First time here. Had the pulled pork, hash and rice. It was great! A large portion of pulled pork. Staff was friendly and fast.

Absolute gem! Had the pulled pork, beans and green beans with new potatoes...so delicious! Did I mention how incredible the sweet tea is? It was perfection. Great customer service as well. A must stop if you are in the area. A +++++

My husband and I stopped to look at the nursery on a day they are serving BBQ….Needless to say the smells of food immediately caught our attention. The food is Absolutely hands down the best BBQ we have had in the Lowcountry! We WILL be Back! If you are looking for a small town feel with outstanding service and food, this is the place to go!! Very large portion with prices that don’t break the bank! We would have posted pics of the food but… we couldn’t help ourselves😂😂

Tomato pie, Mac and Cheese, and Potato Salad were SO GOOD!! I ate inside the enclosed, air conditioned dining room. Cute and cozy! You can watch TV while you eat there, or at the other outdoor eating area by the pond with a little waterfall. I'll eat there next time since the sound of the water was so relaxing. 😋

Been wanting to try this place for ages. Picked up a family brisket meal that definitely didn’t disappoint! We had to pick it up earlier before they ran out and reheated. So amazingly good!!! The bourbon pecan pie is absolutely amazing too!

This is a locally owned business. Mr. Dennis is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. The food is amazing and the venue is probably the most unique that I’ve visited in my lifetime. I’d recommend Baker’s to anyone without hesitation. This place is incredible and the family and staff are even more so.

I mean it when I say this is the best barbecue I have ever had. I’m born and raised in the low country and have never been more impressed with the customer service, the ambiance, and most importantly the food. My boyfriend and I got the brisket plate, the pulled pork sandwich, and for sides we got coleslaw (I have never had better slaw before sorry mom) red beans and rice, baked beans (highly recommend and I don’t eat beans) potato salad with a perfect amount of dill, and a side of the tomato pie. Every single bite was perfect and I can’t remember the last time I had that kind of first time experience. We’re already making plans for our next visit, if you’re looking for amazing barbecue in the low country you’ve found it!

By far the best BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Collards and succotash I've EVER HAD!!!! I kind of want to keep this place a secret, but I would be doing a disservice to all of human kind by not sharing the wealth.

The only thing bbq about this place is the bake beans.....I will never wast my time, money or eat there again...

I’ve always heard about this place so I decided to give it a shot today after I picked Cooper up. I dig it! I appreciate the various barbecue joints in the Tri-County area because each one of them has their own style and each one offers something that I love. Cooper’s barbecue sandwich was huge! The meatloaf was soft and flavorful. The red rice was different than what I have had but I enjoyed it and the baked beans had a hint of sweetness to them. They had mustard, vinegar-based and a red sweet barbecue sauce. I really liked the red sweet sauce. The mustard was good and the vinegar didn’t punch me in the throat too bad. The guys in the kitchen also hooked me up with a little sampling of brisket. Again, completely different than anything I’ve ever had but very flavorful and delicious. They are only open three days a week I believe so go check them out! Nap time 😴😴😴😴

My husband happened in there today - our first experience with this place. He ordered brisket, some mac & cheese, cornbread, and blueberry cobbler to go. All were delicious. But I'm really here about the brisket. I didn't realize when I started eating that my husband hadn't yet eaten (he was dropping food off to me at home) and when I found out, I had to literally stop myself from finishing it. He's lucky I love him so much because it was the best brisket I've ever had in my entire life. It's cut thick, but it's also sooo incredibly tender, juicy, and flavorful. We will be back... soon.

