Very nice and clean picnic site. You can either braai or enjoy a picnic. Private and shaded braai area. Just the place to have lunch when visiting Addo. 😋 🐘

We stopped here twice on our self game drives in Addo Elephant National Park to use the restrooms, stretch our legs and do some birding. The restrooms were very nice and clean. Much cleaner than you would expect in a remote place like this. They smelled very nice too! The fenced area is a 500 hectare “botanical reserve” set aside to protect and monitor the plantlife from the impact of elephants. You enter the area by pressing a button to open the fence. Once you get to the middle there is a large open area encircled by isolated picnic sites, each with a covered seating area and braai. It was very quiet on our visits and we were the only ones there.

Good location in the park. Great picnic facilities. No view unfortunately. It would also be great if Jack's had a small shop.

Great spot for a braai when you are in Addo Elephant Park. You can get clean toilets and a picnic spot with a braai stand.

Jack's Picnic Site was lovely - clean without any litter. We were in time to buy some delicious boerewors roll prepared by the rangers.

We love this oasis in the park. Clean and so well managed. The picnic sites each have a bench table and braai and are private and so pretty! Thanks SANPARKS for Jack's.

Nothing better than doing a game drive in Addo, the stopping at Jack's picnic site for a lekker braai in the bush. Each braai area is private and you must bring all your own goods. There are no litter bins, which means you must take all your rubbish with you when you leave. Ablutions were clean and well kept. Loved e ery minute.

Absolutely spotless. Loved the private little braai area and the hundreds of birds which come to greet you. Toilets were so clean. Little vases of spekboom dotted all over the ablution facility. So different to the unkempt Kruger National Park

Great haven in the middle of the park to relax, stretch the legs, have a bite to eat and use the abolutions. The whole camp is very clean and well laid out picnic and braai (BBQ) spots. The abolutions were exceptionally clean.

Each day we drive around Addo Elephant 🐘 Park, Jack's is the only place to get out and go to a toilet. It's our place to eat our lunch. If we brought meat to braai, we could do that as well. Bring your own rubbish bag and pack it out. No rubbish bins are available.
