As others said, nice open space, wide enough to have a picnic. She loves an open space!

One of the best parks in Osaka. Mainly because it has GRASS!!!

Wonderful park to just lay down and enjoy your night. A blissful break from the bustle of Osaka, and a great place to relax in the summer or spring. Surprisingly, you will find wildlife here. Large nutria in the bushes, and river otters in the river. Birds in the sky and around the beautiful flowers. Drinking in public is legal in Japan, so grab a drink from the conbini, hang out here to end your night peacefully. And just be sure to bring your trash back home with you :)

Great open space for everyone. This public area is usually filled with lots of kids and outdoor lovers. Now they are growing up its green.

This is the park where you should take your wife/girlfriend to (if she loves flowers!) <3 You can lay down at the park, bring some picnic blanket and some snacks (chain market is pretty far from here, more than 20mins walk from the nearest) although there's a vending machine :) so don't worry about being thirsty! I'd suggest you visit after 2 or 3 pm as the sun wont be as hot
