Found ourselves in Caloundra and feeling like fish and chips for lunch. After the disastrous fish and chips experience at the Mooloolaba Spit last weekend we were a little apprehensive. Beachview Seafoods don’t have a large range of fish to choose from but that aside it’s quite a decent fish and chips joint. The shop was clean and tidy (as were the tables) and the service was great. The chips and fish were delicious, as were the onion rings, and the serving size was huge. The banana fritter was a little disappointing (maybe they should try sprinkling a little cinnamon sugar on it while it’s still hot rather than providing a sachet of white sugar). All in all it was a great experience and the view across the road was excellent. We will be back.

Best fish n chips I've had in years... Possibly best in my lifetime. Chips were crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The fish likewise had a fantastic crisp batter and was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Will definitely revisit any time I'm on the Sunshine Coast.

Yummy fish and chips and salad! Great staff and very helpful and accomodating! The chips were crunchy and the crumbed fish was lovely! Tasty salad too! A great outlook even at night!

Have to say I was impressed. Super fast service, quick to cook . F Cod was super fresh and the batter was pretty much like Japanese tempura in style. Really light. Chips were crispy on outside and perfect inside. We shared a pre prepared box of garden salad which tasted like it had just been made. Lettuce was crisp and really garden fresh, and their balsamic vinegar was perfect. Perfect dinner for us. Will definitely return,

Really good fish and chips. Fish was crispy and flaky and chips with a descent amount of chicken salt. We sat at the tables outside which could feel a little squashy and they forgotten to give my sauces with my order. It’s definitely not cheap but portions are generous as are the amount of lemon wedges they give. Drinks and extra sauces are sold separately which can all add up at the end. When did sauces get so pricey at $3 each? Other than that it was a good meal.

One of the best fish and chips in Queensland we think. Fresh fish, calamari, crispy batter and crispy chips. They give you a decent amount of lemon too. It does get very busy but we were lucky and went early so no line. Eat there and cross the road and you've got some of the best views! Staff are also very sweet.

Cod and Chip's was very good. They have their own special batter that doesn't hold oil. Close to water. Well worth trying. 19/8/23 still just as good, service very good and staff pleasant and friendly.

Sorry, couldn't let this slide. Extremely disappointing- spent almost $40 on 3 tiny pieces of grilled flake. Besides being the smallest portion I have ever received it was tough as a boot. Only to be told that "the fish shrinks when it is grilled". This doesn't explain how overcooked it was or the fact that every other grilled fish proportion I have had in my life has been twice the size. Without sounding dramatic, probably the worst fish I have had.

Best Fish and Chips I’ve ever eaten. The fish was white and thick with a crispy thin batter. Delicious and melts in your mouth. The chips were crispy and generous. Staff were lovely too.

A quick little outing for lunch and what did she want? A lovely fish and chip meal! So we headed over to Beachview Seafoods, quick and easy and close to the water. Lovely tender salt and pepper calamari and chips, nice and hot and quick service. Check them out down on Bulcock beach 🏝️

Great fish... I had Snapper and my friend had Baramundi. The curry sauce and coleslaw was great but the chips need to be bigger and fluffier. A few tables and chairs inside and out make eating the meal easy. The place is clean and staff were super friendly. Good selection of drinks to consume with your food. Also they had no issues with us watching the footie on a mobile phone whilst munching away.

A little on the expensive side. Advertised they are the best on the sunshine coast. The fish was fresh and a large serving of chips. Overall good food. The front service person could be a little more friendly and helpful. Would be great to advise where to pick up food. Busy at times, and you need to wait a while for food.

The staff are really friendly, attentive and helpful. The fish and chips were okay, although arguably some better ones nearby. Good for a quick bite across the road from the water.

The best fish and chips, that's a mighty claim. It is OK, just your average fish and chips and from my POV, the flake was questionable, as it was not tasting too much like flake and the texture was also wrong for flake, maybe stingray? Some of the chips were very oily, this indicates a second round of cooking for some mixed in with the fresh cooked and not draining the oil long enough. Nice place to eat on the boardwalk across the road and for the $100 or so we spent, we will likely try a hamburger if we ever visit again. A bit of a bummer getting some where to park, but that's another review for the council.

We have had fish, chips and calamari from Beachview Seafoods many many times. They are consistently good. The fish is fresh, well cooked and tasty. Most times the chips are crispy. The calamari is never chewy and always well crumbed. You can't lose going to this shop.

We have been visiting for many years, but today was next level delicious. Fish and chips were crunchy, well cooked and the tastiest we’ve ever had. What ever you have changed to make it extra… don’t stop

The calamari here is so good and not too oily. Great location, you can enjoy your fish&chips on the park near the beach. Highly recommended.

I will start with the positives - chips were really well cooked and not oily at all But The customer service was non existent. On a Wednesday lunchtime 3 young girls behind the counter - no acknowledgement that I was standing there waiting to be served - no smiles either . Do not tell me that they were short staffed ! Such a pity because as I said chips were good .

Accidentally ordered from the wrong shop and so glad we did. Best fish and chips we have had on the coast. Great service, fresh and hot food, well priced, not greasy at all, just yum. Thank you!

Usually wary of fish and chips as I catch my own, had a craving though .... Didn't disappoint! Staff were nice, fish was delicious, coating not oily and best chips I've had for a while. Definitely be back.
