Was looking for a place to walk and I came across this little park. It was really nice with lots of trees and shaded areas. There was also a little boardwalk trail over some marshy area. There is a decent size playground for the kids and also a couple of benches to sit down and have a picnic. I didn't really see any barbecues. There is public restrooms. The park is small so don't expect anything big but they do have a nice trail for walking or bicycling.

Fantastic park! My spouse and I went after work on Wed, May 3, 2023. The trail is about a half mile long to walk from end to end. There is a playground with a see-saw, monkey bars, slides, a giant frog and squirrel and one more. There are also swings. Plenty of picnic table areas for barbeque as well as having restrooms. It is a well-maintained park for all those looking to spend time reflecting, walking, hiking or just having fun. Recommend to all those in the area.

This park is a beautiful fusion of man made and natural elements. It feels like someone studied the philosophy behind japanese gardens before applying it to our native environment because it features and amplifies the beauty of our native plants with careful placement of all elements. This little park is impressive if you are a fan of nature. There's also plenty of areas for picnics and there is a playground but it is closed tight now due to COVID. I wish i knew who designed this park because i think they need to be recognized and awarded to be honest.

Oak Hammock is such a beautiful park! It has a big playground area for small ones, lots of picnic tables around the park and little pavilions with barbecue spots. I love the view to the canal, it’s so beautiful and peaceful to walk around. The parking lot isn’t huge but it’s enough, I think. There’s 2 restroom buildings with water fountains. Pets aren’t allowed. It’s a small park but has lots of space to use. 10/10⭐️

One of favorite parks. Has a nice little quiet trail. Easy to walk with kids and we enjoy looking at all the turtles and ducks. The parks are always well taken care of and bathrooms are always clean. Very spacious!

Very new and very nice, with a little something for everyone! Small, yet compact with a really well planned wetlands boardwalk.

A well maintained neighborhood park feeling like getaway without actually leaving town. We enjoyed an early Sunday stroll stopping to take in the various pavillions , woodland inspired areas, chess stations, wetland conservation boardwalk. The kids play ground is spacious and adorable. The restrooms are clean and tidy.

Within just a mile, the City of Sunrise built such a beautiful and magnificent park to experience nature in tree’s, water, and overall animal life. I’m telling you, if you just run/bike a mile here every morning, you’ll just appreciate nature a lot more. To add on, the parks are unique and fun.

Positive atmosphere for children. The park was nice and clean. The only thing that was uncomfortable was elderly gentlemen tanning on the dock with little clothes on but we just avoided that area.

This park is close by and I wanted to find a park that has smaller slides for a toddler. A lot parks have very large and tall slides. My Grand daughter and I went today and it such a beautiful park. This time we didn’t get to walk the park. She had a lot of fun.

This park is a perfect slice of heaven... Quiet and peaceful With a nice walking trail. My wife happened to secretly book a pavilion for a surprise birthday party for me.... Our plan to stop at the park was not Out of the ordinary so I thought nothing of it however when we arrived my entire family was standing there awaiting me! Her experience in renting the pavilion was very easy and upon her arrival. They unlock the barbecue and got it started Making this the easiest barbecue we have ever thrown. We did not have little kids in our party. However there is a beautiful park for kids to play which we walked past.... They are over the water deck is so nice to walk through and very unique to the area as it preserves the a natural land. I have only had great experiences at this park with the patrons that spend their time there. Most people are friendly. The parks and recreation crew were readily available to assist and answer any questions we had. Thankfully the weather played well in our favor because we had a sunny beautiful day together.... And my birthday was awesome. Thank you to the crew that takes care of this park.... You're all awesome! A couple of side notes... The bathrooms are very clean and well kept... There is a gas station close by if you need ice and a Publix if You need any additional items. I will definitely be back to enjoy Oak Hammock Park With family and friends.... And we are already planning our next pavilion rental. Just to have a simple get together as we had such a great time. The price was convenient and We already received the Refund for the deposit. Go check it out and Enjoy yourselves taking in the views.

Lovely park with play area, nature area, party area and more. You won't be able to spot all that from the street though so go in and walk to be surprised with how much the park unfolds before your eyes.
