I wandered around the hospital when I first arrive after checking in my father. All the levels I explored, just came for the first time. This hospital is good, there is a Gloria Jean coffee house, in addition to the existing cafeteria. There are several convenient stores, surau and also a comfortable waiting room. So that's my experience taking care of my father at KPJ Rawang. Nice hospital with an excellent facilities, friendly staffs and also good service except for insurance process. But it's okay, still have room for improvement in the near future Next check-up is next month, the date is available and if you want to change the date, you have to inform in advance. Advised not to walk-in because it will be the last person because everyone who comes already has an appointment and their turn.

Poor Service and Bad experiences at KPJ Rawang If u ask me better to choose another Hospital. 1.Food are not delivered on time .. -Breakfast are served from 8.30am onwards only. -Sometimes lunch are served around 1.00pm . Have episodes food was not served at all ...when asked , mentioned our food was  delivered to different room. - I was served with unwashed Cup which was used by previous Patient wih all the waste foods in the cup...when i asked why was it so dirty...the staff just replied so rudely maybe the hot water was not working , did not apologise or even offered do i need a replacement cup. - Menu items may sound as delicious foods are served but you will for sure be dissappointed with the taste. - Food in the Cafe need to have some western or more varieties. 2. Unfriendly Nurses. - Not to mention on all the nurses but there are some friendly nurses too. - Some of the nurses need to be trained on hospitallity...they dont carry smile on their faces and also do not greet. - my son was admitted in paediatric wad , his drips was not working when i noticed it around 12.30am , I went to the counter and there wasnt any nurses there , after a few minutes i went again and manage to inform a nurse but she attended with a sour face and with unfriendly manner. I have been warded few times in other Hospitals even Government Hospital for my Dad but their services are far much more better . I will give credits to all the Parking staffs here who are more friendly and helpful ...they do greet with a smile ..offer alternative options on how to get discounts because earlier when i used Touch n Go Card i didnt enjoy those discounts, their staffs took the innitiative and explained. Overall ill say KPJ Rawang will only be my second Choice....I have no choice and choose KPJ Rawang just because i am staying nearby....

Really good to have private specialist like this, the only in one Rawang so far. Been having treatments (minor surgeries) here for me and family members. All great so far; the doctors, nurses, the staffs, facilities. They are accommodating me when I last minute wanted to change room before admission. At the time of this review, some floors (that is open for public) are under renovation. Should look good after this. Parking is limited though. I always plan my checkups in the morning to avoid circling for parking.

Insurance process took so long almost one day before my client could finally discharge & went home. It’s private hospital supposedly you give the best service to your patients. Hospital side didn’t respond to insurance company’s questionnaire that had been sent to the hospital at 2:15pm. My client had been waiting till 6:30pm. And it’s only after I called & asked why it took so long. Seriously???

terrible service.... broke my foot and admission took over 4 hours. ER doctor said it was probably just a sprain, orthopaedic doctor didn't come check until 20 hours later. no pain medication, not enough ice, nurses didn't know what was going on, they put me in maternity ward. the nurses made mistake with not giving me pain medicine but instead of apologising doctor told me i was harassing staff before he went to shout at nurses himself. horrible doctor said if you discharge now you have to pay for everything but i didn't care and just left.... still didn't get any medicine or cast, and when i went to different hospital they saw that i broke 3 bones. worst experience of my life, DO NOT EVER go here, waste of time and money and the most unpleasant and incompetent doctor i ever met

Facilities were all complete, only downside is the staffs over here. Almost all of them were unfriendly, arrogant. When we inquire them something, they’re late to attend us and they cant provide us with what we ‘re enquiring with.

A pleasant stay for my 3 years old kid at KPJ Rawang under Dr Sharifah. Doctors and nurses are well trained and politely handled patients under their care. Recommended Dr sharifah if you're looking for good paediatric doctor.

Hi there 3rd May 2021, its a Monday I called up to make an appointment to see the particular Doctor, the staff who answered the call and she passed the call ONLY speak in BM and none spoke to me in English and when I asked the staff at the doctors reception cant you speak English, she can ask me back cant you speak in English! Sorry is it ONLY for 1 sort of race? Or is it on purpose to speak BM? Then the management should be mentioned that sorry our services are for.....! And its not the first time that this sort of services are endoressed, please improvised and do conduct a proper training to support your patients if it is a foreigners, as it is very embarasing....Regards.

Worst hosp. Went for check up for coughing but was charged rm700. And the process was long. I had to wait for more than 3 hours. I prefer Shah Alam kpj or Thompson over here. Wayyy better.

