My partner and I visited the rock bottom Malacca outlet - The Shore, and was very pleased with the service by all the staff. Food was great too. They were all very attentive to our needs. However I would like to commend staff Raiyan / Raisan. He was exceptionally excellent.

Lovely place to have a nice North Indian meal. It is located in The Shore complex. Food quality is very good with authentic Indian flavour. They serve alcoholic beverages as well. The food comes relatively fast and served with hospitality and a smile. The ambience is good. At times, the music can be loud. For cricket lovers, they can watch their favourite IPL matches as well while having their meals. Good place to have a gathering with friends. The payment mode is via cash and card. Discounts are available for corporate connections. Very good vege options are available. This place is also considered halal.

Wanted to make a compliment to a such incredible restaurant! The restaurant management is very nice and aims to help its customers even customising dishes. Here i could order gluten free food, that is very problematic to find around. I am delighted to recommend you this place if you have any allergies.

Vege briyani is a must try for me. It pairs perfectly with butter chicken. Huge serving too. I had a second meal within the same week. Ordered varuwel mutton and bread, plus a vege dhal. To me the varuwel mutton from Selvam is better as I can hardly taste the spice here. The food doesn't come cheap but I am happy for the quality of food that I paid for.

Good food but costlier than their JB branch. The service was really good and we were greeted friendly by Shekar who assisted us in various ways. The pakora was incredibly crispy and delicious. The vegetable platter was amazing and had assorted vegetarian starters. Overall, it’s a pretty good place to have dinner and it’s ambience is good。

Their semi-round chair very comfortable. The background songs not too loud , just enough to make the envinronment more vibrant. The pizza is delicious and the crews were very friendly.

The place is superb to hangout with good quality beers. The only downside is the prices are on the high side. Maybe it could be due to the tourist centric location but for local its quite pricey. Nevertheless the food quality and taste is awesome and the portion needs improvement.

First time in Rock Bottom Malacca and YOU have to go! Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Malacca. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The service we received from Nasir was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Malacca. Highly recommend!

We had pizza and it was surprisingly good. the sizzling fish was abit burnt. Lamb shoulder was so so with pathetic sides of just a smear of bland tasting pumpkin puree, same for the roasted chicken. we also ordered mashed eggplants north indian dishes with garlic Naan, quite nice but price is too high. one bowl of tasteless basmathi rice cause 12.00 (no taste, no fragrant) , quite disappointed. Overall it was not very distinct and tasty as I have tasted very good North Indian food in Melaka, definately better and less expensive then this. 5 of us we paid close to 400 bucks. however, the service of the waiter attending to us was very good.

I have recently visited rock bottom malacca.They are open for dining after long pandemic. Rock bottom follows covid 19 rules & regulations imposed by government with QR code system, temperature scanning, hand sanitiser & 1 meter social distancing. In fact they sanitise the seatings before & after you visit them for dining. I liked their Hawaiian pizza 🍕,tandoori & pina colada. Love their ambiance in heritage city. The boys were excellent in service. Will definitely visit again ..👍

Its exactly what you expect a bar to be. The food is good, drinks too. But i must say its expensive and the portions served are not worth the bucks paid. I have tasted richer tasting, larger portion north indian cuisine served with a 2/3 these price tags. All that said, the taste is good, has quite the ambience, just disagree with the pricing.

It's a really good place. I like the ambience, music, and food. The north Indian style briyani was out of this world, and I liked the rock bottom special fried chicken. It was crispy, spicy and a little bit sweet, goes well with beer.

It's a nice bar in a mall.. The environment is really nice, it has indoor and outdoor seating.. Service is good.. Been here couple of times, food is good but its quite expensive.. There's a variety of food from Indian cuisines to western cuisines.. Indian food is good but western cuisine can be improved.. Nice environment to drink with friends or to have a good dinner with friends.. Reduced a star because, on my opinion, the price for the portion we get, it's a little unsatisfactory and the western cuisines can be improved.. Overall, it's definitely a good place to have a good dinner or place to drink with friends..

Visited Rock Bottom on 4 Nov 2023 for dinner with about 8 families (22pax), with mixture of adults to toddlers, Chinese and Indians. It took me a while to find a good reviewed Indian cuisine restaurant in Malacca to host my Indian friends. The food was simply amazing, we ordered almost every type of dishes from North Indian to Western food, and every dish was simply awesome and delicious. It was so good we told the waiter to invite the chefs out for us to thank them personally for the great culinary skills and delicious food. The whole group loves the food!!!

Wonderful place. Very inviting. Food was amazing. I had the Char kway teow and wow this could be the best dish I ever tasted. My wife had butter chicken with a naan equally as nice she tells me. Her portion was huge and enough for 2 people ( if extra naan ordered ). I want more of this char kway teow, shame I’m from the UK otherwise I would treat myself every week to this dish. Amazing experience. Lovely friendly staff too.

