We fell in love with the New York location and thought we would try the Sunny Isles one to compare. Location and view especially from the patio was fantastic. Service was superb. The food was great but had room for improvement. I don’t like salty food in general, but the Branzino lacked salt, and my wife’s pasta could have use a little more as well. We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend this restaurant based on ambience and service alone.

I went with the girls for our first Miami Spice Lunch, since we got to the valet parking it was a great experience. The Hotel is gorgeous, as I said have valet parking that you can validate and pay only $10. The restaurant is very elegant, we were welcomed like royalty, the service was excellent. The menu for MS very well designed, great proportions and delicious. Personal extremely attentive, the only thing that I can say that didn’t pleased me is that they run out of stock of alcohol free beer, but I am not going to remove a star just because of that as the whole lunch was very pleasant. I will give an extra star to the staff and the Capitan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a nice Italian restaurant with beautiful outside sittings. We were here a few times and it was decent. I can’t rate it as a great fine dining, but it’s hard to find upscale restaurants in Sunny Isles. The restaurant is participating in Miami spice and offers brunch for 28$ on Sunday and it is Definitely worth to try. Seriously it is the best deal in Miami spice.

It is for sure a beautiful restaurant, with a wonderful view and outside sitting. Unfortunately I have to rate the ambiance extremely low because of the person in charge. From where I was sitting I could see and hear a very upset man, the manager, yelling at a few workers during a meeting. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. The person in charge obviously has no manners and needs to be retrained on how to handle a issues in a professional way and how treat his workers. It was extremely unnecessary and uncomfortable to see and hear this. Regardless of their mistakes a good manager should never behave like that in front of patrons. I must say the staff was fantastic and the level of service they provided must be priced. It’s a shame they were embarrassed like that by the person in charge.

Wonderful charming restaurant! The best service - professionalism is in everything. This place is very refined, fresh flowers on the tables, romantic atmosphere. We have been here several times. I highly recommend to try “Sunset Menu” there. You will have an unforgettable experience and will definitely find dishes to your taste. If you like seafood try the next two dishes: “Polipo Alla Griglia” - so delicious, octopus melt in mouth; “Filetto Di Branzino” - very tender and juicy.

This place is absolutely perfect for girls night out, date nights, meeting with friends, and just simply enjoying most delicious, sophisticated cocktails in Miami. The cocktail selection is SO ridiculously good, beautiful ambience, and EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Willi is THE BEST!!! He is hands down a highlight of our trip, and a MAGICIAN of his cocktail-creating skills. We enjoyed every second being here, and definitely will be back! Highly recommend!!!

The service was fabulous from beginning to the end. Everyone was very attentive and professional. We liked getting fresh cut cheese and an assortment of bread while we were reading the menu. The steak was super delicious and soft. The beef carpaccio was OK but was missing flavor. The drains were a little overpriced. For dessert we got a small happy anniversary cake on the house which was very lovely and we appreciated that nice gesture a lot! Ambience was nice It’s located in a nice resort by the water, it has cute tables and a two level floor plan. The lighting could use some update so that the room is lit up everywhere with soft lights and no hard light from the top that makes shadows on faces. Grappa after the food was great too!

Something has changed. Chef or personnel. It’s not as good as it used to be. Very disappointed. I wish them the best , but without me. Maybe they should go back to their beginnings and restart their recipes and make sure to taste them before they put them on the menu . I’m from Italian origin. I exclusively eat in Italian restaurants. This restaurant was one of Nation’s Best. Now it’s just another Italian restaurant. Too bad ..You guys need help…, and fast !!!!

Lovely place to dine. Outside seating is the best over looking pool and ocean front. Wish they had more of top shelf bourbon selection. I ordered the sea bass, which was a bit blend for me. Overall, it was a nice high-end restaurant to dine in.

5 stars is not enough for this gem, I would give it 10 if I could. The second we sat down we were bombarded with service, in a good way. They brought out some bruschetta, fried zucchini and a Parmesan cheese that I would fight my mom for. We had the octopus to start, fantastic. For the mains we had the Scampi Oreganata and the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese. If this was my last meal, I’d die a happy man. As we were undecided for dessert, they brought us a little platter with 3 options, chefs kiss. Overall, the restaurant is super intimate and is the perfect place to bring a loved one. I’m finding any excuse to come dine there again, bravo!

