I don’t know what it is but from the first step you take in to the last step you take out… every single thing in there is amazing. The staff, super nice and quick. The food, delicious! The bathrooms, sparkly as can be. We enjoy our first time there. Amy took very good care of us. Welcomed us and recommended a few options. We cannot wait to go again. We appreciate the welcoming vibe in there. We came in 25 minutes before close and they still served everything with a smile. It was a last minute option for us but we appreciate you guys for not making us feel like we had to leave right away. We enjoyed our food and still finished a few minutes before closing. We will be back!

Nice Italian place that has been around a while. The service that we had was excellent. The pizza was very good. The cheesecake was phenomenal. I would definitely eat here again

We got a custom Hawaiian pizza, a White pizza, and chicken wings with honey sauce. They were all very good. The pizzas are a bit pricey. The garlic knots with mozarella were alright.

Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean! But the best part was the food! Everything was delicious! The only thing I got a picture of was the baked ziti pizza! It was great! The salad was a large bowl and plenty to share. I would highly recommend

The first time we came the wait was so long that we left. We decided to give it another try and now I understand why there is always a wait. The food is amazing! We got the drunken grandma pizza and I loved the simplicity of it. The wings and garlic knots were also really good!

I grew up working in the best Italian food mom and pop ever. This place stands shoulder to shoulder. This is phenomenal. Fresh. No corners cut. Bravo. If you love Italian food and haven’t been here you’re missing out.

Loved it! My wife is from NY and is always on the search for authentic NY pizza. I LOVE a good garlic knot. My wife is now looking for excuses to drive to the East Valley so we can eat there again (they are over an hour away from us). As good as the pizza and garlic knots were, the bruschetta was even better. Well worth a visit, but don't just drop in or you might be waiting awhile. Call and make a reservation.

My family loves the Chicken Francese, Baked Ziti Pizza, Greek Salad and the Tiramisu from Sal’s Gilbert Pizza. This place gets busy so be prepared to wait if you dine in. Had the chicken piselli tonight and that was excellent

Back after probably 15 years and pretty much as I remembered. No girls soccer team, just me and a client meeting for lunch. Great service with Joey, even though he's not from NY 😁

My buddy was told one of their best pizzas was the chicken Marsala with a Margherita pizza. We tried it and I wish I would’ve just got a regular pizza. It was cooked well, I just didn’t like the overwhelming sauce with mushrooms. Maybe I’ll try something different next time.

The pizza here is delicious! My husband and I came here because we saw the Dave Portnoy review and we love it. Our server, Maddie (or Maddy?) was so helpful and made great suggestions and brought us some free cannolis at the end! Definitely going to be back soon!!

A MUST RESTAURANT TO GRUB! I absolutely fell in love with the baked ziti pizza. I was unsure of what to expect, but you will not be disappointed. It was a quick bite to eat for us, and the server helped to expedite it. I will be coming back to bring the whole fam and some.

Last time we just got signature pizzas but this time we got a variety and a bottle of wine. All the food was great. Server was ho hum-no energy. I don't expect over the top Disneyland characters serving food but it felt like we were annoying her when all we were doing was trying to have a nice family dinner. In a covid world where we normally tip 18-20% I "only" gave her 15%

I don't know, I grew up on the Southside of Chicago, the real deal pizza, some of the best pizza restaurants in the country, one of the first things you check is what they make, calamari is a must, and anchovies as a topping, if a pizza place doesn't have those 2 things, it's not a good Italian restaurant, imo opinion of course, this place has both! This pizza is good, I would eat it everyday if I could. Check them out, you'll love it.

First time in a while I went into a pizza parlor and it smells like pizza. The entire establishment is top notch! And the pizza... best I had here in Arizona. You need to stop by here if you're in the area, or come out and try it.

We were pleasantly surprised when we popped in for a quick lunch on the outdoor patio. We had a half Grandma, half Grandpa pizza and it was definitely the savoury bite we were looking for. Enjoyed the outdoor patio, with easy access to your car when you're done. The service was chill but we were in a chill mood, so all good. Plenty of parking. Cheers!

We're visiting from The Villages (Fl). Stopped by to try the pizza when we saw that you could buy a slice. I had a pepperoni, and my wife had plain. Very good thin crust and good tasting cheese. We'll be sure to stop by before we head back home.

It was pretty good, got a half pepperoni/half sausage pizza that my family member picked up here the other day for take out. It's probably better in person fresh instead of sitting in a box for 15 minutes on the way home. Very crunchy crust, a little thinner than I'd like, but a lot of people really like that. The next time we do Sal's Pizza, we'll try it in-person and see if there's a difference - get a couple slices to try out, maybe try something different. Anyways, pretty good pizza, would recommend.

We got the large house salad and added grilled chicken. Pretty big salad. Then we got the extra pepperoni and cheese thin crust pizza. Pretty good. As we left I was looking at the pizzas in the case and I had wanted to try the baked ziti pizza and the lady nicely gave me a slice! So sweet. Would definitely return.

We tried Sal’s on a whim of wanting something different and we were pleasantly surprised! Our server Robert was fantastic and gave great recommendations! We’re typically boring pepperoni lovers but decided to try the drunken grandpa and WOW was it amazing!!!! The pepperoni was also tasty. We definitely found our new favorite little hidden gem 💖

Let me start out by saying, Sal's has, hands down, the best Lasagna and Garlic bread my wife and I have ever experienced. The Lasagna sliced like butter and the flavor explosion that transpired in my mouth shortly thereafter was like no other. The garlic bread was crazy thin and amazing. The usual garlic bread is thick with a lot of dough, not Sal's, perfectly thin and with just the right amount of garlic toppings. This is now our go to Italian place...you will love every morsel of food that they prepare. The benchmark for Italian food here in Arizona!!!
