Very cute and spacious park. The splash pad area is a lot of fun for younger kids. Keep in mind it shuts down an hour before the park closes (so that’s at 7pm). The highlight for everyone was the little village. Such a cute sight to see, the traffic lights were all working, they had roads with stop signs. My 6 year old really enjoyed riding her bicycle around this mini city. The consistent theme here was slight disappointment because none of the doors to the buildings would open. The kids around us were disappointed. I was sure there was a good reason for that. Someone then advised people were doing not so nice things in the buildings at other parks so these doors would remain shut. Lovely walking trail with a nice view of the water, doggy park, volley ball and exercise machines. Edit: During the Summer the park closes later. Otherwise they close the gates at 5:30pm and we have to leave the park by 6pm.

I felt such pride sharing my neighborhood park with my girl friends for a pot luck meet-up. The park is meticulous; staff came around regularly to see if the garbage bins needed service. Parking and restrooms are convenient. I especially loved the open access to the pathway along the canal. I'm hopeful to take more and better advantage of this neighborhood gem.

The dog park is finally open!! After almost 4 years!! Beautiful 🥰❤️ park for pets, only one bad thing about the dog park. The water fountain for the dogs was not made easy for humans to collect water, the dog has to drink water directly from the fountain. Just go to the restroom get water on the bowl, or bring water from the house.

Perfect park for the day! Make sure you get food and water with you. There is not a restaurant or gift shop in the park. Restrooms very clean and the park. The little city it’s really fun for kids I just wish you could get into the little buildings. If they have a bike or kids scooter definitely take it with you they will drive them around. The water park is a good size and fun! The two playgrounds are also pretty good. Kids can go from one to another very easily.

Our next family adventure take us to Welleby Park located in Sunrise County FL. Incredible day we spend in the park with the kids they have fun all day. This place have anything you need to spend the day in family, from little water park to two playground for kids improve their Physical Development condition. Even if you bring your own bike you ride inside of city place or mini downtown building only for kids. With amazing different view from an big lake you can take an snap and cook a barbecue with the family, also you can fish if you followed the rule about fishing. High recommend place if you come to Sunrise County.

Welleby Park is a fun place for families. The little village is so much fun, the playground and splash pad are fantastic. Our girls love it! Pro tip: try to arrive before noon to really secure a nice shaded area.

Such a fun playground it is really big and they have a mini town which is so cute. They also have lots of grassy area and a nice paved path that goes around the lake/pond! The restrooms are super clean and the whole park is well kept. Also! We didn't use it but there is also a splash pad that looks like fun!

One of the best community parks I have ever seen. Great facilities, especially for picnics. I love that the pavilions offer gas grills.

My kids love Welleby Park. The mini town with traffic lights is a hit, especially after Christmas, when all the kids bring their new wheels to test out! It's on a lake, so mornings and evenings there is a nice breeze. There's also a splashpad... so pack everything bathingsuits, bikes, snacks/drinks for a picnic. You can literally set up base camp and stay for hours. For more ideas like this one, see us on Instagram @kidsinflorida

This park is the perfect place to be. There’s a gated dog park very large in size for your pups to enjoy themselves. They also have a life-like “town” for kids to walk or ride bikes and scooters through. It’s even has working street lights. The cutest. Plenty of pavilions and grass areas for picnics.

This was my first time in this cute little park! We absolutely loved it!!!! My favorite was the safety town. There is plenty of space for walkers, the is a splash pad and a playground. Very spacious. Bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. Will definitely be returning here with the little ones. ☀️

Nice park for the entire family. It was pretty pack but my kids had lots of fun lol there's plenty of things to do. They have a playground, splash pad, a small little city with buildings and actual street lights where they can either ride their bikes or battery operated cars/motorcycles. People are friendly too. They have vending machines near the splash area in case your little one gets thirsty or hungry. I noticed they had pavillions with grills and I also seen someone was throwing a little party and they even had a bounce house.

This park has to be the best park in Broward. Love the mini city with real working traffic lights and signs. The playground is somewhat divided by age or at least developmental level. Every time I go with the family we do a picnic since it borders a lake and has a lot of trees and grass ideal for a picnic and with the scenery is just perfect. The water park is free and AWESOME and it has a bridge to another HUGE section mostly grass ending in a baseball or soccer field. On the other side there’s a dog park divided by 3 weights which is great, considering our doggo is small but fatty hehe. And a little further it has a couple of volleyball courts, just the perfect park!

