actually i didn't know about India food，but some of my south India friend had been bring me to try Dosa. I really liked Dosa、and recommend for my husband trying India food 。we order Dosa.Thali，and fry onion。wow the Thali surprised me,it was so so so big.very big box.may can for four people..and a lot sauce soup .my husband say to spicy 🌶the spicy for me i am okay. The price really good 👍

Fantastic South Indian food! Just keep in mind they only do takeout, no dine in, so this review is based on the food alone. There's so much good food worth trying here. Punugulu was decent but would have been better served with chutney. The poori and potato masala was amazing - the pooris (2) are huge and not too oily, and there's an ample quantity of the potato masala curry. The paratha (4) that comes with the veg kurma and dal curries was the highlight though and I will certainly be trying that again! One of the few times the quantity matches the quality of food. Highly recommend!

I tried their idly and Mysore masala dosa. Honestly I felt they serve one if the best Idly. Their idly us so soft, fresh, tasty, simply like homemade taste. It’s must to try. J would like to give 10/10 for Idly. But dosa was not that tasty. I honestly did not felt authenticity in the mysore flavor.

Easily the best value for money for a South Indian thali in the Bay area. I loved their curries, dal and kozhambu particularly. They also provide around 2 pounds of cooked rice. Sometimes I've even requested them to provide less as it's tough to finish it for one person. The thali easily lasts min 2-3 meals for me. I have also tried their bisibele bath and dosa items. They were delicious as well. They offer takeout/delivery only at the moment.

I am in San Jose for my daughter’s housewarming ceremony and they placed order for Lunch for about 80 invitees. The food was excellent, especially, the veg. biryani. The sweet double-ka-meeta (Hyderabad Special) was too yummy. I’m sure, in very few places in Hyderabad, we get this type of sumptuous food. 💐👍🙏👍. Keep it up.

Neat vegetarian take out options with good pricing and quantity. They do serve thali and a variety of dosas. Special rices are very decent and their curries are great. Do try their Jil Jil Jigarthanda which is terrific! Service is pretty quick and they are currently open only for take out and delivery.

Great place to try lots of southern India dishes. I have tried most of thier dosa, idli and vada options available. Food is tasty, hygenic and delicious. Plenty of parking in front of store so easy to quickly park and grab a takeout.

Ordered paneer bhurji dosa and mix veg uttapam. -No dine in, restaurant space filled with boxes, bikes and trash -Sambhaar was very sour and salty -Uttapam felt very raw and semi cooked -peanut and tomato chutney were very bad, coconut chutney was good -paneer dosa tasted good initially but Despite a lot of quantity Overall food didn’t seem very good quality specially the oil its made in and felt like a slog to finish. I started having stomach ache after eating.

masala dosa and combo 7 , both the options are awesome and goodly priced also, others may find waiting area very untidy, but i am ok with that, because i like the food and all the sambhar and chutneys they provide as extras.....

We ordered 2 Thalis. We were hoping to dine in but was informed that Google was corrected multiple times but whenever some system updates occurred it went back to include Dine-in which has not been available for some time. We ended up doing a take away. Had it for dinner and were amazed by the quantity provided and the taste so delicious. This truly will be our go to place if we crave for South Indian Thali. I ordered the ghee masala dosa and the portion was amazing for the price. Every side and the actual dosa was good. Only problem was that because they only do to-go orders, everything got half cold by the time I got home. They would do SO well if they had at least a couple of tables and chairs.

We ordered onion rava masala dosa, idli and vada. Everything was perfect. It's one of the few "best south Indian restaurants" in South bay.

Love their dosas and vegetable biryani. I've tried lots of places in the area. This place is my favorite for those two dishes. I particularly love their spring dosa. To the owners: please don't ever change your recipe!

Great south Indian breakfast. They have some nice selection of chutneys which are not found in other South-Indian restaurants. Sometimes the spice levels are too high in the dishes.

We order thali very often, its tasty and value for money. Can be easily shred by 2 people. They serve chapathi, korma, papd, veg pulao, pickle, curry, dal, sambhar, rasam, papad, curd and sweet.

Today first time I went to this place. I ordered three items and after reaching home I see there are only two items!! When I called them they were completely unapologetic! Moreover chutney was rotten!! Will never ever go again to this shady and egotistic place!!

Pros: 1. Good take out experience. They only do take outs, no dine ins, so this review is purely based on my take out experience. They probably had a dine in option before Covid. I ordered on the phone and my order was ready in about 20 minutes. 2. One of the best south Indian food we have tried in the bay area. It is a small family owned restaurant and that probably contributes to the homely taste. The food was very tasty and the spice levels were just right. We don't eat much spicy so their food was just right for us. We ordered plain dosas, pesarattu, bisi bele bhath (comes with sambar, lemon pickle, yogurt and fryums) and onion uttapam. Almost everything tasted like what you would get at home. Unlike other south Indian restaurants, sambar had more vegetables. Will try out their thali next time. 3. Reasonably priced. For our order, we paid around $10 per person for a one time meal. 4. Packaging of the food was good. No styrofoams used. Cons: 1. Not much to say. Just that the interior feels a bit crowded with supply boxes taking up some space. That is understandable as their focus is on providing good quality food in quick time and not on ambience.

The restaurant has so many vegetation food options. This is the only place in bay area where we can get the taste and feel of real south indian food. It's always fresh. The restaurant was very hygienic.staff were also very good and polite. Totally liked it

Very good south indian food. Takeout only. Multiple varieties of dosa . Very tasty dosas, sambar vadai and punugulu. Fresh chutneys which is not common in Indian restaurants particularly coconut chutney. Has the best tasting dosas in bay area. I would recommend they keep something like a parchment paper between the cut dosas. Otherwise they are sticking together and difficult to separate. Overall very happy woth the food.

I ordered idly wada and mix veg uttapam. They literally gave old stale food. The white coconut chutney was fine but the green and red were smelling bad only after few hours of buying. If you have old food do not risk customers health rather you should throw the food. I could have gotten food poisoning if I had that food.

This place is home away from home! Have been ordering from here since they opened and they have consistently provided same quality of food. You can tell food is cooked with love!

Very tasty and fresh authentic south indian food. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. All the items are very authentic and are provided when they are hot as well. They also have a very rare authentic beverage named Nannari Sharbat which is very tasty 😋😄

My go-to place for comfort food, and tailored for spicy food lovers. I’m not vegetarian, but this place has been one of my favorites for over 5 years. I work nights, and it is refreshing to be able to order food at 9:45 without being told the kitchen is closed. Quality has not suffered over the years. The coconut rice with pickle, spinach daal, beets (when available) and buttermilk are personal favorites, but everything is great. Professionalism and customer service has kept this place successful

Food is good, but their service sucks. When ordered food for pickup they mess up the order, don't bother to call back when they save they will call back to resolve issue. Bill wrong amount ( billed 65$ when messed up order costed 35$) and not correct it.They called back and offered money back for entire order and specified they can refund through cash only, as their online ordering system cannot refund. Provided details to them 1. Make sure they take steps to avoid order mismatch 2. Clearly call out in online system that refund or adjustments are not allowed online, so customers know what to expect. Over all as food quality is good, and owner is genuine and followed back to address the issues, I am happy with their service.

Amazing restaurant. The thali is excellent and reasonable price, the masala vada is excellent and everything is literally amazing on their menu. Everything is nominal and worth the price.
