The day I decided to stop by this restaurant, my friend and I were trying to find a really good Mediterranean spot to enjoy some food and we just happened to encounter this joint. The food here is nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed every last bit of food. We ordered the big boy platter which consists of a pork, chicken, and beef kebab. I have to say the pork was my favorite it was so tasty. For our side item we opted for the sweet potato fries and they were the crispiest sweet potatoe fries I've ever eaten. This is definitely my top rated greek restaurant. If you don't believe me try it for yourself.

Close your eyes and transfer yourself to Greece - great atmosphere with Greek music, memorabilia and of course delicious authentic food. Chef Angelo welcomes you to his home - typical Greek hospitality. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, there are options for you too. Go and visit the best taverna in town. Γειά σας!

Food is over rated in these reviews. Chicken was gross, fries tasted like bad oil, i called twice and was put on hold for 10min both times and when i arrived there was barely anyone in the restaurant???? Not authentic at all and overpriced for the quality of food and service.

Food is always fresh. Home made seasonings can’t be beat! Chicken Souvlaki is always juicy and tender. Best Gyro’s around, staff is always friendly and ready to serve up your meal fresh and quickly. Give it a try!

I visited in January 2021 and I have yet to find a place that sells steak kebabs that are as flavorful, tender, and juicy as Souvlaki Street. Everything was amazing. The owners are friendly and warm and excel in customer service. You can tell they love what they do and cook with that same love. My family lives in NC and we travel extensively and this place is the real deal. Every time we get kebabs or Souvlaki anywhere else we are always disappointed and comparing it to here. If you are in the area check it out you won't be disappointed!

Great lunch spot! The staff are friendly and the portions are great. We were promptly greeted and seated quickly. The inside decor gives a cozy vibe with Mediterranean music playing in the background. This is more of a quick service restaurant than a sit-down meal. Their portions for the platter were very generous as I couldn't finish. My husband's falafel pita was filled with toppings. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was great. I'd definitely stop back in here in a pinch for lunch.

The food was excellent the only reason why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 because my chicken was dry but my husband pork was tender and delicious. everything else was amazing. The service was great and friendly. I will definitely come back and try the food again. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

It was a nice find. The shrimp were rather small, they fill skewers to make it seem better. The rice was a bit hard, like it was mixed in with another batch, they give tons of rice. The chicken souvlaki was a bit overcooked and dry. The salad was good, although a bit soggy. Would come back and give another chance if in area. The fries were crispy and hot, loved by everyone, we should have gotten more. restaurant was clean, clean bathrooms and nice folks, very friendly.

This place feels genuine, easy to be transported to a different place with the decoration and the service. Gyros are the best I’ve try so far 😋 with plenty of meat and fresh salad ingredients. I will definitely return!!

Let me start with How Clean it is! I was impressed! That means a lot to me. We have passed it by several time’s always on Monday when they’re closed. We finally got to have dinner there yesterday The food was sensational! I’ve eaten in a lot of Greek restaurants but this was a no frills, delicious food the Gyros platter was huge! And so reasonable. The owner was there and was very gracious. I highly recommend you go experience the food yourself! 10 Stars ⭐️

If I buy a gyro I expect tzatziki sauce. Owner claims there was if that’s the case put more because my gyro didn’t come with one. That’s like ordering birria tacos with no birria sauce or nachos with no dip. I was told for inconvenience they’d make another one took my number and go back and owner handed me more sauce and he doesn’t give anything free understood. But won’t for back there again. Sad thing is my brother in law recommended it since he had a plate created or named after him because he’s a vegetarian. Yeah won’t go back.

Judging by it's namesake, you would think they had the best Souvlaki around - AND YOU'D BE RIGHT!! Absolutely the best Greek skewers I've ever had 🤩 I tried the Chicken Souvlaki and the Beef Souvlaki appetizers, each came with one **packed** skewer of moist perfectly seasoned char grilled meat, and a warm grilled pita. Also, I tried the Spanakopita (Spinach Pie) which was light and fluffy, and very flavorful, about a 3x5" portion. I got a small side of hummus to taste with my pita, and it was delicious and creamy, perfect texture. As if that wasn't enough food (it was, really) I wanted to try their Gyro (pronounced Yee-roh). It was MASSIVE! I have never seen such beautifully packed hand-held deliciousness wrapped in foil! The meat was tender and so moist - not dry at all. Pita was warm, not hard and not soggy. Tzatziki sauce inside and Greek salad elements (no feta) topping the meat. I admit, I ate it with a fork. The food was a hit, and I'd definitely come back again. The service was great. New girl behind the counter on her second day, was so welcoming and cheerful, even if she was still getting familiar with the menu. The owner and chef was behind the counter in the open concept kitchen, and was personable and helpful as well. Unassuming strip mall restaurant atmosphere, loud festive music playing, cute decor. If you find yourself on West Commercial, I highly recommend you try Souvlaki Street.

Very good food. Young lady looked away while handing me receipt, did not say thank you after I paid, with a modest tip. I could have tipped 0. Plus, she was looking while I was adding my tip to the digital screen. Maybe it's me, but I would have preferred a little courtesy at that time. My mom was there, and said she did greet us. Otherwise, very good. Owners, may I suggest, please teach your staff to greet guests, be courteous, smile and say thank you.

Food was very delicious! The gyro platter is massive and so good. Be careful eating the gyro meat because I had a small shard of bone in one. The spinach pie was very good, just wish it was a bigger piece and hotter.

Ordered a Giro pita that came out too fast in less than 5 minutes. I live 2 minutes away, when reaching home the meat was already cold. The Giro should be fully wrapped with the foil to contain the heat otherwise won't be hot by code.

Food was fresh and delicious. Prepared when you order. Definitely looking forward to having dinner there again. Customer service was outstanding. The Owner/chef(?) briefly greeted our table and inquired on how we enjoyed the gyro platter. We rang the bell 🛎🛎🛎 (you will understand when you go) a few times to display our appreciation.