Took our daughter to Welleby Park today and had so much fun 💙 Located just outside of Coral Springs in Sunrise, Florida, the park is like a mini city complete with traffic lights, city buildings, and plenty of traffic! It was busy! The park also has an awesome splash pad, unique playground, doggy park, and plenty of trails. Bring your bike or power wheels!

WORTH THE DRIVE!!!!! We absolutely loved this park! Safety Town was our favorite part. However, this park also has a train playground, a climbing area, a splash pad, and picnic tables. Dont forget to bring your bikes, scooters, and roller blades. Pack lunches and spend the day here.

Used it as a location for wedding photos...a good mix of locations. Not many folks in the park, well manicured grass but look out for deep depressions hidden by grass. Shame part was blocked off for repairs...bridges and bridal photos go together. Recommend you check locations at identified time of day and if you carry studio lights take a couple of strong assistants the wind can be challenging.

I truly loved this park. Kids of all ages have a lot of fun riding their scooter, bicycle, roller skating or even walking through the small town (pretend city). The playground area is big enough for bigger kids and there is also a train with a slide at the end for the smaller ones. After playing under the heat, they can refresh themselves in the Splash pad 💦 The park has different pavillions, restrooms, vending machine, plenty of parking, a trail and a dog park 🐕. And best of all, is FREE. If you like my posts follow me on Instagram as @divine.southflorida for more places and activities in South Florida 🧡

This place is amazing for kids. The little town is so cute! Plenty of space for the kids to play and run around, I love that there are plenty of play areas for the kids, and the splash pad is super nice too. It does get packed though! I went on a Sunday mid morning and had to spend some time looking/waiting for a parking space. Given that the park is so spacious though it does not feel packed at all (maybe the parking area is too small for the amount of people visiting on weekends). The park also has a lot of green area, a very nice lake where (don’t quote me but) I think you can fish in, and gazebos that you can rent to have your events in.

Beautiful park. Great place for a walk, bike ride, play some soccer and so much more. A portion of the park is closed for renovations though.

This renovated park is amazing! Children splash area, a miniature city to give creative "what do I want to do when I'm older" ideas, and a model train through it! And yes, there's a playground for them. The exercise trail, fishing and walking trail for adults, and a dog park. I see you City of Sunrise!

Recently renovated, this park is clean and well kept. There is a free splash pad for small kids, a dog park for small, medium and large dogs, a walking path, restrooms, pavilions that can be rented or sat under when not in use, large grills available for usage, a cute “tiny neighborhood” bike path for kids and also a park. Parking is available. Lots of greenery to enjoy and of course the lovely welleby lake at the center of it all. You will enjoy this park!

Welleby Park is awesome. Looks like it is well kept (might be newly renovated). It has a bunch of play structures but the coolest thing is the mini town they have in the middle of it. It is super fun for all the kids. The is also a splashpad, restrooms facilities and huts with tables that look like they are great to host Birthday parties. The only thing to think take into consideration is that there is not a lot of shade around the playground so it can get really hot on a sunny day.

One of the best local parks in Sunrise. I love the new redesign and everything is SO CLEAN AND ORGANIZED!!! The water parks, the small replicate buildings, the actual parks are so fun, unique, and cute. Would host a party here.

Fun park for kids. Multiple areas to play in for all ages. The lake is fenced off which gives so much peace of mind for little kids running around it. There’s a large splash pad that my kids love and could spend hours in. Very clean. There’s an area with these big houses that my kids like to ride their scooters around too!

This is one of the best parks I have visited in South Florida, and that’s a lot to say!. The process to rent a pavilion is very easy with City of Sunrise. I love they allow non-residents to rent pavilions as well. The facilities are well maintained, the splash zone is great, playground is big, a little town is a charm for kids and the fact of having a lake visible from every point of the park just makes it beautiful and ventilated. I celebrated my son’s 3 year old party here and I can’t be happier with my decision.

Beautiful park for kids to play! They have playground and swings and splash pad. Took my Granddaughter there and we loved this park! They have a special area that has tiny homes and kids can ride bikes and be safe. She loves swings the best since she is only 1 1/2. Great area to have birthday parties! First time and will be back.