One of the best dining experiences I ever had! Been to il mulino once about 4 years ago so I decided to come back and take my boyfriend for a surprise birthday dinner. The staff made it extra special. We received the BEST service from Anthony and Maria. The drinks, food, atmosphere, and overall energy made for an unforgettable dinner.

The food and service are consistently excellent! It's expensive but worth it for great Italian food in a good environment. The atmosphere is very quiet so to speak and decor is kind of old for this restaurant. The bar is small but you can get great wines and cocktails.

Super elegant and delicious. We had the Osso buco, it comes with risotto (more than enough) and the Branzino. Highly recommended. The chocolate dessert: the best!

Staff were very professional and attentive. The dishes are lacking though. We had the pesto gnocchi and the rigatoni bolognese. Neither tasted near as fresh or flavorful as we are used to at places anywhere near this price range. Kudos to the great staff, but the food is uninspired and this place is surviving off it’s location and brand name.

Ate there 3 times this month on vacation. That alone is telling of what we think about this most delicious and comforting home cooked Italian food. Carlos, Ivan, Luiz and all the staff made us feel welcome as we dined outside over looking the pool and ocean. Zucchini and parmigiana to begin and fig grappa to the end, So excellent!!! Thank you.

My wife and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at this wonderful restaurant. The service is impeccable with every attention to detail. Oliver was an excellent example of service. My wife had the Spaghettini Alle Vongole Clams, Olive Oil, Garlic, Spicy Broth. She really enjoyed the flavor and the hint of spice. My selection was the Costoletta alla Parmigiana Pounded, breaded veal chop, marinara, imported cheese. This dish was unique in texture and flavors. It brought a delicacy to a traditional Italian veal dish. If you’re a Parmesan connoisseur, this dish is for you. The presentation looks like a delicious pizza. I want to thank the restaurant for doing such a great job with our wedding anniversary dinner. I am normally not a fan of eating at the resort for fine dining, however, this restaurant is an exception to the rule. Exquisite in every way.

Overpriced and terrible food stay away! We sent our food several times back as it was disgusting. The red snapper was extremely salty, and tasted very fishy and not fresh the steaks or not seared and look like raw pieces of meat. It has zero taste, and several people in our group just didn’t bother eating them or even sending back as they just gave up . It ended up costing us $400 per person for bad food and a bad experience We were a large group and with the mandatory tip and everything else our bill was $5000!! Our waiter was nice and tried to rectify things, but had no shot since the food and the replacements were terrible. The support staff was not great either and were pretty clueless. We will not be back.

The service was extraordinary and the food was delicious. I would recommend the filet mignon and the expresso panna cotta.

First of all I am not payed by anyone (like most of the "local guides" that are rating 4/5 stars this place, after a payment or a free dinner) so my review will be absolutely fair, honest and thorough. I visited Il Mulino with my family and my friend's family. Food is TERRIBLE (we were there on September 18th '22 so it is all trackable). Appetizers (fried zucchini and fried bread) soaking in a fried oil (not even dried before being served) of bad quality and smelling like something that was dipping in oil for a very long time. Main course was even worse. We had Saltimbocca. OMG! The most simple recipe in Italy literally killed by a chef. Plenty of salt, poor quality of the meat and a sort of gravy sauce mixed with burnt salvia and spinach underneath (see posted photo) without any culinary logic. My son got a kids beef fillet. Meat was of the poorest quality ever (like frozen) and french fries even worse (again dipping in the fried oil and not dried like the zucchini above). We tried something else to see if we could be finally luckier but even a simple chocolate cake was terrible, stiff and clearly badly conserved. This place is a NO-GO and definitely NOT an Italian eatery. It does not serve any quality food. I could not save anything except the server (Simon) that was very sweet, comprehensive and apologized several times when she saw we left the food on the table. One more suggestions, please do not trust the Miami Spice advertisement suggesting brunch at this place, the brunch menu is like a breakfast menu and definitely not as the brunch menu shown in their website. A clearly misleading advertisement to attract people. Summarizing an overall bad experience that we are not going to repeat. I neither blame the restaurant manager nor the chef but those we put them in such an exclusive place like Acqualina Resort. Such a poor food quality combined with poor culinary knowledge, bad restaurant organization is NOT acceptable, especially with that prices list!