You have an unprofessional doctor who mentioned something like "paperwork for insurance on MRI scan is a lot. You dont really need the scan." Patients want to be assured of their health and prevent unwanted health conditions. If you really can't do the paperwork or make it happen, give some comforting reasons to make the patient feel better. It really shows your insincerity and lack of skills in communicating with people who needed your help.

Extremely slow discharge process. Admitted two times and both took full day (9am to 5.30pm) to complete all the procedures for discharge. Nobody follow up the GL status and only start to follow up after being asked by patient.

Being regularly drop by to emergency department in the middle of night. Nurses are too slow and rude as well. We pay for your service and its not Free. Its okay if this is gov hospital and we have to wait follow the que or hearing the doctors or nurses mumbling or keep us waiting etc yet their service is still better than yours. We come to your hospital cause its near and urgent. How can you could ask an asthma patient to wait (sometimes longer) its really ridiculous. Upgrade or teach your staff nurse to handle urgent cases with appropriate action. They have so many time to chat. Dear Kpj Rawang please place well serve staff nurse/doctors and ensure your emergency department value for money.

Very arrogant Cardiologist in the ICU department who doesn’t show any empathy towards patients. Dismisses patients questions on cost and vitals as if we do not understand or lacking knowledge. Doesn’t try to understand us at all. Extremely bad experience in KPJ. Better not come here at all no matter what is the urgency. Never met such an ill mannered Doctor before in my experience.

3 times me and my wife choose to admit here as it was the closest to our home, the room overall was okay and amenities was sufficient but why does some of the nurses are very rude, like it was our fault calling them for assistance, please do your job as it is your responsibility, because i know i always ask nicely for assistance but the response i get is not tolerable. i appreciate for those who are very kind in going the extra mile when providing assistance. i don't know how an organisation within a hospital work, but would like for improvement of how some of the staff & nurse treat their patients

Nurul Aishah - Ward 103 The KPJ services serves very well along my admitted in KPJ Rawang. All nurses and doctor assisted me alot and gave the best solution for my lower back pain problem. It helps me to feel better by doing physiotherapy & some exercises that has been taught during the session. Waiting time too long until patient get too exhausted. GL counter took 40 minutes even not many patient. DIFFERENT In pantai hospital, after leave ic and medical card at gl counter, they ask patient to go straight to clinic n no need to wait there bcos They will send the gl to us in clinic. But in kpj rwg, i waited 40 minutes for same process.Then waiting for doctor consultation in kpj rwg also too long.even u already hv apointment time.u hv to wait about 2 hrs before doctor see u, even i came follow the appointment time. Total waiting time start frm registration, doctor consult until finish blood test,it tooks more than 4 hours. Compared to same service n procedure done in pantai hosp ipoh only 50 minutes settle. In kpj rwg,staff also not profesional. They bz chit chat on personal matters loudly,laughing loudly.no discipline n not respect patient. And careless . it happened when i settle all process, doctor n staff said can go back, After i went out frm kpj rwg premise, about one hour later they call me to infm that i have to fill up other form for insurance gl before opt date. which they forgot to tell me when i still in the kpj. Then the staff blame me that she already told me to fill up the form after done blood test. But my hubby n i clearly asked the doctor n the same staff if there is anything to do after the blood test. They said no. Then after we on the way home, they ask us to go back there to fill up the form. I was on the way back n heading to perak already . how can i go back? Very bad service of kpj rwg. After all the nightmare experiences, we decided to chg to pantai hosp ipoh which svc much more convenient as truly private specialist hospital with pro svc staff n doctor but the rate cheaper than kpj rwg. Not recomended kpj rwg. They only want ur money by suggest mri scan and admit ward 2 days before opt date. There are how kpj want to get more money frm u. Not happen in pantai ipoh, where the doctor scan n said no need to mri scan anymore. Save our money. Room rate also cheaper but convenient. Strongly not recomended to go to kpj rwg.

Been here for 3 night çöz our baby got slight fever. The hospitality was superb got affective doctor tq Dr koh and nice staff nurse. The room very nice got decent interior. The meal also good. Okay this is my experience with KPJ Rawang as a father of premature baby and pre eclampsia wife. I starting take their service on May 2021. I go for medical checkup for my pregnant wife. Everytime i took my wife for medical check up she always get high blood pressure at this hospital but the doctor said its a common thing for pregnant woman. We believe the doctor she said normal right. Then she only give a normal medication for pregnant woman. Every month we go for checking they always said normal and they try to take lowest bp record everytime we go there. Then after three month medical check up suddenly i wanna go back Perlis. Then we go medical check up at KPJ Perlis. The doctor diagnose my baby not grow following the graph. She give my Lexxa for maturing the lung of my baby. Then After a week we go check up at UTC Perlis. Over there my wife has been diagnosed pre eclampsia. Then have to undergo emergency surgery. My wife luckily not sawan but my son have some disability. I feel mad with KPJ Rawang for be like this we pay for consultation fee every time RM 500 is nothing. I want to make KPJ Rawang take this responsibility by operate my baby disability. If not i try to find any lawyer and sue kpj Rawang.

