So
I
go
to
Goa's,
it's
happy
hour
supposedly,
2
courses
for
£15.95
but
we'll
talk
about
that
later🤔.
I
order
a
prawn
puri
for
starters,
which
was
very
tasty,
albeit
when
asked
if
I
wanted
it
'Asian
style'
like
my
main,
all
that
was
added
to
it
was
chilli
flakes
to
make
it
hotter.
For
mains
I
ordered
a
lamb
karahi,
Asian
style
hot
or
Madras
hot
(for
those
who
understand
what
I'm
getting
at)
a
garlic
and
coriander
naan.
The
curry
came
with
six
pieces
of
lamb,
padded
out
with
large
chunks
of
onion
and
sweet
capsicum
peppers.
The
photo
shows
half
of
what
came
to
"pad"
the
dish
out
as
I
ate
the
rest.
.
The
curry
itself
was
"flat",
ie
no
depth
of
flavour,
no
layers
.
The
garlic
and
coriander
naan
was
laced
in
ghee
and
soggy
not
crisp,
so
disappointed
overall
I'm
afraid.
I
had
high
expectations
of
Goa
and
attended
after
reading
some
of
what
I
thought
were
good
reviews.
I
can
say
the
service
was
attentive
without
being
too
over
zealous.
The
waiters
are
professional.
But
the
quality
of
the
food
is
what
makes
you
come
back,
nothing
else
really
for
me.
The
bill
comes,
it's
£18.45,
this
is
happy
hour?
£1.50
extra
for
asking
for
lamb?
£1.00
extra
for
a
'flavoured
naan'
mmm
not
sure
I
was
"happy"
in
the
happy
hour.
I
may
return
to
see
if
they
can
up
their
game.
