Went for birding, saw some great birds and painted buntings (female in pictures attached, Male was too quick)!!! I walked all trails available, had the best luck crossing the bridge on the way to the sinkhole. The boardwalk is nice, but you wont see many birds along there - it is too dense. Other good spot is just to the right of the tortoise and opossum, by the feeders. Not much luck at the bird blind.

Can't believe this place doesn't cost a thing to stay at!!! Free and it has water hookup and a porta-potty stocked with TP. The views are amazing and they have well marked trails for walking. It was supposed to be full from reservations, but we were 1 of 3 groups the entire stay.

This place used to be nice. This place is lacking to be kept up. they don't keep it up even though they used our taxes to build it they won't keep it maintained and bullet holes in the sign. grass is growing up on the trails. mosquitoes is ferocious. it's still nice but it just needs up kept. Not shut down. that's what it looks like they're trying to do. That's why three star.

Our go to park in the area. Been going there for over ten years. Be careful. There are water moccasins, coral snakes and gators everywhere. Very beautiful and peaceful area. Must visit withlacoochee river park when you are there. They have two nice playground, a lookout tower for visitors and many types of camping. You won't be disappointed.

This place is a little diamond in the rough. It's in date City Florida and if you didn't know it was there you would just pass it up. It has cabins to rent beautiful streams to sit and watch the Wild Life deers armadillos snakes alligators but it is very safe. Cabins you can rent really cheap and that are spotless inside.

I love this area! The observation tower is great and there are so many playgrounds and a lot of nature trails to enjoy. Dogs are welcome as long as they remain leashed.

The maps of trails could be clearer (the digital ones available). But lovely clean trails. Geocaching spot.

You need to make a reservation but there is no cost. You have to have a gate code to enter. There a roughly 12 (maybe more I didn't count) camping spots. They had a picnic table and ours had a roof over the picnic table. It also had non-potable water. So bring your own for drinking. It was pretty full. Everyone was friendly. My dogs enjoyed walking around and visiting with others. There is a pit toilet. It was clean.

I come to Green Swamp every fall and winter to hunt and camp. I love it here it's mostly the same family's season to season. The camp ground is good the people are nice the game is usually plentiful. A great place to day visit or stay for the season

Took the gravel bike out for 25 great miles. Lot of mosquitos and biting flies. However, a good dose of deet and no problem. Make sure you take a photo of the map at the kiosk, it'll help keep you on track.

No game to hunt here. You'll be lucky if you see any animals besides snakes and gators. Otherwise is waste of time...

This is our favorite trail. We have walked the whole trail many times and seen all kinds of wild animals and plants. Love it more and more.

A great hike through some real Florida. The trail was well maintained. Lots of parking space. The trail goes through multiple ecotones. Starting in wetland up into mesic hammock