Yes, some emergency department nurses are kind of rude. The way they treat or talk to you are impatient compared to other private hospitals. Even some nurses from government hospitals are nicer. However, the nurses in the ward department are so much professional and friendly. Very different standards. Suggest to take serious note on staff training to maintain the hospital image overall!

The hospitality was good but with recent issues with COVID-19 and several more virus outbreaks, the rooms were full all the times and visitors were limit to 12yrs old and above which made it difficults to patient with small kids not allowed to be stay with them...

All is well. But discharge process need to be improved. Espacially during weekend where it is done at payment counter in ER because working hour for admin staff is until 12PM only. Imagine the crowd...

Submitted documents to medical record in May 2022, has been told TAT was 14 working days. Called to follow up in June and July, it was not done and even customer service dept said will give a call back but never. Now already August I haven't received response from the hospital. Being paid 80 upfront but the service not worth a cent!

few of the nurses/registration staffs don't understand in-patients pain. After surgery in-patients waiting too long meet doctor. In-patients surgery already in pain and they require to que same with normal walk in/out-patients. Better inform in-patient to come down after all regular/walk in appointment finished. Services are good and Dr Kho gives very good advices and care to our child but 1 important thing to take more control is to ensure all the hospital employees to wear the mask properly. Our daughter admitted lately and staying few nights, noticed some nurses at the ward will not wear mask when sitting at the working counter. Some nurses didn't even wear their mask fully/properly when entering into my child's room. We asked them to wear properly as we have sick child and worry to get further viruses from anyone during the stay. Moreover some nurses in the emergency department also didn't practice wearing the mask properly (some were not wearing while some half wearing). We saw signage asking people wearing masks in the hospital but not every staff is practicing. Understand everything is open up now but hospital remains as a very high risk place that everyone needs to be more alert to protect each other. Hope to see the improvement moving forward!

Bilik 423A - Overall experience is good and comfortable. Whole admission process was fast. The room is clean, the nurses are very responsive too. The only drawback was the water in the toilet did not have hot water.

Bed 410 - Recently had my surgery done and it was successful ✨ Dr. Prema Latha Supramaniam was my surgeon and she did a very good job explaining to me the procedure of the surgery. Overall my stay was very comfortable and all nurse team was very help and attentive. Food also delicious 🫶🏻

My recent experience at the hospital left much to be desired. The unprofessional conduct of the staff was evident as medical procedures were hastily initiated without prior discussion with the patient’s family. The request for the patient to shave on the bed added an uncomfortable element to an already concerning To exacerbate matters, it came to light that the attending doctor is not a permanent fixture at the hospital, working on a part-time basis. This revelation contributed to prolonged wait times, amplifying the inconvenience for patients seeking timely medical attention. A particularly disconcerting incident unfolded when a staff member of EMERGENCY ADMISSION STAFF seemingly engrossed in a phone conversation, pointed fingers and directed a visitor to another counter without verbal communication(happened at 6am-6.30am on 29/11/2023) This lack of courtesy and effective communication further emphasized the need for improved staff training and adherence to respectful patient interactions. Collectively, these instances underscore the imperative for the hospital administration to reevaluate their protocols, invest in staff training, and foster a more compassionate and respectful healthcare environment for all patrons.

Tip top hospitality. Very good reception with nice and friendly staff/employees. Up to standard facilities with good hygiene and cleanliness. I would strongly recommend this hospital. Keep it up.

The room is quite small for two bedded tho it is very clean and neat suitable for kids.

I have been patronising this medical facility since it opened its door 5-6 years back starting with my Executive Screening Programme which previously conducted at a Medical Centre located nearby my previous office. As KPJ Rawang situated within less than 10 minutes of average driving from my home, it is definitely more convenient to me and my family. Now it is more like a "second home" to me after having diagnosed with several health issues I'd rather not detail here. In overall, i am really satisfied and contented with the service rendered, even during this pandemic, It never failed me to get the best diagnosis and treatment. Thanks to the whole team, the physicians, the medical experts, the nurses, the caterer, and even the friendly cleaners too. The Gloria Jean and the small convenient shop are an added advantage to. However, to my dismay, this latest experience is the worst nightmare specifically for the discharge process whereby I had to wait for more than 10 hours, just simply because the staff in charge sluggishly took her own sweet time to reply the query email from my insurer.

Dr. Koh is so professional. Also, all the staffs are helpful and friendly. Best service!
