Very impressed with the food here. Actually one of the best eggplant curries I've had & I've had a few both here & in India. Well spiced, order it hot & you will get it! The basmati rice was done well too.. fluffy & separate. Very attentive, unobtrusive service

The curries are excellent. Great range, fresh, full of flavour, not too oily, generous portions and reasonable prices. The food is always top notch and there’s never a compromise on quality. The staff is very polite and friendly and its a pleasure to eat in such a wonderful restaurant. I really hope that you guys keep continuing what you do and keep serving yummy food! All the very best guys!👍

We were a bit cautious at first with previous reviews but very glad we made the effort to try out Indiyum. Wonderful service and great range of curries on offer. Decent level of heat in the vindaloo and beautifully cooked! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for a great meal!

Delicious. Friendly service. Family run. Reasonably priced. Stones throw from beach and boardwalk. Had malai kofta, chicken rogan josh and chicken korma. All tasty.

As regular holiday goers to Caloundra, Indiyum was historically one of our family favourites. Like others sadly we had decided to find other places for our fix of Indian over the past year or two because of falling standards. On a recent visit to Caloundra we were excited to see the old favourite under new management and decided to give it another try. We are really pleased we did. The food was very good and service atrentive. A generous family platter of starters and good range of curry mainstays that all hit the mark. The goat curry was excellent (though be careful of bones with kids). We particularly enjoyed the Kashmiri naan. Hopefully this is the start of a long and successful future for the new owners of Indiyum!

I had heard about the change in owners and chef, so thought I needed to see for myself. I wasn't a fan previously, but tonight's meal was great! Having been to India many times, the food rates highly with some of the best meals I've had during my past travels.

We were enthusiastic regulars here, back in the day when Indiyum was almost an institution in Caloundra, before a series of unfortunate changes saw it lose its way and its reputation. We visited on Monday (01/08) when it had been operating for about 10 days under its new management. Good food, great menu, generous portions, extremely reasonable prices, combined with very affable and personable front of house staff all bode well for a welcome return to its former glories. The chicken kadai was particularly good. The message is simple - forget the past disappointments and support the new team, so we can all benefit from its reinstatement as Caloundra's go-to Indian restaurant.

Really good service under new management. Very friendly. I had booked for about 30p for my son’s birthday Food service was quick. Delicious freshly made food. I was surprised when I saw a review of just under 4star in google for this place. I can say that this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the coast. I recommend to try it if you like indian food. Thank you Indiyum team for great service.

Absolutely loved it! We had the Butter chicken with coconut rice and it was divine. The service was friendly, and when we arrived to pick up our takeaway at the designated time, our food was ready and steaming hot. Couldn't be happier.

Since the new owners took over the food is even better with a lot more choice on the menu. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Have visited here at least 5 times and will definitely be coming back - so affordable!

We are staying in the hotel above so decided to try here after smelling the delicious aroma on our way in. Absolutely lovely, the service was so friendly, meals came out extremely fast. I asked for papadums for my daughter and the waiter brought them out immediately for us. The butter chicken and coconut rice was the best I have had in years and years. I wish they were in our home town!!

Loved their food and the best customer service experience I ever had at any Indian restaurant so far. Their food is very yummy and comes in reasonable price and quantity. Kudos to the new team and they are worth the hype. I would love to go there again and again. Your restaurant will be in our list to visit often as we don’t have many in our list. Thanks for the excellent service.

Visited Indiyum last Saturday, lovely friendly welcome, but the main highlight was the food! The butter chicken was to die for, and the lamb Rogan Josh and Kadhai Beef were amazing. Will definitely be back. One warning, book a table, this place gets busy and justifiably so!

Indiyum is once again my favourite Indian curry restaurant in Caloundra. With the new owners and management quality has once again returned. Could not fault the service or food. We will be back.✅

Not to mention, the standout perfectly cooked Indian food with perfect flavours. Had a great diner on a Saturday night. Food was very good but special mention for the waitress running the front/show just by herself and especially dealing with UNEDUCATED Australian… Thank you 🙏

Absolutely top notch food. I ordered the half chicken tandoori entree and actually got half a whole chicken (cut into pieces), which was more than I bargained for. You could eat it as a main. I wish I could have eaten all of my main/rice/naan. But it's a good problem to have 😋

Walked past and could smell the most amazing aroma. We went in and were greeted by lovely staff and had the most amazing meal, so fresh and full of flavour. Can't wait to eat here again soon

We have ordered Vegetarian plater which was nice and chicken tikka. Chicken was boiled, rather then marinated, we didn't like it so much. Chicken kadhai was nice so was naan. Service was accomodating and polite. There is a good list of drinks. Restaurant is byo too.

Worst experience someone can ever get from this place. I have ordered chicken biriyani over uber and got spicy rice mixed with flavour less and rubbery chicken in it. So ultimately it was not looking like biriyani from any angle and when i called them to complaint chef told me it's not a actual briyani it's a pen fried briyani which they haven't mentioned in the menu but they should have. My entire lunch got ruined as i have to chuck it in the bin because if someone is craving for something and they order keeping in mind that it will contain actual recipe of the dish from the name. Chef also told me that no one serves actual dum biriyani in summy coast but there is one called ''sankalp" i always love briyani there and it has got all the biriyani ingredients like whole species, mint leaves, masala chicken and semy gravy and flavoured rice. Which i was expecting from here.
