Well, it is the Swedish McDonald's they say, and that is true. They also said it is better than McDonald's, but that ain't true. It is the same "quality", normal fast food burger, not great not bad. You get what you expect.

MAX is a convenient vegan fast food place. For around 17€ you can get a vegan burger, fries, a drink, vegan nuggets and a vegan milkshake. The milkshake was alright, rest of the food was quite good! Compared to visiting MAX two years ago, I believe they've reduced some plastic.

I don’t recommend to eat here at all. Every plastic chair was broken with a crack on the seating. I couldn’t find a chair that wasn’t broken. It’s scary to get pinched between those hard plastic cracks. Furthermore, you will pay for your food and won’t have the right to use the toilet because they close it at 21. It’s not my problem if people don’t use the toilets properly. I don’t think that others should be punished for people who misbehave. Using the toilet is a basic human need. There’s people who need to change things, you know?. Absolutely tired of the entitlement that lately is establishing around paying for the toilets. I wonder what would happen if people started using the main entrance instead of the well prepared toilets. Soon they’ll charge us for simply breathing.

What can I say about max that hasn't been said already? you might say it's the perfect western "fast food" restaurant. Generally good quality burgers and an in depth menu to suit all dietary requirements. The service is prompt and the prices are reasonable. It stays open late too to service Stockholm's nightlife. For the type of restaurant it is I really don't see what else they could do to make it better. There are superior burger restaurants in Stockholm but they can never deliver to this level of convenience, I think a 4 would be too low, so I give it 5

Has a nice patio and rooftop to sit in though they close that area at around 7. Close to the metro and many shops. The top floor is quiet as well. It costs more than McDonald's which is surprising considering this is a local brand. Though they have a large selection of vegetarian options I had the crispy parmesan burger which is not truly vegetarian.. it is a burger that's trying to imitate meat which I find difficult to understand as someone who has lived on a plant based diet all my life, I WANT to taste the vegetables for what they are! Staff is nice. There isn't much of a wait time which is great as well. The sweet potato fries are lovely!

Medborgarplatsenin Max sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla metroaseman lähellä. Sinne pääsee myös monilla bussilinjoilla. Ravintolassa on itsepalvelukassat ja palvelu on ollut ripeää molemmilla käyntikerroilla. Ruoan laatu ja maku ovat pikaruokapaikkojen mittapuulla erinomaisia kuten Maxeissa yleensäkin. Tilojen viihtyisyys on keskitasoa, ja ravintolassa on maksuton WC. Max on erittäin hyvää vaihtelua amerikkalaisille pikaruokaketjuille.

Delicious burgers! Had a very good vegetarian burger experience: Grilloumi burger. Loved it! The restaurant itself was a bit dirty. Not at all comfortable chairs, but it was still worth it.

One of the better fastfood places in the area. All burgers are made to order. The ground floor was uncomfortably warm, upstairs was a lot cooler, there's also outside seating there. If you want to order a milkshake you are better off bringing your own straw because the paper straws that Max has can't handle milkshakes.

They call this "grand Buffalo chicken burger". It contains fried chicken, one slice of tomato, 3 pickles, tablespoon of lettuce, negligible amount of other ingredients and sauce. Significantly worse than when they released it. If they had enough with customers and would like to have less of them, this is a good strategy.

Typische Burger-Fast-Food-Kette in Stockholm. Die Qualität der Speisen war in Ordnung, aber auch nicht überragend, vgl. mit McDonalds. Die Sauberkeit war auch eher durchschnittlich. Ein Klo haben wir nicht gefunden. Es ist sehr laut. Unser Essen wurde dann auch nicht aufgerufen, obwohl es schon fertig war. Also für den schnellen Appetit okay, aber ich würde keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

I recently visited Max Burgers and, as a vegetarian, was disappointed to find that they had limited options available for non-meat eaters. Decent veggie burger w/L,T,O... US$7. Free table water. Pleasant upstairs indoor/outdoor terrace for people watching.

For a late night dinner, it was good. Jalapeno-cheese balls were fine, chicken jalapeno burger was better.

Burgers are a bit small but tasted great. Fries were good.

Essen ist lecker, der Shake war Oberklasse!! Geschmacklich super und mit vielen großen Schokostückchen! Der Service räumt fix nach und säubert schnell. Leider waren die Toiletten defekt und der Bacon aufm Burger war ganz wabbelig. Ansonsten komme ich gerne wieder!

My fave place. Always look forward to it when I come to Stockholm. The sauce selection is just perfect, make sure you have plenty of things to dip in it all .

First time eating there, absolutely no comparison to McDonald's or BurgerKing, it's still fast food, yes, but way better then similar fast food chains!

One of the best MAX restaurants in Sweden, it's always crowded but I still get my food very fast. It's really clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, keep up the good work!

First Swedish fast food I've eaten. Very good for the price. Shakes are really tasty and burgers are nice quality and filling. If you compare it to McDonald's or burger king outside of Sweden, Max is much better.

MAX is not only Sweden’s favourite hamburger restaurant chain, it is also one of the first. Back in 1968 the founders of MAX, Curt Bergfors and Britta Andersson, opened their first restaurant in Gällivare, high up in the northern part of Sweden.

Good for fast food. Prefer Max over other chains. Great buffalo wings and sweet potato fries.

Great late night eat, especially since there aren’t many (if any) other options available as late as we were out. Everything was great — especially their cheese sticks and jalapeño poppers. The pear shake was quite divine, as it’s not a flavor we’re used to in the States. 4stars because I didn’t print my receipt and the guy behind the register made me buy another sauce 🥲 Theyre cheap, so it was just a hassle, but I definitely paid for my first so it was a bit annoying. Can’t expect too much from fast food, but can’t give it 5stars after that.

Max, Sweden’s tastiest burgers! Original meal for 80 SEK. It is interesting that in Scandinavia fast food is not particularly cheaper than food in other restaurants. A big fast food joint with lots of seating. They have stopped offering straws with drinks due to environmental reasons.

Somehow it tastes better than any other Max I've been to.

I just separated from my friends after a few drinks, and just wanted to have a good veggie burger at max. I ordered a BBQ no chicken and instead got a burger wrapped in a fish burger wrapping paper without bbq sauce. I generally look forward to a veggie meal at max, but now I feel like I should double-check my orders from now on, so I know what I am getting served. Not knowing what I exactly got served really tainted experience. And killed my hunger. The restaurant was really full. So I had decided to take my order to go instead ... so therefore unfortunately I only had this unpleasant experience at home and couldn’t ask for a replacement.

Open late - till 4am I think. We went for a midnight burger after arriving on a night flight, after midnight it was only the downstairs bit open. Food was great as typical - especially the lovely thin fries and thick burger. Hit the spot! Well done Max!

Best place to eat Max (when it was not friday/saturday night). The view is nice on the second floor. They need to maintain the cleanliness though. After 1 year, I can feel the cleanliness has decreased a lot. Still better than other Max joint in my opinion.