The restaurant is particularly worth to visit for the fancy atmosphere of a really cool sports bar. The bar looks pretty good equipped and the tables with the surrounded couches makes you feel very comfortable. The service is outstanding, the waiters are absolutely attentive and try to anticipate each of the guests needs. The food itself is good but considering the price level more average.

The indian food is good compared to other restaurants in Melaka, we ordered for combo biryani , butter chicken , rotis and pasta.it is little expensive .once the drinks are ordered cannot be cancelled. Roti were hard , we asked them to reheat and add butter.Ask staff for for level of heat, especially if you are not accustomed to super spicy food. Combo biryani one piece of prawn , few mutton pieces and few chicken. Butter chicken,small cubes of chicken in a sauce that was rather tasteless and not spicy at all. The biryanis were not fragrant, were dry and very average. The moktails were good. The ambience were good , definitely a hang out place with your buddies.

Hands down, the best briyani I've tasted in a long time. Authentic with right amount of gravy and spices. Their aloo gobi was also very flavourful. 10/10 would recommend the briyani here to anyone. Slightly on the pricey end, but worth the money! The place is clean and well-kept too. It's located inside the mall and no parking fee is charged.

While the ambience, food and staff are above average, I wouldn't say the same with making a call to get reservations. There is no fixed line. Only contact number given is that of the manager. He is always NOT available. He doesn't respond to calls. You should employ a more responsible person.

Was craving for a good Briyani & butter masala. My friend recommended this place. The Briyani is so good. Butter masala taste exactly like i used to makan during my trip to New Delhi. Delicious & authentic. I add on naan too... Everything is freshly prepared upon order. Great friendly service by Mr Firdaus. The chef even came out & check on our food. Thanks to Chef Gansham & Chef Ujang for the awesome meal.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the charcoal grilled chicken to be a little "overcooked" for more delicious charcoal based flavor. The Palak Paneer (not pictured) had a dreamily creamy and soothing texture, the lamb curry was the absolute perfect level of spice and combination of coriander based flavor and the Tikka Masala featured amazingly tender chicken. The service was both very helpful and nonchalant, professional and friendly as well as patient, with kind recommendations by the manager as he guided us through our order. At some point, the music was turned up too loud for a conversation to continue at normal speaking volume but this got noticed and fixed very quickly by the manager. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I give a strong recommendation for the Indian food!

Spent our Christmas here and it's walking distance from The Shore Hotel and Residences. Suitable for a late night to chill and relax with family. They made us feel comfortable from the beginning. Nice restaurant serving fusion North Indian and western cuisines. The menu is extensive, with many choices to choose from.. like pizza to paratta. Great ambience, and sometimes they have live bands performance. It's non-halal as they also serve beer, lager, wine, vodka and rum. We ordered paratta prepared with different flavour like cheese, peppermint..also tried mutton curry, palak paneer, daal..all were good. But it is rather pricey. This restaurant is opposite Starbucks at the ground floor of The Shore shopping mall. You will not be disappointed, especially if you're someone who's not had much Indian food in your life. Western food, including pizza, is also served (which also has high reviews). Currently there's a 20% discount from Sunday through Tuesday nights. Malaccans would love that...

This restaurant bar is situated on the ground floor of the Shore shopping complex. Free parking readily available upstairs. The upbeat and modern setup of the restaurant compliments well with the oldies music videos played in premise. There's even a dedicated sports TV channel if you want to catch some soccer or cricket. Staff here is attentive and friendly, they will cater to your every need. It's Ladies Night on Thursday, so ladies will get 3 choices of freeflow cocktail/wine till 12am. The food and beverage menu here is quite vast, you can find it difficult to choose what you want. I highly recommend the Northern Indian dishes especially butter chicken with butter naan, it's the best definitely. Coupled with the tangy and creamy gravy, the naan really stands out like its the star here. The briyanis are another speciality here, the rice is not dry and it is very flavourful. It may seem to be pricey, but the food here is top class. You can also try the Western dishes or the pizzas as well. It's outstanding. A great place to come and unwind after a very busy day.

A very decent range of cocktails available here. Tried the Not as crowded on a weekend night. Ambience is rather noisy with a few tables that comes in a large group. Tried their AK47 and hurricane.

~So Wednesdays and Thursdays are Ladies Night hehe. My friends and I decided to to go here after having dinner (tho next time we plan to have dinner here as well as the menu looks good) to have drinks. I picked the Strawberry Margarita (they had three choices) as a free drink due to ladies night. I liked it but my friends did not enjoy it too much. The atmosphere was also nice, and the music wasn't too loud to the point where we couldn't hear each other talking.