OK, being new to the area..after nearly 3 years we decided it was time to establish our favs..we have a fav. Mexican eatery El Alteno, a fav. expensive eatery Red Lobster.. so we needed a fav. BBQ eatery..we found it..Bakers Pond Garden And BBQ..wow! Though kinda on the expensive side..the food mmmm we loved the brisket..omg was that good..my mouth is watering just typing this! I won't lie..I wasn't impressed with the Mac n cheese..I'll try the cole slaw next..as I said delicious food..the best part is..they serve the meat sans the bbq sauce, you choose your own..pssst the vinegar and pepper sauce is my pick..which is a good thing coz our roommate isn't much for bbq sauce except my baby's which is homemade..tip for ya Bakers, Grandmas molasses entire bottle (s), ketchup, mustard and brown sugar...mix to taste.. Anyway, check out Bakers and for sure order the brisket! Staff is friendly and welcoming..in walks three women, eyes glazed over..drooling..met with huge smiles and encouraging words of welcome..safe to say..we will be back!

You know your at a BBQ place because of the smell but it's not super easy to find where to buy it at. Thankfully they have signs and arrows and the journey to it is totally worth it! Great sauces and sides and the people are incredibly kind! We came in just a few minutes before closing and they didn't mind one bit. Let us stay as long as we wanted and made sure we could have whatever we wanted. We will definitely be back!! --- After coming back again I'm continuing to be shocked by how good this place is! The tomato pie, ribs, tomatoes and okra, banana pudding... Literally everything we had was good. I want to try this place one more time but this may be the best BBQ I've ever had.

We always enjoy the BBQ here. The sides are equally good and they make wonderful desserts. I like that a local family runs the place. Also, they have some nice plants for sale outside.

First, I love BBQ, and SC has some good BBQ, but it’s not my style. I had been hesitant to try here, but after so many recommendations and people telling me they are different from the rest, I gave in. My hubby and I visited for lunch on a Saturday, not too long of a wait to order, and the food was ready very quickly. We wanted to try a few things so I got the BBQ Pork sandwich with red rice and green beans (with white taters in them too!) and the hubby got the brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans. We also snagged a piece of red velvet cake while there was a piece left. I wish we could have tried here sooner. You can smell the meat as soon as you enter, the serving portions are huge, but best of all the bbq is downright delicious, with sauce served on the side. Sauces are simple with 3 types available but they are done right and they are good. I’m not a vinegar BBQ fan, but the sweet red and mustard are actually quite good. The cake, I can’t even say enough. It tasted like grandma made that cake for the church dinner! Highly recommend and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The absolute best BBQ in the lowcountry! The pulled pork is phenomenal and the brisket melts in your mouth. And the setting is perfect. The water garden and all the plants just makes you think of being at the home of a family member. Oh, and take a BBQ pie to your next work party!!!

Ventured out for some BBQ here for the first time and will absolutely be going back! Got the brisket plate - perfectly seasoned, fell apart in your mouth, and great portions for the price. Great customer service as well. Cannot wait to return!

Great place to eat !!!! Highly recommend...the staff is family operated and very fast on the service. Very nice people ...the decorations and atmosphere makes you feel relaxed while enjoying our meal. The pork BBQ ribs are so tender and done the way it they should be cooked !!! Service, atmosphere, and hands down the best experience and BBQ I have ever had. Honestly the homemade sauces are great, but the secret dry rub is more than enough. Recipes past on for generations. This is as home grown as you can get. Come early. The food is in high demand. Better be hungry. Portions are large.

I’ve been here before for their pulled pork. But this brisket is absolutely amazing! It is so tender and not too fatty. The two sides I chose because I couldn’t decide which rice I wanted was the red rice and then their hash and rice. I was very pleasantly surprised how great both of these items were. Their red rice was fresh and Flavorful. The hash had a wonderful twang to it (like vinegar.) This will definitely be my to go when I don’t want to cook and want some comfort Southern food. Five yummms!!!

Took a break from Christmas shopping for bit and was able to scored big pts with my wife who requested a barbecue sandwich. Found this quaint little establishment in Summerville just outside the main drag. Food was fresh, full of flavor and done how Southern barbecue should be done. This is pulled pork, brisket, sausage succotash, and green beens with potatoes. Make the trip to this place…it doesn’t disappoint at all. And…They cater private events. Staff was very polite and the overall experience was another fond memory worth repeating.

