Gotta admit I didn't know it's actually a theater, I thought it's a restaurant 😅🍴I just happened to go in because I was supposed to eat something, although there was a restaurant, or at least it looked like it. What I saw was the patina of the building, it appears in the interior and among other things in the seats. Since I love the old architecture and now that I've seen the place, I definitely have to go see some theater play!

Show was great but the staff should have thrown the drunks on the balcony out earlier.

Göta Lejon (The Lion of Göta) is an old cinema that was operational up to the middle of the eighties. Its big so after that is was used for concerts. Stiff Little Fingers almost recked the place and after that it has changed alot. Today its Theater and other cool stuff.

Nice place. But pretty old. Very steep stairs.

Intimate venue with good sound. Located in a cool part of town, close to many bars and restaurants. The bar is quite expensive and has average by the glass wine options. Good view from the front 6 or so rows on the gallery and the middle rows downstairs, I would not book the seats on the sides of the upstairs gallery. Try to get centre seats if you are upstairs, the speakers were obstructing our view at the end of the middle section rows.

Göta Lejon as a venue is great. Helpful staff and nice facilities. Easy to get to and plenty of good restaurants near by - makes for a an leisurely evening out if you are so inclined. Haven't been to a bad show yet so that's a plus in my book for the management.

A somewhat pompus entrance hides an even more greater scenery on the inside. I visited to see the Forever Piaf theatre. Even if songs was transscripted to swedish I still loved it.
