Absolutely love shopping at Kmart but this Kmart is in need of better customer service. As I was shopping I was followed by staff, spoken about over the ear pieces, confronted wrong and accused of stealing all because I opened my drink before paying for it. Which I always do and most people do while shopping. The lady came up to me yelling, stood about 5 meters away from me, in front of other customers saying “you can’t do that, you’re stealing, you’re on camera so be careful, when you come to the check out you better have it in your hand and pay for it”. Instead of asking me if I could come back to the counter and pay for it then continue with my shopping. I was also trying to find someone at 8:30 at night to come unlock my car because I locked the keys inside, so I was standing around most of the time on the phone. You DO NOT approach a customer accusing them of stealing, when there are so many better ways to go about it. I was then asked at the front doors if we had anything in our pockets and was asked to empty them and show them. Even though they already scanned my receipt and followed us the whole time. Please speak to your staff about this situation and have it resolved. No customer should be followed and spoken about either. Instead of enjoying a great place and getting a few things I needed, I was stalked and yelled at. Not a great look!

I returned to Kmart this evening to return an item I purchased that was opened when purchased receipt in toe because there were 3 items missing. The manager LINDA made me feel like a hindrance snatching things and telling me she was checking the cameras. (Made me feel like she thought i was a criminal) She came back and Said I can't do anything because it wasn't opened. I advised her it was and told her I will request copies of the camera footage because it was opened and only one of them on the shelf. She said dont you threaten me. I said I did not threaten you at all. She said it only comes with 1 item. I showed her the packaging and read it out there was clearly 3 items missing. She stood there pulling horrible faces at me and I told her not to do that she said again it was not opened. I told her I would escalate things to higher up and she called another manager Emma over who was absolutely lovely and I explained what had occurred, she explained the store policy and advised next time we buy something that's opened show someone sp they can note it down. I said next time I'll make sure it's all there. Emma replaced the item. The poor young man working behind the customer service counter was apologetic and said that should not have happened, told him he need not apologise he had done nothing wrong. Linda certainly should not be in customer service let alone management. DO BETTER LINDA!

Was moving a big dog bed back onto the shelf that was half hanging onto the floor, locked eyes with a staff member while doing it and she proceeded to call ‘security’ over to me because she thought I was stealing and hiding the evidence. Of course, they didn’t find anything, but the 3 of them then proceeded to hang around the isles around me trying to not act suss while simultaneously being so beyond obvious about trying to catch me in the act with the constant walking past the isles I was in and taking a peep. You’d think after not finding anything and it obviously being a false call, you’d go do something better with your time instead of making an innocent customer feel uncomfortable in your store. Makes me wanna steal :)

Went in to buy a pair of thongs ended up coming in and being chained to a ball and forced to work until finally being released and being able to purchase my thongs!

I called KMart Caloundra this morning and a wonderful team member named Jodie went beyond and got the product l needed and it wasn't her department I would just like to say a huge thank you to her

Always a good place to buy cheap and moderate quality stuffs. I especially love their home decorations!

Very handy Kmart if your staying in Caloundra. Close to the main street located within the Stockland shopping centre in Caloundra. Busy store stocking budget priced item for the home and clothing.

Great clean store helpful staff. Checking receipts is just how department store are in todays society. I like reduced items and plenty of choice in the clothing section. Lots of parking and open when I forget or need something. Ten out of ten.
