Nice small venue with great views and food, waitress Debbie was fantastic

Really enjoyed our dinner at Ocean Ended restaurant and bar. Paul and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The brussel sprouts were a expertly cooked and had a lot of flavor. The fresh caught snapper was great as well. I wish we had room for dessert, guess we’ll have to go back!

First time being here, and I was amazed on how good the food was here. It is definately worth a visit. Our server Debbie was awesome, and really was enthusiastic in our meals and choices from start to finish. Thank you for your food.

Dinner last night. It was superb. The quality of ingredients, service, and food was 5 * If we were local it would be our go to place. Even our children loved the mocktails and food. Great place for all occasions. We will definitely visit again when back in Maroochydore. Support these quality places and you won’t be disappointed. For a fine dining restaurant, the portion sizes were great. The vegetarian choices were also amazing. The photos below are the chefs seafood plate starter- Scollop with pea purée, salmon with crouton’s and fresh calamari. The vegetarian starter, the chicken Ballantine starter and the seafood risotto Main.

Delicious food. The staff were lovely and really friendly. We got the dinner special (olives and feta, salmon tartare, fish of day and crab linguine, crumble, brulee) all really fresh, tasty and filling. Good value for money and good food. Eating beside the water was lovely and the drinks we had were quite nice. We definitely visit again. I really liked the decor and the fresh rose was a lovely touch. Made dinner really special.

Sunshine Coast, wake up. Yes I know, little hard to find. But do the effort! Amazing setting, great staff and beautiful food. Chef is amazing and flexible. Go check this place out before it will be too full every night!

The food was creative (both visually and with flavors); good size meals (no skimping on size due to creativity as some places do); it was ALL fresh; with a healthy energy & absolutely delicious…no weak spots…and then there’s the view!! Quite the spectacular lunch/dining spot…oh!! Almost forgot to mention the drinks!!…I won’t spoil the surprise on that one…cheers!!

Great location overlooking mouth of Maroochy River. Food was good. Had the swordfish beautifully cooked, presented and flavoured. Sticky date was an excellent dessert.

Had the most beautiful lunch today celebrating my husbands mum’s 99th at this wonderful restaurant. Debbie our hostess was so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive to make this lunch special for everyone. The food was delicious - and I would happily recommend this restaurant to all. Thank you Ocean Ended and staff for a memorable day.

My family and close friends helped me celebrate my birthday last Saturday at Ocean Ended. I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful atmosphere the staff helped create, the assistance they gave me to help decide menu choices and the service they gave to make the event every thing I wished for on the day. The food was delicious and the drinks selection great. We have dined at Ocean Ended previously and would recommend it to anyone, whether having an intimate dining experience or a larger celebration. There were 35 guests last Saturday and from their feed back, all would give a 5 star rating . Once again, thank you Jack and all your beautiful staff for making my birthday such fun. Fay

Deb and the team were fantastic! We celebrated a special birthday, family lunch and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The food was so fresh and delicious, the service impeccable and the outlook over the water a lovely bonus. We loved that it wasn’t noisy and could hold great conversations over amazing food and wine. We’ll be back!

Went here for Sunday lunch last week with a small group and had a wonderful experience. The service was second to none and waitstaff could not do enough to keep us happy. At no time did we feel rushed to finish our meals and leave even though it got quite busy. The atmosphere was relaxing as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant and the view of the river out to the ocean was lovely. We started off with a couple of cocktails and NGL the Sunshine Passion is to die for. For entreé we ordered the prawn and crab croquettes, pork belly, bresaola and a half dozen oysters which were all perfectly cooked and presented. For mains, The chef’s seafood plate (slow cooked octopus finished on the grill) got 5 stars as did the barramundi fillet which was cooked to perfection. The only disappointment was the scotch fillet which unfortunately was a thin cut with some gristle making it tougher than it should have been. Finally, dessert was ordered and once again all were delicious! The tiramisu was a surprising twist on a traditional favourite. By the time we finished we were all much fuller than expected as the serving size for all meals was quite a bit larger than the menu alludes to. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Ocean Ended and the price per person for all food and drinks was really good value.

As much as we love and miss the previous owners Paul and Michael, we were delighted to find this restaurant in good hands after the recent change of management. Excellent food, delicious wine selection, excellent service (Debbie was very caring and lovely) and fantastic view. We are definitely coming back soon!

Steak was not medium rare, and Salmon overcooked. We did address the steak with the waitress who didn’t check with us at all until we had eaten, and quickly cleared the table without waiting to hear the salmon complaint, was over anxious at the start of our booking to sell on more expensive wine and waitressing skills were a lot to be desired serving and addressing the males on our table first. The other two meals were perfectly cooked, and as always ambience the best .

My husband and I had dinner at Ocean Ended Restaurant & Bar, and we think it has, hands down the best, most flavoursome meals we have ever experienced. Very delicious food in terms of quality. The food was fresh and sophisticatedly prepared. I highly recommend it. All in all, a perfect place to enjoy delicious fine dining food!! Excellent service, excellent food. Exotic and tasty dishes and Perfect location. Definitely worth a visit!!

Lovely location for an surprise birthday lunch. Service very good, food was delish although I might suggest Specials are put on a separate menu/blackboard a lot to take. In one mouthful!

Staff are amazing. So friendly and funny, made dining here an awesome and personalized experience. Food is fantastic and fresh. I had the chefs seafood platter and duck, both were delicious. Quick service and water refilled all night. Made our Christmas Eve a lovely night. 🎄❤️

Fine dining restaurant with absolutely stunning views during the day (when the weather is nice). A little pricey but the food lives up to the pricing! 2020 Edit: still fine dining and still amazing. The food is presented really well and has a taste to match. My only gripe would be that they pork Belly I had for entree possibly needed a sauce as some of it was a little dry. The steak for main was perfectly cooked. We brought our own birthday cake and they dressed it up really nicely and presented it well.

Four Stars to Ocean Ended Restaurant & Bar! My top pick from the menu would be the Barramundi (highly recommend), smoked salmon tartar, and the chicken and veggie from the kid's menu with lots of sauce to keep my kid enticed, thank you! Outstanding service, would definitely go back again.

Our hosts Paul and Michael were most welcoming into their treasure of a restaurant. Ably assisted by their floor staff Eba and James, made for a very romantic belated Valentine's dinner. ❤ We partook in an exquisite meal with beautiful flavours and some refreshing cocktails.
