"Tsurumiryokuchi Park is located at the site of The International Garden and Greenery Exposition 1990, a world exhibition that featured the beauty of flowers. After the Expo, the site was turned into a memorial park which was designed to have flowers in bloom in every season. The park is 106 hectares in area, and has a large central pond. A windmill, the symbol of the park, stands on a hillside, while tulips, salvias, cosmos and other flowers blossom in every season. The park features grass fields, farms and rice paddies, and forests and ponds where you can observe insects, thousands of ducks and about 100 species of wild birds. There is also a rose garden which has 2,600 roses of some 450 varieties, as well as a Japanese garden with a tea ceremony house, and the International Garden which uses a variety of soils from different parts of the world. In addition, the park has streams and playground equipment where children can play, a camping and barbecue site, a horseback riding ground, an all-season swimming pool and a sports center. It's the perfect place to spend an entire day"

A very big garden but easy to find the way through the direction sign board. Its a great place for the elders to do morning exercise and a good site for kid's outing activities.

It was beautiful here on holidays, but when I came on another day, many little gardens were unavailable. It is necessary to wait for the blooming of certain flowers so that the garden is beautiful. Sometimes there are no blooming gardens here.

No ticket needed. It was a beautiful park. I came mid October. Air is fresh and breezy. Not too crowded, perhaps because it was weekday.

We had so much fun in this park by renting the Tsurumobi. The staffs are so helpful even thought we donโ€™t speak proper Japanese. This park are suitable for all ages even if you hv a senior citizen who canโ€™t walk much you can rent the sitting Tsurumobi to go around. We had our lunch here too! The food and view of the restaurant is amazing! Love it!

A Delightful Winter Escape with Golden Leaves and Family Fun I recently visited Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park in early December and was enchanted by its beauty even in the winter season. The park still showcased a stunning display of golden and red leaves, creating a picturesque and serene atmosphere. What impressed me the most was how kid-friendly the park is. They offer trolleys for little ones, making it convenient for families to explore the park together. There are ample spaces with tables where families can relax and enjoy a peaceful picnic amidst nature's charm. One of the highlights of my visit was the rose garden. Despite the time of year, the roses were in bloom, and their vibrant colors added a touch of elegance to the surroundings. It was a delightful sight that left me in awe. If you visit Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park on the weekend, don't miss the food market. I highly recommend trying the delicious pizza available there. It's the perfect treat to satisfy your taste buds while enjoying the park's ambiance. Moreover, Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park is a delightful winter escape that offers a mesmerizing display of golden and red leaves. it's worth noting that the park's pathways are flat and suitable for trolleys. Families with young children can bring their own trolleys or strollers to navigate the park comfortably. Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park's proximity to the subway station, the availability of a convenience store, and the accessibility for trolleys make it a convenient and family-friendly destination. Enjoy a seamless visit to the park and make the most of your time surrounded by nature's beauty. . The rose garden is a must-visit, and the weekend food market, particularly the pizza, is a delectable treat. Don't miss the chance to experience the park's beauty and enjoy a memorable outing with your loved ones.

The windmill is just one of the attractions. Lots of thing to see. Unfortunately the time i went there the rose section has not yet fully bloomed. But i can imagine that it will be magnificent by the time it blooms

It was early spring, the flower beds were so pretty and colorful. What I like most about this place is there's considerably amount of seating area for visitors. So you can sit and enjoy the picturesque view of the wind from many angles.

Amazingly beautiful park. To be perfect, you should go there when flowers bloom fully.

A great place to unwind.. the wind was too refreshing and calming. Met few people while at the top, they were so friendly one of them even volunteered to take a picture of me with this windmill as my backdrop. On the other hand a lot of people here go to jog. I really love this place.
