👍👍 Busy place at lunch time. Had couple tables available. Sheryl came to our table within 1 minute, took drink and food order. Waiting time maybe five minutes for food. It was great. I’ll be back. Tuna salad sandwich with onion rings and ice tea.

Good Diner, can be a little loud if a lot people are eating.

Service and food all excellent! We so enjoyed our breakfast at Darrells! The coffee is so good! French toast and waffles all amazingly delicious 😋

Paying premium prices for less than mediocre food!! $60 for 2 adults and 1 child to eat breakfast!!! I love a good mom and pop diner and came here with high hopes. I was severely let down. I definitely don’t like being told I would be charged $3 for sharing my food, sorry but if my son wants some of what I have I’m going to let him have some. This place won’t substitute a sausage patty for a link seriously lol and they charge you for using a card. The food was gross and left me feeling very uncomfortable for the rest of the day, if you catch my drift. I do not recommend unless you’re looking to lose water weight fast.

Any place that charges 3% to use a credit card will never get my business. Credit card fees are a cost of doing business. I owned a 186 room resort with 3 bars and 2 restaurants on the property. On average I would pay over $100,000 a month in credit card fees but that was a small price to pay for the roughly $3.3/ $3.4 million a month mt resort took in as a result of accepting credit cards. Raise your prices by 3% and 99% of the people will never even notice. Charge someone for using a credit card and 99% of the people will notice. Better yet, only accept cash and have an ATM machine right in the restaurant. Then you have an all cash business and make an extra fee off of everyone who uses the ATM. Darrell needs to go to Business School.

The food is delicious, with reasonable prices. Our server was very friendly. Both meals were made wrong but corrected.

Food was mediocre.. asked for extra crispy home fries and got brown undercooked and hard. Sent them back for a refire and got the same thing back. Rye toast had gobs of unmelted margarine on it. The country fried steak was probably the best thing. My friends scrambled eggs were still runny.

Not very Impressed, staff was nice and attentive. Food could have been warmer, I personally enjoyed my toast more then the actual meal. Not my first option but certainly not my last either.

Pancakes are heavy, half-cooked goo. If a diner can't get pancakes right, they need to ask themselves if this is right business to be in. The corned beef was good, the Cole slaw could be mistaken for soup. It was literally swimming in sauce; inedible. The fries were also undercooked and mushy. It could've been 5 stars with just a little knowledge, skill and effort.

Waitress was friendly, food excellent. I had biscuits and gravy as good as Tennessee. We are new to the area and will be eating here OFTEN!

I don't very often give 5 stars. One of the best Mushroom/Swiss burgers I ever had. This was after church on Sunday, so it was busy, and still the service was outstanding. Hard to find a place like this. The other four I was with enjoyed theirs just as much.
