Park Avenue is four star hotel, but inside the room look like 1 or 2 star hotel, not worth of the money to stay here, the room are dirty, provide Tv is just sick of provide, cause all the channel are not clear,the shower head also dirty don’t know how to shower with that? And the mattress are spoiled pls look at all the photo I uploaded. Thank you

Room was spacious for family like us and have bath tub too. They have lifeguard at swimming pool and he will brief us do's and don't while at swimming pool. Buffet breakfast having many selection. Hotel staffs friendly and have a good customer service. Definately will come again 😉

Friendly staff, helpful, food was delicious, please do try their lamb chop at The Bistro, great price with great taste. The swimming pool was clean too with a lifeguard on duty. Furniture a bit old but they're clean so its okay. Room price also quite affordable given it's star and good service.

Hotel looks old, gloomy and old-fashioned. The bathtub gave us a shock, there are red stains which look like "blood" but realised it is probably due to the rusting. Suggest that they should change away their bathtubs. We changed room once, even the second room have similar stains in the bathtub. Was not comfortable to use it. Worst still, we have to stand in the bathtub to shower as the shower head is not removable. Toilet space was limited, especially for the toilet bowl area. Breakfast was expensive, 30RM per pax. Room uses yellow light for some, which gives off the creepy uneasy vibe. Better off for them to use white light instead. Wifi and aircon kept going on/off automatically. Honestly, disappointed for a 4 stars hotel in this area.

Everything for me is well and clean room without any comment. But the only bathtub, Please double and triple check the all the condition of room before give all guest to enter.. We pay for good service ! Anyway, Thank you for give me another room to change..👍 Another story i would like to share is - I order hot coffee at The Bistro Coffee House - Received the coffee with not hot condition, anyway i asked hotel staff to change the the coffee with make hot coffee again.. i like she to handle my complain with their smiling also friendly and she give me back with hot coffee.. Thank you ya ❤

Everything else are good. The Bistro cafe is superb. Staff are all polite and friendly. Can improve on these few; 1. Change old to new mattress for more comfy nights for the customers. 2. Repaint the furnitures to cover bits of peelings here and there from wear and tear and makeover the room 3. Room 725 has holes on the ceiling of bathroom probably due to leaking of water from the above floor. Please check. 4. The high lobby ceiling looks nice but the ceiling and aircond needs to be maintained properly. 5. The lobby restrooms perhaps needs some fragrance to make it smell good like spa. 6. One male staff from the kitchen who top up food and drinks at buffet breakfast only wear t-shirt, not the uniform worn by other staff. Perhaps get him to wear same or better because he handles food for customers.

This hotel is one of the better hotels in Sungai Petani in terms of overall class. It is near the highway south toll so people arriving here late at night could certainly stay overnight. The outdoor parking is no longer open to use but the basement parking is still available and free of charge. However, it is quite small and there is only 1 staircase (no elevator) to reach the hotel lobby. This is problematic for people parking here if they are carrying a wheelchair or baby stroller. If you are dropping off everyone at the lobby drop-off area before parking then it is fine but most of us would drive straight to parking first before anything else. The lobby is stunning especially at night when all the ceiling lights are on. The staffs there are mostly very friendly and are willing to answer your questions patiently. The bistro restaurant at the lobby serve buffet breakfast daily for hotel guests but please don’t plan your family buffet lunch here as the hotel only do buffet lunch when the restaurant is pack with people (it could be once or more each month and never consistent). Some of the biggest problems in this hotel are cleanliness, maintenance, and improvements. Not being able to fulfill this requirement should not be an excuse especially when your hotel is at such a scale. Some of the people staying in the hotel will most likely encounter problems and be left dissatisfied depending on which room they stay in. The overall room cleanliness should be addressed (carpet, bed, etc) and old furniture should be replaced. Not only that, simple amenities such as good tv reception and strong wifi connectivity should be available. I hope the hotel management will continue to improve and maintain the place to get more positive feedback from customers and guests because this hotel deserves to last for many more years to come.

We just recently organized and international taekwondo event in Park Avenue and the event was a hit, all the staff very professional, helpful, humble and polite. Good and quality food and beverages provided, overall a good venue for any event. Kudos to the hotel management and staff we thank you very much.

Location of the hotel is very strategic because its just at the exit of tol gate sungai petani. The room is clean, comfortable and big. Very convenient. The buffet breakfast also superb. Variety and delicious especially the local food. There is also bowling centre beside it but it opens only after 3pm. You may park your car outside or inside building.