Outstanding food and service! I had a whole BBQ dinner catered for my grandsons graduation party. The food was delivered on time, hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We had over 40 guests and all commented on how delicious all the food was. Everyone ate second servings and we still had leftovers for the Memorial Day holiday! Thank you Bakers BBQ! We will definitely use you again for our next big party and recommend you to everyone we know!

Unique place with amazing food, people were very nice!

Bakers barbecue allowed us to use their large dining room for a meeting today and it just went wonderfully. They even opened up early so we could use the room and it was just so convenient to eat lunch and have such incredible food at a fair price. They offered 9 different sides and Thursday they offer ribs which were just amazing. My wife had the pulled pork and said it was great along with the Mac and cheese for a side. The staff are amazing and very kind and accommodating. It truly was a wonderful day and I can’t say enough about the food the staff and this restaurant. Thank you. You made our day!

A really cool homey and vintage vibe! They were really friendly and helpful too. We got the family meal with half lb of BBQ and half lb of brisket. The mac and cheese was yummy and the sweet potatoes were just right. Got a slice of tomato pie and it was really good. We also tried the salted caramel chocolate cake and that was pretty tasty too! There is outside dining and an indoor section too.

Awesome bbq and meatloaf !!! Have lived and worked near this place for a while now, and I have always heard great things about the food, so of course, I was eager to try. I got the bbq sandwich with baked beans and potato salad, and my husband got the meatloaf with Mac and cheese and green beans. I also bought the salted carmal chocolate cake. Very good food and great portions as well. It's definitely a must try for everyone with great people. Can't wait to eat there again.

This BBQ was suggested by my colleagues from work, and they were right. Super tasty brisket. The best is the atmosphere. It looks like a combination of antique shops and restaurant :) It's definitely worth visiting.

LOVE the sitting areas. We sat by the waterfalls with the koi fishes and the kids were very entertained. Food was so good. We got the pulled pork, brisket, and meatloaf. Yellow and red sauce were very good.

The food was amazing, had a meatloaf family meal with mac and cheese, green beans and potatoes and peach cobbler. Was plenty for four and we added a side of beans. Also ordered a whole bourbon chocolate pecan pie. We were given a side of pork dip to try which was delicious! The food was amazing, all of it. The staff is so friendly makes you feel like family. The ambience is awesome. We got out food and sat near the waterfall, enjoyed our lunch and were able to social distance. The place is so quaint and exploding with character. I will return many times to come!

Staff were very personable and polite!...there was nothing on our plate we did not like, and the price was very reasonable considering the amount of food we got. We will definitely be back. (Hole in the wall, but they have indoor and outdoor seating!)

Super nice folks! We loved the bbque was delicious and we especially like the ribs, collards and banana pudding.

Ordered 4lbs of brisket to bring to a small family get together. Let's just say we were not disappointed! The brisket was cooked to perfection and it most certainly delivered on taste (wish I knew their rub recipe!). We typically go to Melvin's on Mt. P, but honestly, Baker's has the best BBQ in the Low Country. My family and I will most certainly drive out of our way to order from them again! #supportfamilyownedbusinesses

The brisket is amazing and the sausage succotash could be served as an entree it was so good. I would put their brisket up against any big business any day. I’m looking forward to trying the BBQ next time. Great quaint place! Highly recommended.

Great Food

First of all, this is the best BBQ and mac n cheese in town. Lots of sauces and ways to have it.. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. My wife loves the collard greens the most. We have been a few times and will keep coming back because they are the best!

Very nice friendly people food was a disappointment. Dry pulled pork, Ribs way over cooked I guess it can be pulled apart for a sandwich 🤷🏽‍♂️ under seasoned sides even the jiffy cornbread was burnt on the bottom church Mac n cheese ( noodles no flavor) rather travel to Rodney Scott’s downtown for much better quality and variety.
