Me and my partner just ordered a battered cheeseburger and some cheesy chips about an hour ago. The food was sublime, cannot fault it at all, this would be a 5* review except they forgot the bun :’) otherwise perfection. Will definitely order again

Had corned beef pattie & jumbo sausage & chips, got to be the worst meal ever. Pattie was mush with stodgy soft batter, jumbo sausage was anaemic with soft stodgy batter & chips were mush and the carton of mushy peas was just pea soup. Wont be going back here ever again!

We've frequented this establishment from the week they opened. I can say with all honesty that I've never purchased fish and chips anywhere else ever since! All the staff are very friendly and polite. The portions are very generous and the quality of the food is absolutely beautiful. They're always busy and it's easy to see why once you taste the items on their menu. Another point to mention is that in our current climate of ever increasing inflation, they have managed to maintain their costs to accommodate their customers even when in all probability this is effecting their profits. People rarely take the time to leave positive reviews and feedback and I feel as though this business truly deserves some well warranted praise and appreciation for their commitment to serving their local community. 👏👍

Person who took our order was polite and helpful. However delivery was around 20 minutes/ half hour late. Then the smoky sausage was clearly a prepacked mattessons sausage that you can buy from the shop, so lacked that chip chop taste. Was so disappointed when I bit into it. The batter also seemed stale and had no crunch, it didnt seem fresh at all. Battered marsbars was the same it tasted like they wernt fresh and the batter was stodgy so ruined it completely. Best part of the meal was the curry and chips we got and the gravy and chips we got for the kids. However for 2 portions of chips and gravy and 2 portions of curry sauce and chips, 2 smoky sausages and 3 battered mars was not worth the £27 we paid.

Shop here quite regularly either through just eat or popping in if we've been out in the area. Kids chicken nuggets and chips could quite easily serve a child and an adult.give the kids the nuggets and a handful of chips still plenty of chips left over for the adult. Range of foods from fish shop to pizzeria , selection of pops too. Great little village fish shop. 👍

Relatively, cheep local fish and chips. The food is OK quality, but nothing write home about. The positives include great chips just what I was expecting and the staff all seem friendly. On the other hand the donner meat is low quality and very grainy. Also the garlic bread was basically flavourless. I am also slightly concerned about food hygiene considering wraps were left uncovered on the bottom shelf about 6 inches from the floor. Hopefully with a couple of small changes with can become a great fish and chips.

Called in to order fish bites and chips said 6-7 mins placed order and waited did notice two portions were cooked and waiting after 15 mins the two portions were made up and placed in warm section I asked if one was mine told no they were going to start cooking mine now Thanked them and walked out won’t be using them again