Review based on Day 1 staying here. Will update the next day . Breakfast : Good selection of food for vegan . They topup their salad quite fast. The kuah lodeh is good too (vegan) . Loved their ubi's selection ( tapioca,sweet potato ) . Local delicacies are marvelous too. Room : Tbh, its not a brand new hotel, but it is well maintained. Bath tub can be used. They help to carry bag upstairs. The workers are excellent . Price : affordable for middle range b40. Because they have all the necessities, easy access to town, near the highway. Great cafes nearby. And free parking!

Worth staying here and value for the money. Strategic location, near many eating places and Sg Petani south Plus exit. Great view from my room..the sunrise view.

The location is easy to reach. But don't drive around during the time people go to work or coming back home from work. The food is great, generous portion and delicious. The service from the staff is tiptop, they great with smile and will assist you. I can't comment on rooms because I just enjoy the food

I recently stayed at Park Avenue, and I must say that the service was absolutely horrible. From check-in to check-out, I encountered numerous issues that left me thoroughly dissatisfied. The staff at the front desk were unhelpful, showing a complete lack of professionalism. The room I was assigned was in a state of disrepair, with stained carpets and worn-out furniture. The overall cleanliness of the room was questionable, as if it had not been properly maintained. I even noticed there were ants on the bed and I had rashes due to that. Furthermore, the noise levels within the hotel were excessive and disruptive, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep. My room was right beside another room that was being vacuumed at 12 am. Who uses the vacuum cleaner at midnight? Overall, my experience at Park Avenue was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay. I really hope Park Avenue to improve, so that they might get more customers.

This place was very good. The rooms are very comfortable. The staffs treated us so politely. The foods are very delicious also !! Honestly there's nothing wrong with this hotel. However the old pool guard guy was very annoying. He kept reminding us about the same thing. He also scolded my daughter bcs she accidentally splashed a little bit of water. He can just tell us properly not to jump or dive. He also embarrassed us by yelling so loudly Infront of other customers. It makes us really uncomfortable. Hope the management can make some improvements on this situation

Very beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable. Garden also green and picturesque. Specially, foods are delicious. I stayed 3 nights this hotel and everyday room was cleaned by housekeeping . I recommend this Lovely hotel for everyone.

Stayed 2 nights here with my wife taking a course. The deluxe queen room is spacious and comfortable. Kudos to the staff for the excellent service from the first day to welcoming to returning home. Just can't review the food because the voucher to eat at the cafeteria is only for one person. From the wife's response it's ok 👌

Plenty of parking slot available, the room is comfortable, just the breakfast session suddenly the waitress placed a reserve stand on my table halfway while i am having breakfast, and after ten minutes was asked to leave due to I occupied that reserve table?? it is a bit unpleased in the end, but overall the the staff are still friendly.

The Special Deluxe room that I got was nice and spacious. The staff all helpful and always smiling. The location is superb; it is right next to a highway and the main road but it is not packed with cars. Basement parking was well-lit and wide. Food was really delicious

Worse Internet service .. prepare to use your own phone as Internet hotspot . Luckily I have unlimited data from my maxis Postpaid so thats how I get by for Internet issues in this hotel Second complaints: Service is not resolving the issue with TV. There is only. one tv channel available in the whole hotel and that is tv3 only . Complained to the hotel about the tv, 3 technicians came to the room in the end after more than an hour .. problem still persists still cant get more than 1 channel on the tv. Look at the photo below ...so yeah no need to watch tv ... just go back hotel and sleep and thats about it.

Hotel is so out of date , bedroom is so dark and gloomy. Nowadays standing in a bathtub to shower in today's time is so unpractical , inconvenient and dangerous....just have a normal walk in shower and for godsakes a spray bidet would be helpful compared to one u have to bend down and turn to open and close, bathroom looks dirty abit but decent and little modern. Just saying no point having TV if it's so blurry to watch and just saying nowadays even cheaper hotels have smart tvs for streaming apps like Netflix , Amazon etc where customers just have to log in . Food is great but for the price a slightly more generous portion and more items in the menu would be great. I can see the effort to keep the hotel spectacular and clean . It's a 5 star hotel but the quality looks less than 3.

My regular hotel up north. If I visit north(Perlis or Kedah), I'll drive back southward to this hotel. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. Pleasant and friendly staffs. Reasonably priced.

