I decided to redeem a $20 voucher at the above store this morning and knew exactly what I was going to purchase, a travel pillow, on sale for $19.99 and was shocked to hear that I would not be able to use the credit as the price of the pillow was less than the voucher.(ie 1 cent in change needed to be returned to me) This is ludicrous,as vouchers are seen as cash and the same rounding up or down principles would apply. Or, is it a ruse to encourage customers to spend more in the store) Kathmandu update your clunky accounting system please.

Good products, Great Service! I came in over the weekend looking for some gear for a trip to Japan later in the month. The girls there were great, very helpful and knowledgeable and provided great information. The British girl had some great stories too. I'll definitely be back here for my next trip.

Decent outdoor/walking/traveling type clothing store. Mostly sell larger brand names that are all good quality but usually reasonably priced. Staff at this particular store have always been excellent whenever I have been there.

I’ve got a lot of Kathmandu gear. Mostly bought in London where it’s more reasonably priced. This store is not a reflection of the stores I’ve shopped at. No pricing on some items. Stand around with no assistance. Scanned my own item and got told off. Also I’ve looked for hiking accessories like a tarp and they don’t stock. Overall unimpressed by high price and poor service. I’ve purchased online which for me was a much better experience.

Stood in line waiting to buy some items three employees served the one lady in front of me who needed some item swapped, one of them stood there chatting to her while she's not purchasing anything. I stood there for over 10 minutes listening to them chit chat before I remembered there's other stores that sell the exact same products who probably have better customer service, I'll try them. Thanks, wont be back and I needed to buy a lot of products for our winter trip too. K2 Base Camp will get my money now instead. I didn't buy the product in the end. Just left the store because of the terrible service.

Dedicated and upbeat service here. Customer service was provided by giving me knowledge of the products I needed (trekking shoes) and advice and recommendations specific to my needs.

Excellent quality casual gear. I've bought quite a few items here over the years and they never seem to wear out. I first bought their fine merino wool long sleeve tops when living in a really cold climate about ten years ago and they are still as good as new and a classic basic style that never dates. The clothing absolutely pays for itself with performance, durability and style, but they often have great sales with huge price reductions.
