Got a chicken kebab wrap, hardly nowt in tub of chilli squashed all over in the bag and got told nothing we can do we're closing soon arr and it also come with a small bone as a side order 😡

Really good portion size and good quality fish. The chips were good but not the best I've had from a chippie. Didn't accept card payments. I'd go back though, good value.

The kebab chip butties with garlic and chilli sauce on the lunchtime special are huge and very nice. Unbelievable the kebab wrap on lunchtime special is huge and that's only a small one. Very nice food

I recommend this Chippy to all of you who maybe reading... This is a very good Chips and Fish plaice geddit? Seriously this is excellent... They have full range of burgers, full range of Pizzas (Which are very popular around the doors) and a whole range of the old British Fish & Chips Shop from fish cakes, Saveloys, battery sausage, fish bites, cheesy chips and so much more. This shop does a daytime school children set menu which is set lower just for them. Which is quite a nod to the local community... It's popular and if you know Hylton Road parking is anywhere facing any direction nobody give a hoot. The final praise goes to the staff who are patient, helpful, & know the food they're serving and the portions of chips are massive.

I fry used to be my favourite chippy ,food was great, portions were brilliant but the past few months its gone down hill ,portions have got smaller but price has gone up, also not much care goes into making the food like they used to , staff were very polite apart from the young girl who owns the place

I asked for a shawarma, "large chicken wrap" for 6.50. I waited about 12-14 minutes until the chicken was fried. The employee was polite and friendly, but without gloves, wiping his hands on a greasy towel. As a result, I received my bundle, and when I opened it, I saw this. Potatoes are just disgusting-tasteless cotton wool, the chicken is fried normally. But I ordered shawarma wrapped in pita bread with chicken, but it's more like a taco. 4/10. Sorry.

I have used this takeaway shop many times over years and always went for the large wrap, on my most recent visit a couple of month back, I was insulted as well as another customer in the shop by some lady that appeared to be some kind of higher management, the other staff were nice, but because of my experience I will not be going back. Aright food for a decent price, but dont expect much customer service

Rude staff disgusting food and they think nothing of pouring there jungle juice allover your food with out asking

Just had fishcake, chips and sausage. Sausage and fishcake disgusting tasted off.chips were ok.Used to be 1 of the best chippys around defo wnt be ordering from there again