EXCELLENT place to have a short/long staycation. They have their own bowling alley which is so convenient. Equipped with pool, restaurant, and also hall for function, from my perspective, this is the best hotel in Sungai Petani Kedah

Rooms r badly mantained, sewer line probably clogged, foul smell, bad ventilation, etc. Catered mostly for govt. functions, so tenants mostly paid for.. so no complain..

Amazing hospitality, comfortable place to be. Only little bit disappointed with the way of dealing with big head guest whom reserved parking. The receptionist were both very helpful and efficient. Forgot their names but both are beautiful ladies that were so nice.

Love this hotel. Always stay here during working travel. The Shower water pressure is high which i love it. The room is cozy, classically high class. The room rate is above average. During CMCO, breakfast become sets and fixed. Preferable last time is buffet breakfast. My opinion is since breakfast have change from buffet to fixed set, the room price rate shall lower down to match. Thanks

The place a bit run down, most probably due to MCO. The breakfast is worst, even "tasteless" need to re-define itself. Wifi provided but can't even load a webpage. No air-condition at lobby area, perhaps due to covid19 SOP, but this is Malaysia where humidity level is high. No air circulation mean you will suffocate even for short period of time during check in.

The best things about this hotel was the service. Very accommodating. Always smiling and polite. For business purposes, the desk is quite spacious and 2 chairs very comfortable. However I recommend bring your own wifi or broadband. The internet is very bad. The rooms quite clean however furniture is old. Much of the furniture is worn out and carpets need replaced. Overall, it was good and we will stay again. The room service was excellent!!! Food delicious!

I only give Park Avenue Hotel Bistro a 4 star. Because a few problem in your restaurant. I come around 8.15pm. Where they are not much guest around, but the food is soo late serve around 9.10pm. The drink come fast. Until the ice become water. I understand they got lots order from in house room service guest. I go ask the beautiful lady server, about our food. And she apologise for the delay. She even give us a complimentary cheese cake slice because long waiting. The cheesecake was super good. Thank u so much for that. Without that, I might give 2 star only. Just kidding.. The food was extraordinary delicious is a hotel 5 star standard with a way more cheaper price if compare to normal restaurant outside. I really love the mushroom soup and the chicken chop sauce was splendid. But only 1 problem. My sausage order never come.. I just keep quiet. I want them to notice. But it's not. Oh well.. Ur suppose to ask the guest "is everything OK?, how's the food? any food left?" but no.. I think u should improve on that. Its easy. Just ask costumer back because its important if u guys had forgot something. Its a basic standard of every 3, 4, 5 star hotel service. The dining hall not that busy anyway. Only after 9pm there more guest. I wanted to give tip money at 1st. But.. I don't give because of this. I'm OK. No problem. The toilet is clean. The singer voice on stage was beautiful. Everyone is friendly. Feel relax. I not really recommended my friends eat here just yet. I will give one more try next time I come. How got change in term of food delay and check back on food order. I always order 3,4 food to check what the restaurant mistake. Hope next time u guys more alert if want more customer to dine in. For what Sungei Petani is, this hotel is pretty decent all things considered. It’s very near the bus station/North-South expressway depending on how you get here. The rooms are dated, but well-maintained and clean. All rooms are also fitted with a bathtub.

First, as a 4star hotel it shouldn't be this.Because the room is full of smoke smell even a 2star hotel i live in Penang is better than this they even got television channel list this just food price list and item missing list *4star cant believe* above 8.0 at hotel website review so we book here because of the high review. one night stay here. the price for the room service is affordable. I ordered chicken chop for RM17 and it tasted good. The room is a lil bit old fashion but all the amenities are there. It is spacious. There’s along sofa next to the bed. Water pressure in bathroom is good. There’s bath tub too. Bear in mind , Park Avenue has been around for more than 10 years so don’t expect brand new bath tub and all. The breakfast buffet spread is good for me. They even served peknga ( pancakes with coconut) and steamed tapiocas, yam and sweet potatoes. The staffs at the restaurant are helpful and really efficient. You don’t see plates pilling up. Even the bellboy is very informative. Suggested what’s good on room service menu to me. There’s a pool at level 3.

We booked for deluxe double bed @ queen bed but intentionally they changed to double single bed. While we called the front desk, they said all room were occupied. Then, we went to front desk, they said there’s still room available. We got what we’re booking for. Just don’t tell the lie, tell the truth. Frustrated with front desk service.
