mention its extremely clean, I feel very comfortable due to their sanitized facility. I do not see me going to another PF in my area.

I absolutely adore going to Planet Fitness gym. It's like my second home. The moment I step inside, I instantly feel a sense of comfort and relaxation. Whether I'm hitting the weights or jumping on the treadmill, the atmosphere is just perfect. It's not too crowded, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Plus, the equipment is top-notch and well-maintained. I can truly say that working out at Planet Fitness feels like a cozy retreat, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Been here for about 3 months, love it. Staff is respectful, always clean. Equipment never out of service. The environment is great. People here clean up after themselves and respect time on the machines for the most part. Prefer this location over others I’ve tried in MD.
