Darcie was the most incredibly helpful, friendly, genius, well informed and amazing employee at any Bunnings I’ve ever been to. She was amazing and helped me with a really difficult problem I was having. 11/10

This is a smaller Bunnings with personal, friendly service. We found what we needed quickly & when we asked about a trolley they spotted our pooch outside & asked if we wanted to bring her inside. Thought that was a sweet gesture.

Good little Bunnings. Smallest branch I've shopped in. But had really good variety..

I wanted to register and recognize Tanya from the Special Orders desk. Bunnings are Bunnings and service standards at each store vary greatly depending on store / day / time of day and of course Week End ! I had pretty poor service at Cannon Hill and was redirected to Mt Gravatt for a Kaboodle Kitchen item. Tanya was annoyed at the " run around" I had experienced, she tracked down the item I required, called ahead to a third Bunnings and had it set aside at Front Servoce Desk for me. I could moan about having to visit 3 Bunnings in one Sunday morning....but I prefer to say a big thank you to Tanya instead. A valuable and responsible Team Member she is !

This store is not for serious shopping. If you need to quickly fix something or some simple materials, then this will be enough. There are usually only a couple of workers and they are carefully hidden. There is usually only one cash register. There is no check out self-service.

I have had very bad experience with this Bunnings twice, this is with the same senior lady at the return dept. Always made it very hard to return (which the first time, I end up having to go to a different Bunnings and had no issue at all with the return). The second time, which is this morning, I came to return and re-purchase some light bulbs. This lady again handled the transaction and treated me in an unimaginable manner. Using a disrespectful manner, told me I should have leaving my shopping bag when enter the store if I wanted to return something, as they have many thieves (assuming a customer as thief? Have never been asked to leave our shopping bag at the front entering bunnings), kept mocking all my answers, talking to me in a disrespectful manner and end up making a wrong transaction, making me having to come back twice. Very disappointed if Bunnings won't do anything to this. This Bunnings seems having constant complaints about staffs.

I love the idea behind this Bunnings, it's great to have compact ones where big ones wouldn't fit so that people can still access them easily in the inner-city. The thing that lets it down is the staff. I've never complained about staff before, but the teenage/young boys who loudly complain about customers to each other within earshot of said customers and treat everyone like a burden were really nasty. And seem to be there every time I go at the moment, which has me going to other places instead when I can. Such a shame when a couple of people ruin a good thing.

Great little store, not as big as most but bigger than Loganholme, nice layout and well staffed whenever I've been there.

Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. Well stocked and clean venue. Venue doesn't have much in regards to Garden centre, but otherwise, couldn't fault.

Great location, bad car park as it's in a shared strip mall. Go early if you can. I go there most weekends for project supplies or just to browse the stock.

Small Bunnings. Had couple of times bad experience with staff. Once i brought faulty Ryobi drill in warranty and lady at the counter did not want to replace the drill (which has 3 years REPLACEMENT warranty) she was smart and explained me that i should not use the drill in second gear. Wanted to claim warranty and got the lesson how to use the tool. In Newstead Bunnings they were very helpful and there were no issues replacing the tool.

The staff are lovely. Slightly less product than other Bunnings, but have had what I have needed when I go. Love the no self serve.

I would NOT recommend this store. Staff (if you can ever find one) are rude, unhelpful and lazy. The manager isn't available to take a phone call, tried multiple times.

Staff are super helpful and had me and the correct parts out the door within 10 minutes. Will be back (and not because they are my local)!

Very helpful staff. I had a few unusual requests to help decorate my house for Halloween and they helped me find all kinds of alternative items. I even had a young guy run around the shop looking for me as he'd found an alternative to one of the items I was going to purchase. Very impressed and thankful!

Decent sized shop. Convenient location. Staff not exactly knowledgeable or helpful however

  • 4/5 Leonard K. 1 year ago on Google
Limited stock due to its comparatively small size, but well and truly holds pretty much everything you're going to need in a trip to Bunnings. Exceptionally helpful staff, as always.

Not as big as some of the other Bunnings stores... But more likely than not, you'll find what you need. Staff were friendly and personable and never too busy to help and provide advice.

A slightly smaller bunnings compared to other stores, it doesn't have a dedicated garden area, only a small shelf with some indoor plants. I would recommend going to the Bunnings in Mansfield on Wecker road, it has a much larger selection.

  • 3/5 Peter J. 1 year ago on Google
OK but you need to go to a larger Bunnings to be able to get some of the basics so range is far more limited. In saying that convenient for most of the basics.

Very much appreciate the store being open late (closes at 9, I think) - it's a great time to visit, avoid the rush and have time for a chat with the friendly and knowledgeable staff

Love me a Bunnings. Like any chain store the familiarity of a Bunnings is almost a comfort. This one does not have that comfort.

I tried to purchase 2 bolts for my Ryobi Mower in early July via my local Bunnings special orders. The bolts needed are 8mm x 6.5cm long. The first part they sent took 2 to 3 weeks to arrive but it was 4 to 5mm x 2cm long and only 1 bolt, so it was returned. Reordered after Bunnings a lot of toing and froing phone calls with Ryobi, a number of weeks later 2 bolts arrived 8mm x 4cm long, bolts not long enough but right thickness. So returned them by August 30 I cancelled the order as it had been 2 months and we had got absolutely nowhere. Thinking I could order the parts from a mower shop I realized Ryobi are sold exclusively by Bunnings, so no one else can order parts since confirmed by Ryobi. I telephoned the other local Bunnings (Bunnings Logan Road Mt Gravatt) and spoke to RUBY in Special Orders on 02/09/2022. I thought I was on another planet because Ruby was extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and had a CAN DO attitude, this was not the laid back attitude I experience normally. The right 2 bolts were received today 08/09/2022 within 1 week. My 5 star review is for Ruby alone not Bunnings. Thank you Ruby

A surprising wide variety of stock considering the smaller size of this Bunnings. Definitely head online to check if they stock if you're looking for something weird prior to popping in.

  • 4/5 Tamara G. 1 year ago on Google
The smaller of the 2 Mount Gravatt Bunnings. Has all the essentials. Ample parking, small garden selection.

Everything you need under 1 roof. Great layout. Aisles aren't too long so you can look down each aisle to see what you need. Other Bunnings are just too big making things hard to find. This one is a bit smaller and layed out so you can find what you need quickly and easily.

Was grabbing a few things close to closing time, and I overheard the shift manager rewarding a staff member with an early finish (with full pay). Manager noted for punctuality and following instruction, in essence "just for doing the things you are supposed to do" πŸ™‚ It may have only been 15-30mins, but I found the gesture outstanding. Well done Bunnings for cultivating a positive workplace culture and perhaps even staff loyalty πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It's a good Hammer Barn and you can buy a lot with your dollar-bucks. They own the Ryobi brand so when you destroy your Lithium Ion battery (by running it to empty and then leaving it like that for months) they will just swap it for a new one in the store. Awesome. Five stars!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Kody and Ashton in the timber yard were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help. Great teamwork and guided me through the entire construction of my retaining wall. I will definitely be coming back to this Bunnings. These boys deserve recognition for their helpful and polite etiquette.
